Our oldest dog, who was left looking like a chihuahua even though we asked for a short haircut, not a complete buzz.

I am so dissatisfied with the quality of service that my two maltipoos received. Our family has been going to furry tails for over 6 years now, about the age of our first dog. They were our first dog grooming service ever since, but as time went on, this past year, the service quality progressively got worse. Not only have they mistreated my 2 maltipoos by cutting their ears while giving them a haircut, they also don't know how to give the correct services. We asked for a hair cut on both dogs, and our older dog was left looking like a chihuahua. I'm quite disappointed with how progressively worse the services here have gotten over the years. Do better.

We used Furry Tails for the first time today! They groomed our 65 pound poodle and he looked so good!! They did everything we asked and more. I will definitely be using them again. Before/ After pics

I looked online for a high rated place for my pet Marley. He's a small maltipoo and most places do better with bigger dogs. The staff was so friendly I love the roam freedom that the little ones have.

We took cookie here for the first time for just a bath and they did an amazing job, he's ears were well cleaned and smelled like clean. The staff was very friendly and cookie seemed to be very happy! They added a valentines bandana and cookie looked extremely adorable! I will continue to take cookie there for grooming services!

Guys- This place is GREAT. I have a 5 month old standard poodle. It was finally time for his first "poodle cut" and I was terrified to bring him anywhere. I just moved to Dallas 4 months ago and had no where to start, so I read Yelp reviews and that's how I found Furry Tails. I set an appointment for the exact date and time I wanted and dropped him off at 8:45 am. The lady at the front desk was so nice. She made sure to go through everything with me and ask exactly how I wanted him cut. When we picked him up 5 hours later, I was nervous! But as soon as I saw him- I knew I found Saint's forever groomer. HE IS PERFECT. Every single thing I asked they did, beautifully. His behavior is normal, too. He didntseem worn out, or upset and out of it. He's back to his normal, playful self- just without the extra fur! We will be back- I can not thank them enough!

I wish it hadn't taken us so long to find Furry Tails but I'm so happy we eventually did. I feel so comfortable dropping my pup off, knowing she will be cared for and be groomed the way her breed should be. The dogs are not locked in crates or cages. They get to roam around in rooms with other breeds their size. The place is very clean. There isn't an odor like some groomers we have been to. The prices are also affordable for the quality of service you receive.

You guys have to check this place out!!! I'm a super picky parent and this facility exceeded my expectation. The facility is super clean , smells nice , spacious and very organized. One thing I love about this place is that they don't cage the pets while they are waiting for their groom and even after. Love how they have the freedom to roam! Another thing is the owners, Soo and Michelle are very lovely and wonderful!! You can definitely tell that they will take care of your pet as their own. The customer service was on point and they will let you know immediately when your pet is ready for pickup. Definitely try this place out for boarding and groom , you will not be disappointed!!

Furry Tails is by far the best groomer we have ever been too! Oliver always comes home happy and looking perfect. They have impeccable customer service as well - they remember how we like Oliver's grooming so we don't have to do anything other than drop him off. Redemption Song: I know, it's "funny" in pop culture to generalize all Yelpers as a bunch of snobby, self-righteous, wanna-be critics with too much time on our hands but I personally never even thought that simply combining a few of my favorite things (eating, trying new places, writing, photography and helping/making people laugh) but YELP has been exactly the place where I enjoy being able to do one more very simple thing and its; Being Honest! Somehow I got a lot of attention on my updated review of Furry Tails and how they went from a 5 to a 3 star due to a 'minor' mishap- but then the owner was sweet enough to offer us the chance to be impressed by their services and I can say that we truly are (and that never changed). Some customers are way more detail oriented than others, some employees will never be as passionate about a business as their bosses are, but all I know is that details and management matter and we truly appreciate the new complimentary handkerchiefs you've started to adorn our furbabies with and although it was hard to make you take our cash tip, we thank you so much for the handful of treats and the thorough check out service we got. To be fair I did bring a photo print out of exactly the styles I wanted for Nugget and Pica, but making sure it was understood during the drop-off and satisfactory at pick up was awesome. Keep up the great grooming and remember to wash your paws for 20 seconds minimum be well!

All I can say is Wow! My friend took my dog with hers one day and I immediately knew this was the place to come back to. They offer day care, boarding, and training. Leo is very knowledgeable in regards to training and I highly recommend him for your training needs. We will continue to go here while living in the area! Great place for dog grooming and boarding! We took our pups for grooming and told them how we wanted them cut. Most places cut them too short or not short enough. We stressed the don't poodle our doodle saying... We picked them up and were SOOO HAPPY with how they turned out. They also do boarding, so we left them overnight while we had family in town. Sue and Michelle gave us pupdates and sent pictures of them playing. We slept easy knowing our fur babies were in good hands. We picked them up and they were super tired, which is great for us, since we were just as exhausted entertaining family. We will return and recommend this place to anyone looking to board or groom their pups! read more

I've tried every place to get my shiba's nails trimmed but everyone struggles to do so cause she gets so stressed and scratches everyone. She's only 5 months old, came here through a referral and the girls here are absolutely amazing. They let her roam around play with their house pets and they just wrapped her in a blanket and held her close to calm her down while the other groomer filed her nails. Would recommend to anyone! I use furry tails for day care for my little Chihuahua rescue. My dog literally loves this place and the people working there. He howls and whines with excitement as we drive there and practically jumps out of the car once we park. It's been so good for him and his socializing and for me to have some mommy time . While I don't need the grooming service I've seen the dogs they groom and they do a great job from what I can see. read more

I just moved to Dallas and was really nervous about taking my pup to a new groomer. When I called they were super helpful and informative. When I arrived for our groomer appointment they were really friendly and make sure they did everything they could to make my dog comfortable! My dog came home clean, happy and with the perfect cut! Gigi just came back home from her first haircut at Furry Tails, and we are both so happy. It was really easy to made her appointment and prices are fair. I was nervous at first, but as soon as we walk into the place I felt completely different. Place is clean and very welcoming, staff was friendly and helpful. Really great daycare in the area with affordable prices and professional grooming services. I have a nervous dog with slight anxiety issues, so I was worried leaving him there all day but I can tell he likes being there! Daycare: I worry about my puppy being alone and becoming anti social when I'm at work so sending him there helps him socialize and sleep well at night. The owner sent me pictures of my baby having fun which I appreciated. You can see he a happy baby! Grooming: I got a wash and my puppy smelled great days after which never happens. He's really apprehensive but he left really calm and they also gave him a cuuuuuuuute red scarf after grooming on the house! He's the white eskie, all smiles read more

I've been bringing my pup here since I bought him and they've done a great job everytime. They did forget to cut his nails once but when I called to ask them about it they were very sorry about it and asked me to bring him in as soon as I could. I took a Siberian husky for pet grooming they charged me $80 roughly. When I came home the dog was shredding. They continue to shred. I called them and always went to voicemail and I left a voicemail no callback. Also I did see a lot of dead hairs close to the face that should've been removed as part of the package.. Overall it is a waste of money getting to this place. I also have a video that I took which shows the shred and I can post in my Facebook and Instagram. I will not recommend this place for anyone. read more

It is time for me to leave my review. This place is great! I have two moyen poodles (small standards). Furry Tails has groomed them about 6 times now- they never fail! They do exactly what I ask. I have chosen a few different clips for my dogs and I must say that each time, they have been on point! Not only are they precise in what I request, they have them completed in a timely manner. Their service is impeccable and they are always polite. Their prices are also very reasonable. I can't say enough about this place! I hope that they continue to keep me and my dogs happy! read more

This place is the best. We drive all the way from Uptown to bring our puppy, Riley, in for grooming. Whenever we pick her up, her tail is always wagging and she has a big smile on her face (quite the opposite experience we've had with other groomers). This year my family decided to get a puppy which I would never thought in a million years would happen! With my family's busy schedule I thought taking care of a our maltipoo would be a problem. After a few weeks of getting used to a new puppy we decided to check out Furry Tails because i heard many great things through people that it's the place to take your furry friends! This was the best decision my family has made this year so far. Furry tails was so aesthetically pleasing and also one of those places that you feel like home and trustworthy to take your furry friends. My maltipoo has seen some rough days without a haircut and the groomer ( Soo I think?) made him look like a million bucks! My shy bud was so excited to hang out with fellow canine friends and have found the perfect place to socialize and get taken care of and pampered! The two business partners/carers of the my malitoo genuinely cared and took care of him and that made me feel at ease and more eager to take him back! If you are going to pets mart or any other grooming/spa/boarding places for your furry friends, try out Furry Tails and it will change your furry friends and your lives! Brought my dog here while I was on a business trip. My dog Rocky has never looked or smelled any better . Super friendly, ridiculously clean establishment and great prices. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a new place to get their dogs groomed. Great job staff! I had read great things online and came in genuinely hopeful. That quickly changed. When I arrived with my dog, Buddy, and asked for a tour, the receptionist initially told me I couldn't bring him inside because they didn't have his vaccination records. I explained that I had already created a profile and uploaded everything. She paused, said "Oh," and then changed the reason--now stating I couldn't bring him in because it might "wind up the other dogs." At that point, I didn't argue and put him back in the car with the A/C running, but it was disappointing. A tour should absolutely include seeing how your dog reacts to the environment. Inside, the facility felt dark and quiet, with most of the lights off. Aside from the receptionist, I only saw a cleaning staff member. The tour itself was underwhelming at best. There was no effort to engage--no questions about my dog, no interest in my needs, no explanation of their services or daily routines. It felt more like an obligation than a business that wanted my trust. She showed me the "Ultra Suite," which includes a queen bed, webcam, and TV. Unfortunately, the room looked unkempt--the bed was unmade, the blanket was messy, and it appeared it hadn't been cleaned since the last dog. For $155/night, that's unacceptable. She did apologize, but it didn't inspire confidence. Next was the "Deluxe Suite," which was significantly smaller with a basic dog mattress on the floor. It felt more like a kennel than a "suite." There was only one dog there during my visit, yet the odor in the facility was overwhelming. I couldn't wait to leave. After showing me a few rooms, the tour simply ended--no discussion of availability, no overview of care, no attempt to answer questions or build trust. It was awkward and, frankly, disappointing. I'm very glad I chose to visit in person instead of booking based on the website alone. There is no scenario where I would feel comfortable leaving my dog here.

I picked up my dogs Honey and Rubie a few weeks ago from the 2 week board and train. At first I…read morewas hesitant about the results. The end of program training with me and my kids was impressive but I was not sure they would continue behaving at home. Jake was our trainer and he was very good at explaining to me how to use their system and how to continue things at home. The first few days I was worried as my dogs did seem stressed from the entire experience. However, after being home a few days they bounced back and I felt brave enough to work on the things Jake taught us by using the collar. I have to say, I am very very happy with the results. My older dog RUbie had many issues with being aggressive towards other dogs and making walks miserable. Jake completely fixed that and she is now very tolerant of other dogs. They both have stopped jumping, barking all the time in the house, and counter surfing. My home is so much more peaceful. I am continuing to work with the dogs and am realizing that I must continue to use the collars and work with the dogs daily to continue to see results. I am very very happy with Jake and All Dogs Unleashed.

Instead of calling the owner, staff chose to reach out to my veterinarian and wait on a response from them while my dog sat alone, isolated in an unfamiliar environment. I only found out because, something in my gut didn't feel right. So, I called to get access to the webcams, an hour and a half after dropping him off and when I checked I didn't see him. Immediately, I called back to find out where he was and I was advised that he was isolated in a room, in an unfamiliar place, I immediately got in my car and headed to picked him up. When I arrived and demanded they bring my dog to me, he was visibly scared and confused, and the front desk staff seemed unaware of what was going on or the reason for my frustration!! This lack of communication and care is unacceptable. If vaccinations were an issue, my dog should never have been approved or accepted that morning. I would not trust this facility with my pet again.

Their prices are a bit lower than others and I LOVE that they offer Dremel nail service, which is perfect for dogs with long quicks. That confirmed my decision to try this place. It has been a challenge finding anyone who can trim one of my pug's long quicks without hurting him, so I was excited. I dropped the pugs off at 1pm and they were ready around 4:45pm on a Friday (they recently changed grooming services to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). The pugs were happy upon pickup and continued throughout the evening as well as smelled pleasant. Their nails looked amazing, and no bleeding occurred. The groomer even showed me her Dremel tool and the safety feature on it to protect dogs' nails. It is always a concerning risk to try a new groomer for various reasons, and I'm so glad I chose Pierre's. I also like that I only needed to show updated rabies vaccinations and not additional shots like many places require simply for grooming. The owner Jobbi managed the phones from the first time I called about pricing and services to scheduling to picking up the pugs. He is extremely friendly and conversational; I never felt rushed. Pierre's is in a cute little house right on Lovers Lane with easy access. I highly recommend them for grooming!

My dog had been diagnosed with cancer just three days prior and now needed his leg amputated, ASAP. This was the closest and soonest we could have the procedure done, and I'm so grateful for it. Dr. Dammicci is incredible; kind, patient, and absolutely a top notch surgeon. I would never wish this situation on anyone, ever, but I was astounded at how cleanly the leg was removed. More remarkably, my child was already walking a day later, and three weeks post op, he's running, playing, and acting for all the world like this was all just some horrible nightmare. I'm forever grateful to the team here. They've given my baby so many years of life back. Seeing him happy and healthy, especially after all we've been through, is truly a gift.

I am absolutely outraged at the service I received from your grooming establishment. As a long-time patron of your business, I have always trusted that my Maltese would be handled with the utmost care and attention. However, my recent experience with your new groomer, Jordan, has left me appalled and deeply dissatisfied. Despite specifically requesting that my dog be groomed with long hair, I was shocked and disgusted to find that Jordan had completely disregarded my wishes and shaved my beloved pet down to the skin. He claimed that this was the longest he could go, but I am convinced that his laziness and lack of attention to detail is what led to this disastrous outcome. Not only did Jordan fail to adequately brush and demat my dog's fur, but he also completely disregarded the photo I showed him as a reference. The end result was a poorly executed shave that was uneven and unattractive. To make matters worse, the remaining fur was not whitened as requested. I am beyond disappointed with the level of service I received and demand that action be taken to rectify this situation. I implore you to terminate Jordan's employment immediately and take steps to ensure that your customers receive the quality service they deserve. I will not be recommending your establishment to others until I am confident that steps have been taken to ensure that such incidents do not occur again in the future. read more

This has definitely become my new favorite groomers for my pup! Right when I walked in, the first thing I noticed was the welcoming staff and incredibly clean environment. The girls who helped me were extremely kind and genuinely listened to specific requests regarding the cut. When I picked up my dog, he had an adorable handmade cotton ball necklace that led to a mandatory photo shoot session in front of their photowall! I could tell my dog was treated with love and compassion just from how he behaved when the lovely ladies were holding him. Furry Tails definitely exceeded my expectations and gained my trust!
