Attempting to discredit my review based on whether I physically walked into the office at every interaction is misleading and irrelevant to the actual issue. The issue remains the same: we paid for what was discussed as a complete diagnostic report specialized for this type of vehicle, and that is not what was ultimately provided. I also want to correct the owner's statement implying that I contacted the business offering to remove my review in exchange for a refund. That is not accurate. After my review was posted, the business directly contacted us and asked for the review to be removed in connection with offering a refund to resolve the situation. As of now, no refund has been received or posted despite that offer being made. I think that speaks for itself. My review was simply my honest experience and opinion regarding the diagnostic/report and communication during and afterward. I'm not interested in arguing online further -- I simply shared my experience honestly.

Mufasa and his staff are highly invasive, deceitful, and the epitome of shady used car salesmen. ​Here is exactly how our process went after purchasing a vehicle through CarGurus: ​Bait-and-Switch Condition: In the listing pictures, the car looked beautiful, in amazing condition, and free of serious defects. However, when our independent transport driver arrived for pickup, he immediately called us because the car looked incredibly beat up. He wanted to document the heavy damage so he wouldn't be blamed. When confronted, Mufasa brushed it off and claimed "they've seen pictures." We were never shown the actual damage on the vehicle we received. ​Abysmal Communication: We filled out an application and were approved immediately, but it took them over a week just to get back to us. ​Shady Contract Add-Ons: They didn't send out the contract for a week and a half (which was their version of "overnight" shipping). When it finally arrived, Mufasa had snuck in a $2,500 warranty that he previously claimed was "included." ​Registration Nightmare: We had to threaten litigation just to get our registration paperwork. Is this too good to be true, I thought to myself? They had it listed for a price that was cheaper than anywhere else in the COUNTRY! This isn't the cheap 6-cylinder Quattroporte, this was the turbocharged V-8! Wow! I called and was very demanding right off the bat because I wanted to see if this was real. It's a dealership in Antioch and they probably don't even have this car, I thought. After I called them, I went in to see it. I drove 1 Hour in traffic and was prepared to be disappointed. I was not! In fact, I was blown away by the car (was in almost perfect shape) and by the professionalism of the dealership. After the test drive, I asked them to take the car to Walnut Creek to have it inspected prior to me negotiating with them. They did so without complaining. Mind you, this is at least a 30 minute drive from where they are and could have easily said no to me. After the inspection, I told them what my mechanic found, and they negotiated for me. I barely had to say anything. They gave me more than I expected including two new front tires, a set of OEM rear brakes and even some money off! These guys are legit. I cannot day enough about my experience there and would recommend this dealership. If I bought a Maserati from here, you can trust that all of their other cars are just as good! In response, the seller became defensive and made an unfounded accusation that I was attempting to flip cars. I explained that I have never sold a car before and was simply trying to gather information as a potential buyer. Despite this, the seller continued to respond in a rude and unprofessional manner, abruptly ended the call, and then blocked me on Marketplace.
