I've been to five different Fuzzy's Taco locations, and this is by far the worst of the lot. I ordered huevos rancheros with eggs over medium, no cheese, extra sauce and corn tortillas. I received one correct and one egg half scrambled, a pile of cheese and almost no sauce. Not to mention the disgusting silverware (I posted a photo). The food was eventually fixed and served nearly cold, and I had to clean my own silverware. Needless to say, I hope I won't ever have to eat here again. read more

Over an hour and a half at Fuzzys in Roanoke, TX. waiting for my order. Same for 3 other people that were also waiting as long. The kitchen got so far backed up that they couldn't handle the volume and they weren't putting the food out in the order the tickets came in. they had a mass of paper tickets they were just picking at random. I asked to be refunded my order and they told me to email that request because they cant do an online order refund in store. Unacceptable. read more

Read my other reviews and you know I love Fuzzy's. However, based on my experience at the Roanoke location, had this been my first time it would have been my last. Service was about as energetic as watching paint dry. That I can get past. But the food did it on for me. My wife had her normal salad and it was disgusting. All Iceberg lettuce and the worst part... she pulled her salad from the side of the bowl. And there was about 1/4 cup of water at the bottom sloshing around. My California Heat Shrimp tacos were bland. Not sure how they messed those up. And finally, my 2-kids meals looked like they were made a couple hours before. My wife tried to talk to the cook about her salad... His response, "it always looks like that." Really? And he didn't want to make it right or remake it. Sorry... I will avoid this location like the plague. Get your stuff together or you'll be out of business soon. Fuzzy's is great. But this location is just atrocious! read more

The staff was incredibly rude. We walked in at 9:20 and they closed at 10. We order and sat at a table that didn't have the chairs up at 9:20. They prepared two of the three meals ordered. After asking them to make our third meal they make the wrong meal. The cooks threw a fit, when asked to fix the correct meal. To tell us the meal was ready, they whistles and said "ma'am, do you want your food or nah?" They served us the meal at 9:50. They yelled "bye!" As the food was being taken. The other two meals were finished by the time other meal was served. While sitting and eating the meal. The staff kept yelling let's go. At 9:57 they turned the lights off over our table but left the rest on. Including where another group was sitting. read more

Fuzzy's - I'm disappointed. Your food - awesome. Your breakfast tacos are my new addiction. However...we need to talk about your service. Last night we brought some friends here from out of town and walked in at about 9:05 PM. We were hoping to get some grub before the Roanoke fireworks started at 9:30 PM. We figured that a few tacos and a quesadilla shouldn't be that difficult considering we were 1 of 3 parties in the place and the only ones that hadn't received our food yet. So we ordered and sat down to wait. And wait. And wait. I kept watching the clock as 9:30 came and went. I watched as our order was piecemealed at the counter to sit and get cold. Finally at 9:38 the husband went over to get our food because I was tired of watching my tacos get cold. Surprisingly, after over 30 minutes our order was still not 100% complete so he stood there another couple of minutes to get the last taco and brought the food back. As I suspected, my tacos were cold....flavorful, but cold. Now, that would have been fine if what happened next didn't happen. The staff (apparently anxious to close up) literally walked by 3 minutes after we got our food asking us if we were done if they could grab our baskets to clean up. I understand that it was late and you all want to go home, but if you hadn't taken so long to get our dinner together we would have been out faster. Just sayin'. Lucky for us Roanoke puts on a 30 min firework show so we were able to catch the last 10 minutes of it from the Fuzzy's parking lot. I ordered 2 California tacos, and a burrito bowl. Both were heavy handed on salt. I could not eat all of it. Additionally, I said no beans, but the bowl had A LOT of beans. I also said no shredded cheese but there was shredded cheese. At $10/- , each, I was not happy. read more

I ate here for breakfast. Had a chorizo taco, bacon taco, and shrimp taco. All come with egg and cheese for $1.99 each. Very good all around. One thing I wish Fuzzy's would come around to is a salsa and condiment bar. I like to have a choice of mild, medium, hot, or nuke depending on my mood and stomach condition. That is really the only complaint I have about Fuzzy's. Oh, and it has a lot of seating, is clean, and everyone was very friendly. read more

Man this location has had it's ups and downs. Lately they've forgotten to make my food and when they rushed it, the result was poor. The burrito we received was smashed and the last dish had poor quality beef. So far it's a better atmosphere than superior food. I recommend they work on consistency and communication. The cooks seem disoriented at times and not very organized. On the upside, when Kimberly took over as General Manager things really improved. Not sure what changed in the last couple weeks but it needs to get back on track! read more

I'm pretty much addicted to Fuzzy's. I don't eat at restaurants often, but I love their concept and the food is excellent every. damn. time. This is one of their newest locations and I've been pleased with the overall service for being so new. I've dined in and had several to go orders and they are always right. I typically get the chicken salad bowl (the dine in version seems to be a little larger than the to go portion). Last time I splurged for a shrimp taco and a crawfish taco. Crawfish taco = heaven. Crispy crawfish in a light batter with a great little kick to it. Make sure to get a schooner of their Baja Blonde. It's made by Franconia Brewery out of McKinney and at $2.75 is a STEAL. Nice covered patio with fans that I look forward to using once it becomes not so insanely hot. read more

We always found our way over to Fuzzy's in Denton after a evening on the town in Denton. Recently, they have opened several stores closer to us including this one in my home town. Cool "fresh mex" taco shop concept. The soft tacos are awesome, chicken, beef even fish. Big salad is great and really big! I have tried most everything including their big burritos. Chips and real queso not some cheesy concoction. Drinks include fresh brewed tea (a must!), several beers on tap and some various frozen libations. If you like fast Mexican you will like fuzzy's. I'm updating my review from a few months back....this place has stepped up its game!! Sure it's a hole in the wall, but at least they offer good food and good service Fish tacos are excellent. Sorry to say this is my go to here. There's a sign "help wanted" but I guess that means they hire just anyone, and have kids run the registers where she can't seem to understand anything you say, and kids making mixed drinks that have no idea what they are doing. This place has my favorite salads in town! I love the dressing options, especially the avocado ranch. Unlike salads at most places, this one actually keeps me full and I usually can't finish a whole one. It's also a good value and they get you in and out pretty quick even when it looks like there's a long line. They also have a patio, which might be nice for a drink after work. read more

I love fuzzy and decided to make a quick stop to grab dinner while in the area. I ordered nachos and beer, got nachos in about 5 minutes, and 20 minutes for beer. One young guy is running around trying to keep everything together while the rest of staff seems to be all over the place. Alcohol specials on chalk board not in system, making it difficult for the cashier to ring me up. Changed my order, and sat back while kitchen staff seemed to have a disagreement. Pretty mediocre. I went here for lunch and ordered three tacos. The grilled shrimp taco was fine, but pretty flavorless. The grilled fish taco was undercooked and fairly translucent, so I just threw it away. The spicy pork taco wasn't anything special. read more

Rice is hard and seasoned with a can of tomato sauce. Enchiladas=hard tortillas and contain a disgusting cream cheese/cheddar combinations nuked in a microwave and then served. I literally threw up after eating half an enchilada it was that nasty. Black beans=go buy a can of black beans at the store and sprinkle Mexican fresh queso. Tacos=always sprinkled with crispy tortillas. I'd never expect a Mexican to think these are good (and I AM MEXICAN). Once saw a cook come out with handful of frozen food-that says enough to me. You pay for Fuzzy's Taco-you pay for freezer and canned food. I think they can do better. Honestly, the food is good ... when they make it correctly. Whatever you do, do NOT order to go. They will mess up your order every time. We haven't placed a Togo order once without it being made correctly. We always end up having to come back for them to rectify it. The staff will always offer free chips and queso... as if that makes it better. In the past five years we've lived around here and ordered from this location they seem to mess something up. Management should step up at some point and get more efficient staff. read more

Recently, I placed 2 meal orders and a margarita for curbside. When I got home, the margarita was missing and 1 of the meals were wrong (not even close to being right. I'm sure I got someone else's meal). I called and spoke to one of the employees. She told me she forget to give me the margarita. I told her they also gave me a wrong meal. She said she would have the manager call me. Well no one called me and I called on the next day and spoke to the manager. He told me to text the receipts to him and he would credit my CC. I told him I wanted a credit for the margarita and the tip I left because my order was so messed up. He said he would take care of it. I asked him to text me back when he had processed the refund. I never heard back from the manager. 5 days later I spoke to the store owner (he owns several Fuzzys). He told me he was sorry for the issue and would send me a $15 gift card to compensate for the margarita I didn't get and the mess up with one of the meals that was wrong. I emailed the owner 3 or 4 times over several weeks that I hadn't received the gift card and I have not heard anything. I understand not everything goes smoothly all the time but I don't understand the owner not making good on a problem especially since they owe me for the margarita. read more

I have to be REALLY annoyed to write a review. So congrats to Fuzzy's for managing to annoy me enough to bother. I ordered a kids nachos, queso and chips, and a taco dinner to go. As you can see from the pic, the kids nachos were ridiculous. Barely any cheese and they couldn't even be bothered to melt it. We live 8min from Fuzzy's and the food was barely warm when we got to our house. The tacos were so so at best. Queso was decent once I reheated so it was actually warm. Cinnamon churros were also included, too bad they tasted like used deep fat fry oil. I won't bother ever trying this place again. read more

Evidently this location is under new ownership or something to that affect. I have been going there for 6 months or more and today was not good. 4 things have noticeably changed. 1) They have done away with Taco Tuesday! This was my favorite time to go. 2) They also did away with the Lil' Salad. The regular salad is too much and I do not enjoy wasting food. 3) The queso was cold. Not room temperature cold, but cold. 4) They now take your name instead of using a number. I do not care for fast food places that do this. They may be trying to make your order feel personal, but it is difficult to judge when your order will be ready, unless you are behind a group of friends.
