Well, they were incorrect, Top Value Transmissions got in touch with me and let me know that they take care of that. Amy, the owner wasn't sure if that was gonna be the actual problem or not until she saw it for herself. So I brought my van out there, it's borderline wheatfield and Niagara Falls, New York.. She had to order the part because I did in fact need the sensor, and it took six days to get there, so I went without a van, but I could've gotten it if I wanted it bad enough I just didn't really care at that point, I was so fed up with needing so much stuff done to the van to pass inspection. Amy found a lot of problems with it, of course. So she replaced the brakes and brake pads and other things that I don't know but everything that it definitely needed. And then eventually did the transmission sensor. Forgetting all the work done that I did it didn't cost too much. I mean it was a lot a lot for me. I can't afford anything is everybody knows, but just under $2000 to get a lot of work done. But just driving it home the van felt like a completely different van. Felt so nice. So she was able to take care of the job. I highly recommend her. She goes into detail about what you need. She's not a bullshitter and she even holds onto the parts that she took from your vehicle that were damaged and shows you afterwards and boy was mine in dire need of parts. Thank you, Amy and crew.

"You fix things as needed at whatever mile" per the son. So I drove 7 miles clear opposite direction from my way home after work to give this place a try yesterday. It's totally worth the trip!! I will be taking my car there from now on hands down. It's a feeling of relief I've gained. Priceless. I got an oil change plus inspection done for around $52. Very fair in pricing. Give them a try. You can certainly call their phone but I opted to use their electronic communication options. Online scheduling was easy via their website. Received a follow up text to confirm the appointment and received drop off instructions. There is certainly a person answering the texts, which was nice. Diagnosing the problem didn't take very long; maybe a couple of hours after I dropped it off. I was sent a link to view the findings from the technician, complete with important photos, and recommendations. I received a second link that was used to verify which repairs I would like performed, and their costs. At that point, I either agree or disagree to the individual parts and labors that were recommended. I Signed the electronic agreement and moved on with my day. I Received another text when the van was complete. This was my first time visiting AmTon and I believe them to be running an honest and trustworthy business. I hope to not have to return under the same circumstances, but if I need to, they will be my first call.

A week and a half ago the break light came on. I called for an appointment but was told that I wouldn't need an appointment, to just come in after 4 pm. When I asked if it was possible that the break pads already needed to be replaced he said it dependended on how I drive. I asked what other reasons since I'm not someone who rides the breaks. He stated the obvious that he did not know that he couldn't see the car over the phone, that I'd have to bring it in person. I went in after 4 pm. Was told that I had to make an appointment. The first available was today at 9 am. I arrived on time. They are switching over to the new company that is taking the business over. There's some kinks in the operation, I completely understand this. The mechanics figured out that there was a wire that came loose therefore triggering the break light. They pointed out other work that should be done. I thanked them all and asked for an estimate, I by no means did a shooting of the messenger. I did not place any blame on them. Yet as the one mechanic was handing off the car back to me he snapped at me " It isn't anything we did!" I told him that I was not blaming him to not get so defensive. Did he apologize for making a huge assumption? Nope, he doubled down and starting ranting at me as he was walking away from me. I told him he needed to stop and he still kept going as he was walking. I was going to possible go back for an inspection and the other work that they recommended to be done. I had gotten a estimate right before the rude employee acted the way he did. After the key was giving back to me and after the rudeness had taken place I asked questions about the disconnected wire and was told that I should have came in sooner. UGH, I tried to. So if you want to be treated as if you're an idiot when you ask questions and want to deal with unwarranted defensive behavior then this is the place for it. The other employees watched and heard the rude employee and not one of them apoligize for his tantrum towards me. I dont think I will be going back for more insult.
