Disappointing. After the oil change was done using a $45 deal on Groupon, I was informed by the owner that my car took 2.5 qts more oil, hence charged me an additional $20 on top of the Groupon purchase amount. He could have said to read the fine print when taking the car, knowing that he will be charging me additional money right from the outset. $20 is not a lot of money, but it is poor customer relations and poor relationship management. It's a red flag, and sends me an alarm signal. I don't think I would want to go back there again... read more

After reading the reviews visited this place, Though spoke very professionally while handling the requests. Got a groupon coupon which i used without any problem to change oil . They said the axle was leaking and quoted me a 600 $ bill. I wanted to take to the dealer because i had an warranty on the car. I had to pay 200$ to get it inspected with the dealer and was shocked to know that there was no leakage from the axle . Infact it was the leakage from the oil because the oil filter was not changed during the oil change which I had to do it again. will never ever visit this place again, Stay away from this place read more

I had an appointment today with FAC to get four new brake pads (purchased a Groupon, which they immediately honored). My rear rotors needed to be replaced and the front ones had to be resurfaced at an additional cost. They were upfront about that before starting the work. No problem there. Unfortunately, they didn't have the parts in stock and it took considerably longer to service the brakes. I won't go into all the details, but I am still giving them four stars and am willing to come back to FAC because of the owner/manager, Sean. He was extremely apologetic for the delay and compensated me for my loss of time. In short, he made it right so thank you, Sean. The brakes seem strong and solid so far. They're very upfront about the time it takes to do a service, for example I came for an A/C recharge and the time it took exactly matched what they quoted. And WOW it is very CHILLY in my car now. Very friendly staff/management that takes the time to make sure each car they work on is in perfect working condition and are transparent with each step and cost of the process. I can't understand how other people can be so upset with a mechanic shop that takes the appropriate amount of time to do a great job on their vehicle. At the beginning of the year I purchased a Groupon for this shop to have my brake pads replaced. My first experience I booked in February for a 430pm appointment, which required me to put in my vehicle information and service need that was then approved by the shop. I drove over an hour with traffic for my appointment to be told that they don't keep parts on hand and that it was too late in the afternoon to get them. This was super frustrating but the owner was friendly and honest and I was able to let it go. Fast forward to my actual service - i got the notification that my Groupon was expiring last week, so I finally booked a 1pm appointment for the brake pad service. I arrived promptly at my appointment time, and was greeted by/checked in with the other front office employee. He tells me it's going to be about 30 minutes before they can look at my car. Kind of a frustrating start considering there was a scheduled time, but I say it's fine and that I would just sit in my car until it was time, and I told him where I was parked. 45 minutes go by and I haven't heard anything so I go back inside and check in. Pretty sure he'd gotten busy and forgotten about me. So I give him the keys and take a seat next to the front desk thinking they'll hop right to it. Another 20 minutes go by before they tell me that they're going to order pads and rotors just in case they need replaced while they're doing the pads. I appreciated the proactive plan, and that the owner said he'd be going to get them. I was starting to feel a lot better about things. Then the owner leaves. 4pm rolls around and more customers are coming to check in - maybe 4 or 5 people after me. The office guy tells one of them about a coffee shop down the street so I take this as an opportunity to ask where things are at and if I have time to walk over and grab a coffee. He apologizes for the wait and said he was going to call the owner immediately and that he would call me as soon as he talks to him. I leave for 40 minutes and come back to all of the other customers gone and my car in the exact same spot as before. At this point I'm borderline in tears frustrated. At 5:05pm my car was finally in the air, and the whole service was completed at 5:23pm. 4.5 hours of my day that I had to take off work unpaid versus the long lunch I'd planned for, for a 20 minute service. Upset doesn't even scratch the surface. I went with this shop because I was hoping to try something new and not keep lining the dealership's pocket, but I ended up actually losing about $440 in pay with this for a whole $100 savings. I will say that the only reason I'm giving any positive stars is due to the staff who are so friendly and personable, but they were also so overwhelmed with the workload. I did understand the owner was also dealing with some family business yesterday so I'm giving grace there, but there's no point in bringing customers in via Groupon or a scheduled appointment time if this is the experience, because all you're doing is bringing a negative experience for the customer. I spend my entire day here, I felt like I was constantly forgotten, and am honestly pretty upset that it feels like aside from the customer service apologies, it feels like this whole nightmare wasn't even truly acknowledged. Unless your ideal day is spent in a 4x6' reception area of a repair shop, it might be worth it to look at other options. read more
