This is a hard one as my daughter recommended this place. She loves the owners and I did talk to them and they were extremely nice. My granddaughter order spaghetti.and meatballs, Caesar salad. She must not have been too hungry, only ate half of the salad and a third of dinner. My husband and I split a chicken Parmesan as we on't live in the area. We also order it with a Caesar salad. They were great and splits the dinner and salad. Loved the salad, but for me the spaghetti that came with the chicken was too spicy. The chicken was OK but I have had better. My granddaughter ordered the. Lave cake with ice cream, absolutely delicious. Sheena was our server was OK. The place is unadorned but reminded me of Cheers. I love places that are run by families and are local. So today I had the leftover spaghetti and it tasted so much better. So my real review is between a three and a four. read more

The food was okay, nothing spectacular. We got the meatball appetizer, two sandwiches, and penne Alla vodka. The sandwiches were fine, the pasta a bit above average. The real bummer was the service. Our server was a blonde woman with tattoos. She only came to our table to take our order and we never saw her again. Ran out of water half way through the meal and never got refills. I guess peppers would've helped it, but I usually don't need red peppers in Bolognese. My husband had sausage and peppers with rigatoni , Again, just OK. We are always looking for something new when we are traveling for soccer. We found this place which was closed to the tournament. The entrance was a little confusing. The restaurant was cozy and the staff was welcoming. We rolled in with a party of 12 and sat us without any problems. The waitress was nice and friendly. We ordered and our drinks came out quickly. Appetizers and salads were good. Food was great, and very authentic. Everyone's pasta was cooked well. Great favor with all the meals. We were happy with their gluten free options as well. This gem of a restaurant is a hidden gem. I was in the area with my grandson at a Pumpkin Patch as a Chaperone. Needed to charge my car and ran across this family owned restaurant. I walked in and you can tell it's a neighborhood favorite! I was greeted with a smile and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Mike is the owner and was extremely nice and accommodating! I was excited to come here after hearing about the how good the steaks were. The meal and experience was ruined, First, we found what looked like larva in the salad as the picture shows. Second, he showed her the picture and the insect, which we put in a napkin, -- instead of being concerned about this after we told the waitress,, she joked about it and said it's a cute insect. When we got the check - that there was absolutely no compensation or discount (it wasn't the money it was the point). Rather, she argued and was giving excuses why bugs were in the food--We were not interested in her excuses.-- it just made us more irritated. She said she'll ask the manager, which was highly inappropriate. She should've immediately did something about this. She came back with a $10 discount, which did not match our discuss with finding insects in our salad. There is no excuse for this. This is a lack of training in customer service with the waitress and a lack of Quality Control with the food prep.- we will never go back to this place. read more

Love the vibe here. Totally a neighborhood, local joint that is super accommodating and does a lot for the community. I remember a few weeks back calling to ask if we could bring our puppy on the patio. The owner answered and said "It's not just allowed, it's encouraged!". We live within walking distance and really enjoy popping in for a glass of wine and a yummy entree. Great spot! read more

Lemmo's is a nice little restaurant. The family feel makes for a nice ambiance and the food is really good. My wife and I go about every two-three weeks. Prices are medium+ and the quality is good. There is inside and outside seating. Outside has heaters and is a bit enclosed. Like most restaurants in Souther California they include is new non-cash payment fee.
