Loved the food here! I recall enjoying the brunch here during the pandemic, so was happy to learn that the kitchen was still open at 9:45pm on a Monday. I got my usual Peruvian dish - lomo saltado (can't go wrong with this dish!) and my partner and went with the server's recommendation - Aji de gallina (shredded chicken in creamy, spicy sauce), he couldn't stop raving! The portions were huge, so we got some leftover as lunch the next day. The server was honest that the Peruvian food was better than Mexican here. Wandered into this cozy place looking for a quick dinner before a show and the lady at the bar asked if we had a reservation. We said we did not but she graciously told us to come on in and seated us immediately. We both ordered a margarita which were on special during hour and were quite tasty. Husband ordered the chorizo nachos and I ordered the ceviche mixto. Husband had only had finely ground chorizo before but this chorizo was in chunks. He really liked it. I hadn't heard of this place and found it on Uber Eats. Upon ordering my to-go order I was SHOCKED at how great it was. The nachos were honestly some of the best I've ever had in my entire life. We added chorizo and it was far and above the best nachos I've had in the city. I also ordered the chicken burrito and it was MASSIVE and packed with rice, beans, etc. This is certainly one of the places that I starred on my list and will for sure be back in the very near future. Simply amazing! Noelia served us two nights consecutively, that's how good the food was. Drinks were great, the service was even better! I ordered the chicken mole from here. Their menu is a mix of Peruvian and Mexican American food. I found the mole to be very mid. It didn't have the chocolate flavor I was looking for or the consistency. It was pretty oily and bot as thick or rich as I'd expect. The seasoning was fine; it just wasn't real mole. I ordered only the dozen of bluepoint oysters for delivery tonight since I liked them before. 12 for $22 is not that bad. :) I love oysters! They're my favorite. These oysters are good. I've had better/fresher. But I'm happy they were open late and have free delivery (via seamless). I would order the oysters again if no other place is open who has oysters. Did have some initial trouble with delivery. They called me and I'm at work so I can't answer. I have instructions for drop off and they are very detailed so no misunderstandings can happen. Fusion HK was indeed a great experience all around. Fusion HK is located not far from the 50th Street train station, it was a short walk over to the restaurant nestled between several shops and other restaurants. It's not a fancy place but they've done their best to make the outside experience a nice one. My friend and I were there for brunch. We used a Pulse voucher which included a bottomless drink option and two entrees. The restaurant fair is Mexican and so their brunch menu offered the usual burritos, tacos and the like. We both order burritos and opted for the strawberry frozen margaritas. The food and the service was excellent and I would definitely recommend them for a nice summer brunch with a friend or solo. I will add, the area is a bit noisy, so be prepared to see lots of people passing and fire trucks going down the street on occasion. Came here for brunch with a few friends. The space pretty small - so I would recommend calling for a reservation before coming just in case. We used a fever promotion to come for brunch which ended up making a 90 minute boozy brunch $28 including food! Great deal. However, using the promotion was a bit of a hassle and the restaurant was having issues. When we got our menus though, we realized that the promotion was the regular deal so it is better to just not buy the promotion and just come straight to the restaurant. There is a surcharge for any seafood brunch item so stick to your land meats. The service was friendly, but a bit weird. You can get margs, mimosas or bloody marys for brunch. We got some margs which were good, but a bit sweet. We switched to mimosas, but every time we asked for another round, we needed to provide our glasses cause they ran out of champagne glasses. Weird... but OK. They flip flopped from constantly being at our table to make sure that everything was OK to going missing for a bit of time. The food itself was mediocre, nothing to call home about, but kept us from getting too drunk so that was good. Overall, a good experience and you can't beat that price. Looks like they have an awesome happy hour deal so might come back to check that out one day! read more

I wasn't expecting to come to Fusion HK in the first place, when I saw in their outside sign Ceviche I decided to give it a try, and let me tell you it didn't disappoint at all, I was welcomed by Gabriel who was very attentive ever since I've got into the place, I had ceviche mixto and it was awesome, chef's kiss as a Peruvian I really appreciate a good ceviche, and to washed off I asked for a nice cold Peruvian beer Cuzqueña, the ambiance is cute, the service by Gabriel impeccable, he made great suggestions for my next visit so I'm hoping to visit this place with friends and family soon. I highly recommend this place if you are around Hells Kitchen and you are craving some Peruvian/Mexican, they have great options in their menu from the 2 cuisines... I had high hopes, but this place was very underwhelming. I was using a pulsd deal that was supposed to be 4 drinks a person and 2 entrees. The good: the food was good, the server was nice, good "dancy" music The bad: instead of 4 drinks each, we got large mason jars that was around 3 drinks each but mostly ice and entirely juice with barely any alcohol. The outdoor seating also had no heating because they had gas heaters and didn't have any gas tanks left, that seems like bad planning in my perspective especially considering it's 30 degrees in March. We got offered seating inside instead but it seemed really full, not sure COVID precautions were being followed that well. We were absolutely freezing and I'm surprised they didn't have any electric heaters or backup heaters! They also added a 19%-20% tip to the receipt which was fine but surprising because there was only 2 of us and I don't think we were told that was going to happen. I ordered the Peruvian Fried Rice with a mix of chicken, steak, and shrimp, Tres Leches cake, and Peruvian Bailey's. My meal was amazingly good and hit the spot. The fried rice dish was so good and the cilantro sauce really added to the already nice flavors and ingredients in the rice. The tres leches cake was super good! I was afraid it was going to be too sweet, but it had just enough to just catch your taste buds and had such a nice combination of sponginess and liquid to make it feel authentic as it was in your mouth. I loved the drizzling of the chocolate sauce as well. The cake went splendidly with the Peruvian Bailey's. I didn't even know there was a Peruvian version of this drink (unless it was something house-made) but in any case it was great and nicely complimented my dessert. Back to the rice, the portion was big enough for me to box up and take back to the hotel for my mom to have the rest, which she loved. Also, the venue was very nice and was very nicely decorated that added to the ambiance and authentic feel. There were also some guys singing and playing guitar as well. Staff were very nice and attentive. Before entering the venue I didn't have much confidence in finding a place I would like as the West Side of NYC did not strike me as having authentic/ethnic gems but this place proved me wrong. read more

Food comes out, everything great. Once i go to pay the total comes to $32 something. I ask the guy about the lunch promotion and he says oh sorry i didnt know thats the one you wanted. He never said there were two options, how would I know? He said this one was the full meal. Mind you i had ordered it to go the lunch one to go the previous week and the seving was pretty much the same. Very dissapointed, they should ask which one u want during lunch hours if there are diff options rather than catching u off guard at the end once you have already eaten the food.
