Overall, this buffet is decent with a big variety, fresh sushi made on the spot, chow mein, chicken and lots of seafood (shrimp, mussels, oysters, crab, shrimp boil), plus a fresh fruit and salad bar. Dessert is solid too with ice cream (mango, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry) and a chocolate fountain. A couple of downsides: there's often a strong foul smell near the chocolate fountain, and the tipping system is unfair. You pay upfront, and if you tip by card, the servers don't see it. These servers are greatvery attentive and constantly cleaning. So I recommend bringing cash to tip them directly. The service was excellent because it's self serve. The ambiance is exactly what I would expect: Ravenous Humans that are Hangery. But 20 min into our eating shift the whole place calmed down and people were calmer and nicer on round two! Bathrooms: Clean! Bonus: I'm a big Ahi Poke Fan. Went here today for lunch. There was no wait and we were seated right away. You first need to pay before you get seated. The price of the drinks is already included with the price of either lunch/dinner. I didn't really like we were seated. We are close to the food items but the constant people passing by made our eating experience unenjoyable. As for the food. It's your typical food serviced and tastes were just okay. Nothing stood out as very good. All just bland tasting. Some of the food was just dry. The only plus was our used plates were taken away quickly and that's about it and the ambiance is very inviting and very nicely decorated. Tonight was the first time I used the Teppan feature... gave them some veggies and shrimp to cook for me... they were accommodating, started onions first to caramelize them. Actually better than expected. It'll be part of my routine in the future. Surprising when so busy, expect more food turnover, some of the stuff was really tough, like it had sat too long... particularly the big long fish filets. But, OK, that happens in AYCE. Still good appetizer, and Chinese entrées. The sushi is mediocre, but the diced salmon and tuna make up for it... I make poké each vist. In my first review I noted that AYCE places tend to start big, then trim the offerings as the reality of costs set in. I think Fusion is doing that with dessert. The scoop your own ice cream has been replaced with little cups of tasteless artifical stuff. The donuts or mini bundts are gone. I had some chocolate cake ball that was dry and tough. I don't known if it's temporarily broken or discontinued: the chocolate fountain sits there empty. I don't really go there for dessert.... so it won't deter me. I just hope these aren't early signs of further cutbacks. The restaurant industry is really struggling right now. An Asian AYCE place one mile down the road closed less than a year after opening. The first time I came here was during their soft opening and I initially wasn't impressed with their food. However, we decided to come back after reading a few more positive reviews. And for $21 (lunch price) we didn't have much to lose. This second time around I had a way better experience. We came on a Tuesday around 12:30pm and it wasn't super packed like the last time. Everything was way better this time. The food, the service, plates being cleared in a timely fashion.... They definitely listened to the feedback and made some positive changes. The sushi tasted fresh, the Mongolian BBQ was good, the hot food offerings were consistently filled. For seafood options they have salt and pepper shrimp, salt and pepper calamari, and crawdads. The chocolate fountain is a unique dessert option. They also had several flavors of ice cream to choose from. Drinks are included in the price. I just love this buffet. The service was quick and efficient and the staff were very kind. I came here with my mom on a Tuesday at 3:12 pm. Definitely get the dinner deal! It is worth it! Everything was good , my favorites were the unagi nigiri , fried cheese wonton, fried coconut shrimp , baked mussels , pepperoni pizza , Mongolian beef and the fresh watermelon. There are a few things I hope they would change. 1. The spring mix and lettuce were covered in ice cubes. It looked too difficult to pick out so I didn't even try. I love salad but was unable to eat it here. Also the ketchup, salad dressing should be in squeeze bottles instead of open containers. ( I noticed the sauces dripped into one another ) 2. The sashimi still had bones in them. I do not eat sashimi but my mom does. It would look more appetizing if the sashimi was sliced into filets instead of chunks of various sizes. 3. I visited Fusion Buffet for an event and was told that it's better than East Bay Buffet in Dublin. I visited at lunch so the selection may be different for dinner. I thought the food was good but the buffet lines were long. Pro tip: don't wait in line, just go to the station you want. The Mongolian stir fry section backs up so the line is longer than needs to be. Unfortunately, it's right next to the sushi line as well. Similar experience as last time. It always seems extremely busy and crowded and it is dangerous that there's a lack of clear walkways in case of emergencies or fires. Also they still haven't added any dietary guidelines for reference at the buffet. Service overall is similar and really appreciate the people doing the grunt work of clearing tables in a timely and friendly manner. But I don't want to see the restaurant so crowded that it's difficult to evacuate. Tables are too close to each other and you can't pass for example from the buffet to the outside dining area. There's so many people that there's traffic jam at the buffet. Remove some tables and chairs and leave some room for walkways and this would also keep the buffet area less busy. Business owners should maximize seats per square footage but done with comfort and safety in mind is imperative. I'm willing to wait a little longer if that means it's more comfortable and safer. read more

The waiting time will say 30-50 minutes, but never have I waited that long with parties of 2,5 & 15. This place is AWESOME! First look inside the door and I was very impressed. The place is not crowded and it is air-con cool. Also, very cheerfull cashier hostess girls are there greeting you with smiles. What a nice way to start a dining experience. You pay before you are seated. The point of sale system greets you with that "Tip me up front 20% Dude" screen. We skip past that as we prefer tipping based on quality of food and service. The hostess tried to sit us next to a family with noisy kids but we 86'd that idea and had her sit us in a secluded booth. I already raised my noisy children and am not interested in hearing theirs. I browsed the buffet tables and the food trays like a wide eyed tourist. Everything looked clean and immaculate. A very nice presentation. I noticed some genius left the ice cream freezer open and I closed it before things melted. Why aren't these freezers made with self closing doors? The floors and tables are kept clean by friendly hard working staff. One worker stopped by to ask how everything is. That makes us feel appreciated. The main bus girl assigned to us was fabulous. Our party of three agreed the food was overall pretty good. Some items bordered on delicious while others missed the mark a bit. The quality isn't the Riitz Carlton but more like a top of the line Holiday Inn and far from a Motel 6. There were plenty of interesting food choices including Sea snail today. On the way out we were thanked by several of the staff for our business. That always makes me happy and barely nudged Fusion Buffet up into four star territory. A few negatives: Food that missed the mark. For my wife, the oysters were to meaty to eat in one bite. For me I had some sushi with grainy rice. I also tried the In shell crab that for some reason had mushy meat. There is an unlabeled stir fry station that should be labeled as such and with directions on how to use it.. I tried to ask the man with a spatula who I thought was the operator how it works but he doesn't speak English. The various types of sushi should be labeled so a customer knows what is in the bite they might choose to eat. Most other food options are labeled nicely. With a piece of crayfish shell stuck between my teeth, I went back to those cheerfull cashier hostesses for a toothpick. I found the toothpick dispenser. The girls were chewing food at their work station. That's never a good look. Back to my booth to taste more options. Across the floor there is only one cashier now and she is playing on her phone. I know everyone does this and you are doing it right now but Old School me thinks that is not a professional look while on duty. At $30 a pop plus tip, it's a pretty good bargain. However, In my opinion, the food here is better than most Chinese buffets that I have been to. They have seafood, hot foods, fried foods, sushi, dessert, hibachi, etc. Although I feel they may not have as much variety as other places, I feel like the flavor makes up for it. Great place for mixed cuisine buffet. Went here on a busy Friday night celebrating Father's Day dinner early. Went were sat pretty quickly. Just waited about 10 minutes for our table. Had a variety of seafood: fried shrimp, salt and pepper shrimp, steamed oysters, steamed mussels, scallops with vermicelli, and Manila clams. Each dish was prepared very well. The seafood was fresh. The meat of each one was very tender. Loved the oyster especially. It was very tender and juicy. The sushi was exceptionally delicious. It was a mixture of simple nigiri and specialty rolls. Loved the salmon and ahi nigiri. They were very fresh. The inari with seaweed salad was good too. The unagi was also good as well. The French fries were nice. They were reminiscent of Cajun fries. I miss all of the Asian buffet restaurants from the 2000's. The atmosphere, the endless choices and the overall experience. This place brought me back the second I walked in the door. From the giant "bedazzled" bear that greets you when you enter to the neon lighting under the buffet to the comfortable seating, the ambiance reminded me of those buffets from twenty years past. You will wait up to an hour on a busy day. At least they have tables outside to sit at or you can go walking around the mall to kill time. Birthday celebrants eat for free with 6 guests. They don't have an age limit for kids it's by height. Fresh fruit, sushi, Chinese dishes, cooked and steamed seafood. You get your own drinks, silverware but napkins are at the table. We decided to give this place a try thinking it'll meet our initial expectations given it's a buffet... and boy were we very wrong. Some of the food was good like the sushi rolls and cheese wontons, which honestly were the best options available. Then we tried some of the main entrees like the mushroom and kung pao chicken in addition to the coconut shrimp, but none of them had barely any taste nor texture to them. What's even worse, and I don't know why it was a good idea to try them... we decided to try out their pizza which was no more than a mere cheap copy of a Chuck E Cheese pizza and the edamame which was really cold and had an odd taste to them, making one of my friends feeling nauseous afterwards. We appreciated the service of the bussers whom took our plates whenever we were done with each round, which honestly was the highlight of the night. I've came here about 3 or 4 times. It's a great alternative for picky eaters or if you have a lot of stomach problems. I can't eat a lot of other types of food but here there's lots of shrimp crab and seafood and also other types of lband food. I know that's not what you want to hear about it buffet but they have also red meat pork lots of fried rice and egg rolls and foods like that as well and even some pizza. The reason I can't give it a full five star reviews because they got rid of their self-serve ice cream. Used to be able to scoop up as much as you want it and they had a lot more flavors too especially the rainbow ice cream. They no longer have it it was the perfect ice cream for my stomach the new ice cream is just standard ice cream it's fine but they're in these tiny little child size cups and I'm not feeling that at all.
