I love stopping by for take out when in the area. The Hainan chicken is super good with great sauces. The Hainan chicken noodles is also good but the soup is a little bland and the soup amount could be increased. The portion is ginormous-- kid you not, me, my two sons 11 and 17 all shared one portion and we're all stuffed. Love the Napa it comes with. They are Chinese speaking. Service is good when you talk in Chinese. Typical Chinese hole in the wall. Pretty cool that they were featured in the LA times!

They have the perfect solution if you like Hainan Chicken but not the rubbery skin. Cluck2Go offers an option with the skin fried. Simple menu, simple place with tables and chairs with efficient. quick service. There's lots of to go orders coming in and out. I ordered a side of steamed broccoli with oyster sauce and it was fresh, perfectly steamed still snappy, not soggy. A cleaned and simple meal.

When craving Hainan Chicken, this place is pretty solid! They have a limited amount of indoor seating, but not too long of a wait to dine in. Inside was clean and although service was not the kindest, they still got our orders quick and were attentive. Chicken is tender for the most part, clean, and boneless! We ordered the Combo B that came with a whole chicken, 4 rices, 4 hearty chicken soups, delicious five spice string beans, sugar peanuts, pickled jalapeños, spicy mala cucumbers, and carrot ginger and scallion sauce. Some of the string beans were not that fresh, but the flavor was still really good. Total came to around $50 for this combo, a good size to feed a family of 4-5! They do charge extra for their sauces if you want more, but you can always exchange one of their sauces for more orange or green sauce. Everything was delicious and I'm so glad they have a location in RH :). They opened another location in West Covina Haven City but pricing may be slightly higher there since it's located inside of a food court.

Great spot if you want flavorful chicken and rice without spending too much. Portions are big and price is very reasonable.

Cluck2Go is my go to spot to get my Hainan Chicken fix. For under $15, you get a generous portion of boneless chicken (your choice of regular with white/dark meat, white meat only, and dark meat only), rice, a cup of broth, and sauces. Drinks are available for about $2.50 (sodas, bottled tea, herbal tea). They have indoor seating available but most of their orders are primarily take-outs. Service is good and prompt. Chicken is moist and filling. Definitely think it is better than Savoy.

Our first time trying out this Cluck2Go at this location. It's located inside a strip mall on Nogales and Colima (at the JJ Bakery parking lot). We always like to have Hainan chicken rice. Many people order to go instead of dining in because it is a small place with simple decor. The menu looked the same as the other Cluck2Go such as Pasadena. Hubby and I ordered two Singaporean-style poached chicken with chicken rice, one with dark meat, and one with dark and white meat. It is served with pickled veggies, ginger scallion sauce (1), red ginger chili sauce (1), and a hot soup. I liked my dark-meat chicken because they were very tender, juicy, and smooth. They were perfect with the ginger scallion sauce rather than the spicy red ginger chili sauce. I also added some sweet soy sauce to the chicken because they tasted a bit bland. The soup was warm & hearty. However, we did not like the rice, the fragrant rice had no flavor and was not a bit oily and it was dry. Honestly, we liked the original Hainan Chicken Rice Cluck2Go in Pasadena more than this location. Overall it was 3.5 stars (I round it up to 4 stars). We like the other Hainan Chicken Rice cuisine on Nogales in Walnut and we've had better Hainan Chicken rice.

5 stars for the hainan chicken, though the soup and rice were slightly less flavorful after the location change. This Cluck2Go moved down the street into the plaza where Big Lots used to be. While the new location is a bit smaller, the interior looks more modern and bright. I also noticed more offerings on the menu, such as fried chicken and curry. If you're dining in, I think you just go straight to a table and the employee comes to you. Everyone who went straight to the register was picking up their takeout order. When I went to the register and ordered, it seemed like I was supposed to wait at my table. At the end of the meal, we went up to the register to pay. My bf and I were in awe at the single employee greeting customers, manning the register, and waiting on tables without writing anything down. This was during the dinner rush on a weeknight at 6 pm - there was a constant influx of people. When we were paying, she glanced at our table and accurately gauged how many lids we needed for our leftovers. What is this sorcery?! COMBO A REVIEW Somehow, I always end up ordering the Combo A ($26.50) which serves 2-3 people. I didn't see the sign allowing you to request white or dark meat, but I asked for all dark meat anyways and I was able to get it. - Half chicken, dark meat (1 large container). A big portion of warm, tender, and juicy hainan chicken. - Chicken Soup (16 oz - 2 small bowls). The soup was tasty, but now with a stronger ginger flavor. In terms of chicken flavor, the soup was slightly bland in comparison to the old location. - Chicken Rice (2 large bowls). The rice was also missing some of the chicken flavor that day, but the texture was perfectly chewy. It was hard to stop eating the rice after I was already full! - Spicy cucumber salad. The marinade was a little oily (always has been), but the earthy chili pepper and sichuan peppercorn tasted great. - Fried peanuts (16 oz). Fried peanuts tossed in sugar and dried chili. Say no more. - Pickled cabbage. I'm not a fan of the gingery pickled cabbage, but it tasted the same. Although I don't really use them, I think the green ginger scallion sauce and orange ginger sauces tasted the same.

I've been here many times and just realized I've never left a proper review. Cluck2go serves a delicious Hainan Chicken Rice meal at a very competitive price. The Hainan chicken here is never dry (get the dark meat!) and the rice always tastes flavorful. Yes, I've had better Hainan chicken rice elsewhere, but when I factor in the price, portion size, and the fact that it even comes with soup, I'd have to say that this is a great spot to get your Hainan chicken fix. The service here is always fast, and usually I can order and get my food in less than 10 minutes if I dine here. I come here on a regular basis, and it is one of my favorite places to get a filling and tasty lunch.

The white meat was so tender and flavorful, probably from absorbing the flavors from the broth. The meat was also very juicy and cooked to perfection. The rice is also a highlight rather than just a condiment, fluffy but full of umami flavors. The picked cabbage and the sauces (especially the ginger scallion oil) elevated the dish so much more!

It took about ten minutes for us to get a booth table, but we were waiting inside. The staff member called numbers firstly in Cantonese then in English. After we sat down, the waiting line persisted past 1 pm. Similarly, the bustling loudness continued on during the course of our meal. Food arrived quickly, however. The price point for the delicious food is competitive. We got French-style filet mignon ($18.99), braised tofu in brown sauce ($14.99), chicken chow mein ($14.99), and a steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork ($5.99). A pot of rice was included in our meal. The steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork was a nice appetizer that arrived first. I enjoyed how the French-style filet mignon was garnished with Thai basil, black pepper, and ginger. The meat was flavorful and tender. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included. Overall, it would be nice to visit again outside of a peak time because the food prices are competitive. The menu is expansive, and the breakfast selections look interesting. The atmosphere during the Sunday lunch peak time was consistently bustling. I think the restaurant started to play Chinese music loudly at random points so that people could finish dining more quickly.
