Fusion is pretty good for Asian in Athens. Of course it's not authentic. This doesn't mean it sucks. It's good for what it is. There's lots of healthy options. Asian fusion gets made fun of a lot. It deserves this many times for pretty good reasons. The concept is played out. Maybe it's true, but sometimes you just want something that tastes good. That's why this place gets people to return. It's not authentic. That's okay. I had the pad Thai with tofu. It's about $10 for a bowl. The noodles were cooked all the way. Service is kind of slow. Try calling ahead and picking it up. I would like to come again. It's not bad for Asian fusion. Whatever you get will be fairly low on fat and healthy.

Pathetic general tso breading - not chicken.

Awful. In town for work and was feeling Asian food after long day of work. Did some research and this looked like the place to go based on recent reviews (supposed new ownership, etc) Ordered delivery through their website. It arrived quickly - 30 minutes - and that was the only positive thing about this experience. General Tso chicken - not one single decent piece of chicken. Literally 200 tiny pieces of breading. I don't even think there was chicken. Just crunchy fried breading nuggets drenched in a sub-par sauce. Ew. Spring rolls - had this off-putting almost burnt gingery taste. Tough to describe. Just bad. Ate probably 10% of this meal and did my best Vince carter windmill dunk into la basura. Don't do it, not even if you've had a few. Oh yea!! And they forgot plasticware so I had to eat with my hands lol

This place functions primarily as a daytime café, but on Fridays and Saturdays, the chef/owner crafts a rotating four-course menu that changes weekly. There is a shared bread or antipasto course for the table, then a choice of soup or salad, two entrees, and two desserts. We went the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. The bread course was a delicious focaccia, light and pillowy and infused with rosemary flavor. When we told our server how much we loved it, she offered us a clamshell with two additional slices to take home. That was such a nice gesture! I had the soup (a cream-based Italian soup with sausage, kale and potatoes), while my husband had the salad with homemade balsamic dressing. Both hit the spot. The dinner options were a choice of pastas. I had the puttanesca, which was bursting with big flavors from the garlic, anchovy and olives. If I had one slight criticism, it would have been that I'd have loved a touch more red pepper -- but I'll freely admit I have a higher spice tolerance than most people. My husband had the "summer fettuccine," which was prepared with bacon, corn and sun-dried tomatoes in a Gorgonzola cream sauce. I didn't taste it because I'm not a fan of the Gorgonzola flavor, but he raved. Both desserts were superb: a strawberry cake and an apple cake that our server informed us was also vegan. We never would have known. It was not dense at all in the way some vegan desserts can be. The server and the chef/owner were both so lovely and welcoming to two non-locals who stumbled in for dinner on a rainy night. It seemed like they knew everyone else there by name, so this is definitely a warm and inviting neighborhood place. The four-course dinner is a steal at $38 per person (plus tax and tip). It's also BYOB. We will surely be back on our next trip to Athens!

I was a little happier with my blueberry muffin than I was my Cousin Vinny. I wanted so bad for the sandwich to taste like an amazing Muffaletta because of the ingredients, but it didn't blow my mind. Still, it was fine. It was disappointing that they were out of chicken cutlets because several of the sandwiches had that as the critical ingredient. Directly in front of you is a case filled with delectable goodies - assoted varieties of cannoli, tiramisu, lemon bars, New York cheesecake, strawberry cake roll, chocolate cake roll, macaroni, and more!!! My husband had the Chicken Parmesan sandwich on foccacia and I had chicken with pesto, balsamic glaze, mozarella cheese, & tomato on occasion. Both sandwiches were HUGE and one alone could have easily fed both of us! We each raved about our choice - delicious, tender foccacia, generous amounts of high-quality fillings, all with the perfect blend of seasonings. Service was friendly and efficient. If at all possible, we will definitely stop by on our way back north. 10/10 (actually more!!!). A definite must-stop!

That should have told us something but we went ahead inside. We were told cavalierly to sit wherever we please since the place was almost deserted. We received our menus, and they looked okay (we did notice the prices were higher). We ordered mozzarella cheese sticks and meatballs for appetisers, an Italian and veggie sub, and a white pizza "to go" for later snacking. What a costly mistake! The meatballs were large and watery and the sauce so thick it wouldn't spread. The mozzarella cheese was passable for something out of the microwave. The salad arrived, very chintzy for the price. The subs were inedible. The bread practically cut our mouths- it had to be a few days old and very cheap. Made me think about the most affordable bread you can get for subs, but just warmed up in the microwave after it's become stale. The Italian was completely inedible - all the ingredients tasted cheap, bland and kinda "off." The veggie sub was mainly all cheap bread and a few sliced veggies, hardly any cheese or condiments. The place remained empty and we felt bad our waitress because we think she knew how bad the food was. $90 later (!!) we left feeling cheated and still hungry. Later that night, when we opened the "white" pizza, it was so bad it was funny. We expected creamy Alfredo goodness with spinach or artichokes, but in the end, it was a deflated pizza crust (paper-thin but somehow still greasy) that hurt your mouth, with the thinnest layer of cheese melted and tasting mainly like salt. We will obviously never go back and we can't not let people know! We're hoping this place closes soon so another, better restaurant will move in. We traded Lamb's Garden for this?
