Ari and his team were quick to respond in scheduling and on install day itself. The work started at 8am on a Saturday and wrapped by 4pm that afternoon with our car successfully charging without issue. They handled permits with the city and provided guidance when I met with the inspector and the permit was approved. Our project required trenching and a ~70ft run to a detached garage and the plug-in team handled it no problem. I highly recommend them for any EV project as the provided great value and great service.

Avi came to my property on May 15 around 10:00 AM and measured the distance from my assigned parking spot to the electrical room. The electrical room was not accessible that day because I live in a condo and had not secured access. After the visit, Avi sent me a quote for $4,000 and requested a 10% deposit via Zelle. I sent the $400 deposit on May 15 so they could proceed with a proper assessment and prepare the documents needed for HOA approval. On May 21, Adar, Avi's technician, came to the property. I had access to the electrical room at that time, and we also spoke with my HOA president. During that visit, I learned that due to the builder's agreement with ChargePoint, I could not use the ChargePoint Home Flex device I had purchased. I was told I would need to use a commercial ChargePoint device instead. Based on that information, I decided not to move forward with the installation. I notified Avi on May 21 that I would not be proceeding. At that point, no installation work had been completed. The only work performed was the initial measurement visit on May 15 and the follow-up assessment on May 21. I did not receive a response after notifying them that I was canceling. On May 29, I followed up and requested a refund of the deposit, but I still did not receive a response. The invoice shows a payment schedule of 10% deposit, 80% installation, and 10% inspection. Since no installation work was completed, I believe at minimum the 80% installation portion of the deposit, or $320, should have been refunded. As of now, Plug In EV has kept the full $400 deposit despite no installation being performed, and I have not received communication regarding the refund request.

BK understood the scope of my project and 2 days later it was all done for a good price. This project has been long overdue so thank you for taking this off of my mind!

BK Electric came out within a few days to take a look and give an estimate. I had received a lot of estimates for this project and BK Electric was in the lower middle range of the prices I got. Scheduling: This was honestly a nightmare. After I signed the contract and put down a deposit they scheduled me on a day for the following week. This outlet installation was required to be completed prior to a Costco purchased microwave delivery and installation appointment. They cancelled on me and needed to reschedule 3 separate times. Each time I was only notified the day of the scheduled appointment. This caused the follow on Costco microwave installation appointment to need to be rescheduled each time. To be fair to the person in the office, Eli, it wasn't his fault and he was properly scheduling and doing his best to get the electricians out to do the job. It was the electrians who either were calling out that day or last minute going to "higher priority" job sites. However, for the BK Electric as a whole, this is pretty terrible customer service. Work: The quality of the work seemed good. Where and how the ran the line and the junction box with the outlet installation all seemed cleanly done. However, there was an issue where they did not install a GFCI outlet in the new location that required it. This delayed the microwave installation since the Costco installers refused to install without a GFCI outlet. I had to call BK Electric and have them come back and fix it.
