    House Special Pizza
    Robinson L.

Highly recommend the pizzas here. The ingredients are fresh and the pizza dough is extremely well made. This is an Argentinian family shop, the vibes here are quite friendly and warm. The cute pizza lady here told me that the house special pizza is great. So I got that. The crust is very on pot, South American style. Maybe just need a little bit more cheese on the pizza. The olive was fresh. It seems like they recently updated their prices. Small pizzas at $15 and big ones at $28. Last time I was here, it's slightly more affordable but hey, Californian inflation is just insane ‍

After first being excited to find Argentinian food, specifically empanadas and fugazzeti pizza, we came away disappointed. We had to pass on the pizza, a specialty item loaded with white cheese and onion, mostly because it would take too long and we did not have enough time to wait. Not their fault, but we opted to go with 3 empanadas instead. We tried the Chicken, Beef, and Ham and Cheese fillings, and they were nice sized and priced fairly. But we were quite disappointed with the dough. It was heavy, thick, and still doughy inside, even though they were freshly deep fried. The 3 fillings were just ok. The Flan was an afterthought and actually the only thing we would return for. It was quite good and creamy. We were also not impressed with the counter service. The two girls seemed preoccupied, lackluster, and impressed us as unhappy to have to explain anything. If they had been busy, I might have been more forgiving, but the restaurant was completely empty. This attitude plus the disappointing empanadas made it less likely we would be coming here again.

We have gone twice now... each of these pictures are from a separate visit. Both times the service was great. Very friendly workers. Small spot. You could easily miss it but it's in the movie theatre parking lot. We have tried the sandwiches, empanadas and the pizza. All REALLY good! Will we return? YES!!! We have already gone back twice!

4.5 stars Decided to try the Argentina-style empanadas here since I was just next door at Krak Boba. And...their empanadas are pretty good! I chose their empanada lunch special ($7.50), which came with 3 empanads and a can of soda. I got chicken, spinach alfredo, and corn empanada. When I looked at the size, I thought it was the perfect-sized snack. But NO! It was very filling. Chicken was ok-tasting to me, but the spinach alfredo and corn were my favorites. They were so cheesy, creamy, and satisfying...probably why I got full quickly. And the chimichurri sauce helped cut through the fat nicely. The dough was bread-like and quite nice. If I could only recommend one item, it might just be the spinach alfredo. It was worth it. Go get some empanadas!

First time here and man I will definitely be back!! Really cute place with authentic Argentinian pastry's and candies as well....but I came in for the empanadas and pizza. Great service and absolutely nailed the pizza and empanadas. Got to stop in and see what it's all about!!

My husband and I have been going to Guido's in Rancho Cucamonga since 2014 or so. We loved their sandwiches and empanadas especially. I did not realize they had opened a second location and found out they just opened a few months ago. The same family owns and runs this location which is right by the movie theater and has seating inside. I was in the area in Ontario so I stopped in here to get lunch. They have lunch specials on the weekdays so I went with the Empanada lunch special; 3 empanadas with a canned soda for $6.00! They don't have ready-made ones so mine were made to order. It took about 20 minutes for me to get back home, but they were still piping hot! I got beef, chicken, and spinach and they tasted them just as I remembered when getting them at Guido's.

I saw that this place opened recently and it's located in front of Regal Edwards theater off Mountain ave in Ontario. I shared a choripan sandwich with my mom. It can come with a side of salad or french fries. It's a sliced Argentinian sausage with mayonnaise, tomatoes, chimichurri on a crusty bread. It was not too chewy and the sausage was moist and seasoned nicely. The salad was with sliced tomatoes and sliced onions with a very vinegary dressing. I also bought a dozen empanadas to bring to my brothers at home to try. I chose the espinaca, chicken, chicken with jalapenos, beef, beef with jalapenos. My favorite was the beef. The amount of chopped beef and green olive was good and the jalapenos gave a good amount of heat. The chimichurri sauce cost extra and it went went with the empanadas. There's a good amount of tables inside. The restroom is clean and the staff is nice.

Delicious! Atmosphere is very welcoming, the service was great, -and the food was fantastic. I ordered a personal Hawaiian sized pizza and it only took about 10-15 min. The price is reasonable as well.

Stumbled into Guidos (Furnos) by happenstance and could not be any happier! We ended up getting the Cipolla pizza after finding out the Fugazzetta takes about an hour to bake. Employees were super friendly and modified our pizza to the best of their ability to mimic the Cipolla. The flavors are fantastic especially considering the pizza just had cheese and onions. The dough was perfectly salted and fluffy but crispy as well. Can't wait to come back and try other menu options!

Tried Furnos for the first time, and I give my experience an A-! We ordered the full-size pizza 1/2 pep & sausage and 1/2 margherita (yes, you can do half and half!!!), 6 empanadas (spinach alfredo, corn, beef jalapeño, ham & cheese, chicken jalapeño, ricotta), pepitas. Aside from the salt level of the pep & sausage being a bit on the higher end (for me at least), everything was delicious!! My personal favorites were the spinach alfredo, corn, and beef jalapeño empanadas as well as the pepitas!!! TIP: Get the chimichurri sauce for the empanadas!!! The curb-side parking right in front is super convenient (if you're lucky enough to snag one) Will come back for sure!

We are visiting from out of town, searched yelp for empanadas and Furno's popped up with 5 Star reviews. The place was immaculately clean, service was great. 2 sisters are the owners and daughters of another spot in town Guido's that my friend who is local said it's a staple. Furnos makes the empanadas fresh in front of you and they are excellent. My favorite are the beef, beef and jalapeño and the ricotta. Might come back and try their pizza.

Hi Patty! Some of our meat sandwiches (entraña and choripán) can be eaten “Al Plato” which means just the meat itself and we do have sides of salad that come with it!

12/18/2025 First…read moretime here. Finally trying out since I was in the area. Take-out place only, so no places to sit and eat. There are a few chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their order, but no tables, no bathrooms. My wait time was 15-20 minutes. You can call in advance and pick-up as well to save time. Options: You can request for fried or baked empanadas. Sizes are quite small. Smaller than your hand. Made to order, so empanadas are served piping hot. CRIOLLA It's been awhile since I've last had empanadas, so decided to start with this. Very good starting point. The criolla was jam packed with ground beef, onions, eggs, olives and raisins. Loved the olives and raisins in it brought a briny and sweet flavor. It was very satisfying to eat, especially with the chimichurri. For reference, the spicy beef was similar in flavor profile minus the spicy kick. SPICY BEEF A must-try. This was super good! I would have ordered more if I knew what to order. This was my favorite! It tasted like a taco filling with all the taco seasonings. There was ground beef, onions, eggs, olives and jalapeños in it for the spicy kick. It wasn't too spicy either. SPICY CARNITAS Very porky flavors. Porky-licious! Definitely has that spicy kick from the jalapeños. The meat was slightly dry. It was okay, but I wouldn't order this again. CORN & CHEESE Could not see much other vegetables in it other than corn. Don't know what cheese was used, but it did taste a bit like Velveeta cheese. There was not stuffed and there was not a lot of cheese and not a lot of corn. It was very bland. I could still taste the empanada dough. It almost tasted undercooked. The empanada dough itself is bland. This was terrible and not good at all! APPLE I ordered it for fried, but it came out baked. Overall it wasn't bad, it tasted like apple pie. Yet the dough itself is thicker, so it takes away from the filling. The filling could use some more cinnamon and more apple juice filling to bring a more robust apple filling flavor. The flavor overall was good, but slightly lacking. CHIMICHURRI SAUCE Herbacious and tangy. You gotta scoop up the herbs and eat it on top of the empanada. You do need to purchase for 50 cents extra. But I think it's worth getting. CASH OR CREDIT CARD ACCEPTED! SURCHARGE ADDED TO CREDIT CARD USERS. CUSTOMER SERVICE Good customer service. The person taking my order was patient and friendly. The one complaint is that the person taking orders do go back and forth to the kitchen to check up on customer orders. PARKING Large parking lot shared with other businesses. But large enough to find available parking spots anywhere.

I get giddy when I find little treasures such as this. I had originally bookmarked this little…read moremarket because of their empanadas, but I found so much more. The market is small and cramped and packed to the gills with Latin American and Spanish goods. They have good looking produce, a nice big butchery, multiple freezers and refrigerators filled with specialty items that will make your brain work on overtime. The way the deli works for buying their prepared food is different from some. You must first place your order at the back counter. You will receive an itemized ticket which you must take up front to the cashier. Then, you return to the back to show your proof of purchase receipt and then you get your food, bagged and ready. The total wait for us was about 10 - 15 minutes, not bad. I get it, why they have to do it this way, but it is time consuming and inconvenient at best. We did get some empanadas. They are fried, not baked, so have an extra good crunch with every bite. There are two ground beef fillings, i.e. two different recipes. Three were the wonderful filling that has green olives (my favorite), and one that was described as spicy beef (that really was not all that spicy). Both were delicious, and their dough was flaky. This could easily become one of my favorite destinations for a reliable empanada. Besides the deli empanadas, there was a nice selection of empanada disc's (round pastry wrappers) in the freezer section if you are inclined to make and stuff them yourself, and frozen empanadas made by Goya in yet another freezer. I also convinced myself I needed to buy two tamales. One Guatemalan, the other Peruvian. These are sold frozen and are ordered at the deli counter. Haven't tried them yet, but I am excited because they are not so easy to find. Other products that caught my eye included a fascinating collection of sausages, chorizo, morcilla (blood sausage), Spanish linguiça, Spanish chorizo, smoked meats (Corte's brand), smoked herring, quail eggs, and other imported delicacies. Perhaps I will not need to drive all the way to La Española in Harbor City anymore for Spanish imports? They sell a very comprehensive list of Goya brand products and prepared foods. I grabbed a bag of ready to eat sweet plantains from the freezer as well. All so tempting. By the time I had perused the whole store and was headed to the cashier, my guard was completely down. There it was... freshly baked goods critically placed next to the cashier so you can't miss them. Soft crust baguettes and rolls in baskets, and small, sweet pastries and cookies in their bakery case. There were several pastries that looked very special, some featuring custard or quince filling. We, of course, had to buy some. I have already tested the one filled with the quince and topped with finely grated coconut. It was outstanding, not very sweet. The dough was lightly brushed with egg yolk for a rich, beautiful finish. These were super fresh and very tender. The baked goods are delivered fresh from an Argentinian bakery in Burbank. This is a great find! Not your usual small neighborhood grocery. I am very excited to return.

Parking is easy in the shopping center's lot. We specifically stopped in to buy a premium Argentinean butter that my wife was looking for. The young woman working at the cash register had an off-putting attitude when we asked about it and said that they were out of stock. We continued shopping and upon check out, an older gentleman (the owner, I believe) said that they did have it and went to the back and brought several out to my wife. Happiness was restored! They also had the Goya brand olives which we love, but other larger stores are no longer carrying. We also picked up some thin sliced Jamon Serrano for our next wine tasting charcuterie board. Overall, a nice little market, not too close to us, but if we lived nearby, I'm sure we'd visit regularly.
