This place was GREAT!!! Stopped by after a favorable recommendation from a friend and this place did not disappoint! For our first time we went it! Fish taco, shrimp taco, spicy pork taco, beef taco, queso with chorizo. Each taco was very much so tasty. But I think my favorite was the spicy pork....yummmmmm. Let's not forget a out the queso.....deliciousness! We then washed it down with some oversized margaritas and the prickly pear flavor was a crowd pleaser. Oh yea and why not splurge with an extra shot for only $1! For dessert we had the chocolate cake and pineapple upside down cake...shots! Lol! Very nice! Our lady bartender was fantastic!!! I ate here for the first time yesterday and everything was great! We had grilled and tempura mahi tacos, shredded chicken "heat" taco, shredded brisket enchilada, black beans, cilantro rice, jalapeño bottle caps and Latin fried potatoes. The only thing I probably would not order again were the potatoes. They were kind of like dried hash brown chunks; not for me. They were fresh and hot though. All of our food was hot, fresh and well seasoned. The restaurant and service areas were spotless and kept up to or beyond COVID safety standards. Everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly, too. Plus it's funny to say you ate a fuzzy taco. LMAO! Wow. Taco Tuesday is the best. So many choices for $1.69 I got a soft corn shredded chicken and a special ground beef. Lots of shredded cheese and they even had two different kinds of hot sauce on each table. Beverages were self serve or you could get a beer at their bar area. The place was crowded and it did not take long for our buzzer to make the noise to let us know our food was ready. Picked it up at the window inside and gobbled it up. Fuzzy's Taco Shop seemed to me like somewhat of a brittle restaurant housing the enormous student overflow from local University of Central Florida. While it offers an enticing menu for the adventurous (and unadventurous) individuals, the service here may leave you hoping for more. The other evening we decided to order tacos and an enchilada plate. Tacos having the special request of no cilantro, didn't seem to come out getting the hint. Not only this, but when trying to get a little help from the kitchen who added the aforementioned cilantro, we received a simple "there's no cilantro on that." I've only been here a few times and I liked fuzzys until now. Me and my friends went here on Saturday jan. 6th for dinner and everything went alright until the next day we are all throwing up all day long and in the middle of the night for hours. It is Monday and I'm still feeling sick to my stomach. My friend called the restaurant saying we got food poisoning from them and all they had to say was sorry and didn't do anything about it. What kind of service is that? Very disappointed and now I'm just waiting to feel better. Don't go here unless u want food poisoning and throwing up your guts all night long. read more

A pretty disappointing experience. I happened to go on Taco Tuesday, which thankfully meant that I didn't have to pay full price for the subpar tacos I received - but I would gladly have paid more if I could have had better quality food. There was no one at the front register to take orders when I got there, so I had to go order with the bartender. Immediately I got the vibe that this place couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a fast-casual Tex-Mex spot, or a bar. Very similar to a Graffiti Junktion location around town, if you are familiar. The limited interaction that I had with the staff though was mostly OK. When I approached the food pick-up window after waiting a fairly long amount of time for my order, they explained that the batteries must have been bad in my buzzer. So, of course being great employees, they just put it back so that another customer would have to use it and go through the same long wait not knowing their order was up. The tacos were made with pre-cooked shredded meats that were just bland, dry, and very pedestrian. The brisket and pork were dry, and only the hot sauce on the table saved them. The chicken was extra wet from sitting in it's juices - which caused my tortilla to rip apart as soon as you picked it up. I ended up eating it with a fork like it was a salad. A really bland salad, that is. I just do not see what the appeal could be to this place. The food was just not good. The sole redeeming factor was the lettuce and tomato on the tacos was at least fresh and crisp, although that is to be expected. I also had the mix-mex fried rice, which was more bland than the tacos - it just tasted like nothing. I just don't get it. While new to the Orlando area, they have a good number of locations in other markets, and I do not see how they've expanded to this level serving this food. read more

Cons: - I can't understand why there's a space on the receipt for a gratuity, it's kind of a turn off. Had another great lunch with my co-workers today. Arrived at about noon, zero people in line. Cashier was friendly and patient while we looked over the menu to decide what to order. I went with the mixed taco plate with tempura shrimp and ground beef both on hard tacos with everything on it. For sides, I got the black beans (usually I get the borracho beans), and cilantro-lime rice. By the time I got my buzzer, waited a few seconds for my co-worker to order, then walked over to get my drink, my buzzer was already going off!! Wow that was super fast! The food was nice and hot and everything was fresh. I was bummed that I accidentally ordered the black beans vs red, but to my surprise, they were absolutely delicious. I started with the shrimp tempura taco and it was bursting with flavor. Unfortunately that left a big shoe to fill with the ground beef taco. It was still good, but the shrimp one was better. My co-worker got the baja taco and could not stop raving how good it was. Definitely gonna try that next time. Three more co-workers joined us and everyone's food came out equally as fast. Like freakishly fast lol. We work for the Army so they were so happy they got a military discount. My co-worker got 2 tacos for $3 and my boss got the same mixed taco plate as I did for $5 off. Didn't have the best expierence here, from the service to our meal. Ordered the jalapeño queso which came out cold and lacked flavor, also the tacos were poorly assembled and couldn't taste much of a difference of the two, not as cold as the queso but not warm at all. Came during happy hour, to only find out when I asked about the happy hour, that it was only only Tuesday. The menus that I handed stated it was happy hour and wasn't told otherwise until then. Fun & good taco place. I've heard about this place and almost took the fam last week, but decided to go on a Tuesday for my 1st time. All taco's (except fajita & shrimp) are $1.59 on Tuesdays. Tonight, although it's Tuesday and Taco's are the theme of the night, my 2 boys order a quesadilla and breakfast burrito. Seriously? So I have to start out my saying that all the food was good, non of was outstanding, and non of it had an overwhelming flavor that made me say "oh wow, that was so good". The queso was a thin white cheese sauce that didn't have a standard white cheese sauce taste. It was good and I couldn't stop eating it. Like I said, a little on the thin side but good. My hard ground beef taco was a normal sized taco. I have to mention this because I've noticed some comments on the portions being small. Once again, it didn't have a standard taste, good, but nothing that stands out. My son's spicy pork quesadilla looked like a spiced pulled pork. It was large and comes with a huge portion of sour cream (thank you !) and some pico. Good stuff. My son had a huge breakfast burrito. He liked it and that's all that matters. So all this and 2 drinks were $20.00 Once you order at the counter, your given a buzzer. When ready, you go pick up at the cooks window. I ordered 2 steak taco's and churros to go which my husband said were good. The churros were warm, sweet & crunchy yumminess.......mmmmmm There is a full bar that you can sit at and it's also accessible from the outside. Good food, taco's, atmosphere and price.
