    House Special Pizza
    Robinson L.

Highly recommend the pizzas here. The ingredients are fresh and the pizza dough is extremely well made. This is an Argentinian family shop, the vibes here are quite friendly and warm. The cute pizza lady here told me that the house special pizza is great. So I got that. The crust is very on pot, South American style. Maybe just need a little bit more cheese on the pizza. The olive was fresh. It seems like they recently updated their prices. Small pizzas at $15 and big ones at $28. Last time I was here, it's slightly more affordable but hey, Californian inflation is just insane ‍

After first being excited to find Argentinian food, specifically empanadas and fugazzeti pizza, we came away disappointed. We had to pass on the pizza, a specialty item loaded with white cheese and onion, mostly because it would take too long and we did not have enough time to wait. Not their fault, but we opted to go with 3 empanadas instead. We tried the Chicken, Beef, and Ham and Cheese fillings, and they were nice sized and priced fairly. But we were quite disappointed with the dough. It was heavy, thick, and still doughy inside, even though they were freshly deep fried. The 3 fillings were just ok. The Flan was an afterthought and actually the only thing we would return for. It was quite good and creamy. We were also not impressed with the counter service. The two girls seemed preoccupied, lackluster, and impressed us as unhappy to have to explain anything. If they had been busy, I might have been more forgiving, but the restaurant was completely empty. This attitude plus the disappointing empanadas made it less likely we would be coming here again.

First time here and man I will definitely be back!! Really cute place with authentic Argentinian pastry's and candies as well....but I came in for the empanadas and pizza. Great service and absolutely nailed the pizza and empanadas. Got to stop in and see what it's all about!!

We have gone twice now... each of these pictures are from a separate visit. Both times the service was great. Very friendly workers. Small spot. You could easily miss it but it's in the movie theatre parking lot. We have tried the sandwiches, empanadas and the pizza. All REALLY good! Will we return? YES!!! We have already gone back twice!

Stumbled into Guidos (Furnos) by happenstance and could not be any happier! We ended up getting the Cipolla pizza after finding out the Fugazzetta takes about an hour to bake. Employees were super friendly and modified our pizza to the best of their ability to mimic the Cipolla. The flavors are fantastic especially considering the pizza just had cheese and onions. The dough was perfectly salted and fluffy but crispy as well. Can't wait to come back and try other menu options!

4.5 stars Decided to try the Argentina-style empanadas here since I was just next door at Krak Boba. And...their empanadas are pretty good! I chose their empanada lunch special ($7.50), which came with 3 empanads and a can of soda. I got chicken, spinach alfredo, and corn empanada. When I looked at the size, I thought it was the perfect-sized snack. But NO! It was very filling. Chicken was ok-tasting to me, but the spinach alfredo and corn were my favorites. They were so cheesy, creamy, and satisfying...probably why I got full quickly. And the chimichurri sauce helped cut through the fat nicely. The dough was bread-like and quite nice. If I could only recommend one item, it might just be the spinach alfredo. It was worth it. Go get some empanadas!

My husband and I have been going to Guido's in Rancho Cucamonga since 2014 or so. We loved their sandwiches and empanadas especially. I did not realize they had opened a second location and found out they just opened a few months ago. The same family owns and runs this location which is right by the movie theater and has seating inside. I was in the area in Ontario so I stopped in here to get lunch. They have lunch specials on the weekdays so I went with the Empanada lunch special; 3 empanadas with a canned soda for $6.00! They don't have ready-made ones so mine were made to order. It took about 20 minutes for me to get back home, but they were still piping hot! I got beef, chicken, and spinach and they tasted them just as I remembered when getting them at Guido's.

I saw that this place opened recently and it's located in front of Regal Edwards theater off Mountain ave in Ontario. I shared a choripan sandwich with my mom. It can come with a side of salad or french fries. It's a sliced Argentinian sausage with mayonnaise, tomatoes, chimichurri on a crusty bread. It was not too chewy and the sausage was moist and seasoned nicely. The salad was with sliced tomatoes and sliced onions with a very vinegary dressing. I also bought a dozen empanadas to bring to my brothers at home to try. I chose the espinaca, chicken, chicken with jalapenos, beef, beef with jalapenos. My favorite was the beef. The amount of chopped beef and green olive was good and the jalapenos gave a good amount of heat. The chimichurri sauce cost extra and it went went with the empanadas. There's a good amount of tables inside. The restroom is clean and the staff is nice.

Delicious! Atmosphere is very welcoming, the service was great, -and the food was fantastic. I ordered a personal Hawaiian sized pizza and it only took about 10-15 min. The price is reasonable as well.

Tried Furnos for the first time, and I give my experience an A-! We ordered the full-size pizza 1/2 pep & sausage and 1/2 margherita (yes, you can do half and half!!!), 6 empanadas (spinach alfredo, corn, beef jalapeño, ham & cheese, chicken jalapeño, ricotta), pepitas. Aside from the salt level of the pep & sausage being a bit on the higher end (for me at least), everything was delicious!! My personal favorites were the spinach alfredo, corn, and beef jalapeño empanadas as well as the pepitas!!! TIP: Get the chimichurri sauce for the empanadas!!! The curb-side parking right in front is super convenient (if you're lucky enough to snag one) Will come back for sure!

Is there anything gluten free on your menu?

Hi Patty! Some of our meat sandwiches (entraña and choripán) can be eaten “Al Plato” which means just the meat itself and we do have sides of salad that come with it!

    Does this have outside seating?

We have one small table outside with four chairs!

I had the BIEST PESTO and it was super flavorful. The ricotta drizzled with the spicy sauce was amazing. The broccolini was probably my favorite part. I even took leftovers home and they were still great the next day. I also tried the tiramisu and loved that it wasn't watery or overloaded with coffee flavor. It was served with strawberries and blueberries, which made it feel really fresh and balanced. I don't drink alcohol, so I ordered still water and appreciated that it came in a glass bottle instead of plastic. The servers were very kind and attentive, and the restaurant itself is open concept so you can see into the kitchen, which adds to the experience. The bathrooms also had a baby changing table, and the sinks are in a shared common area setup. Overall, 100% recommend giving this place a try...whether it's for a date night, business dinner, or just catching up with friends. Loved it.

We had high expectations for a few reasons: Decent (though inconsistent) reviews on yelp, part of…read morean up and coming area, and it's Italian. It's hard to hurt Italian food. Also, we were planning on going to Monaco's, but forgot it's Thursday...big deals on big pizza on Thursdays at Monaco's means big crowds. But it set our tastebuds into overdrive for savory Italian food. We should have guessed when we drove up and got a parking spot in front of an empty restaurant at 6 pm that it was going to be subpar, but we forged ahead anyway. We were greeting by a young man who kept referring to us, the two middle-aged women, as "you guys." Then asked if we had reservations...to an otherwise empty restaurant. The place was well decorated and light, though it was drafty and cold. And loud. Very loud for no one being there. The music, though a good playlist, was way too loud for such an echo chamber with nothing but hard surfaces to bounce off of. We weren't quite sure who our server was, but the young lady that took our order again referred to the two middle-aged women as "you guys." Ugh. Decent focaccia bread with dip arrived. It was OK, but cold. The food arrived in a decent timeframe, but the undercooked, starchy spaghetti was not quite warm enough. After asking three times for silverware, we finally got utensils, adding to the cooler temp of the food. So now that primary reason for a so-so review: The food was just OK. Not only was it not warm enough, but it was bland and lacked any presentation. Chicken Marsala had onions but no garlic, so it lacked depth. The Pomodoro was served with their standard marinara sauce, not pomodoro at all. Pomodoro should be a light and bright sauce with chunks of chrushed tomato, not bland marinara sauce that you would serve a seven year-old. The orchiete pasta were also undercooked...not quite al dente, not quite cooked. Lastly, there was some sort of photographer there. Part of the reason our food was cold is because he had to take multiple photos or our food from multiple angles. I could see the steam rising from it when it was being photographed, but the heat was dissipated by the time it arrived on our table. Without silverware. Then I noticed the photographer taking short videos while we were eating and we were part of the background. I prefer not to be photographed, especially by strangers. So this felt intrusive. Biest has potential, but it has a long way to go. Three things could help: 1. Train the staff not to refer to guests as "you guys." 2. Work on the preparation and presentation of the food. 3. Decrease the volume of the music. All it does is make people have to talk louder which adds to the cacophony. Oh, and don't make it look like you're photographing guests without their consent
