Let me start by saying that I was not sure about this place initially. The reputation of used car dealerships kept playing in my head as I made the first call to them about a 2014 Maserati Quattroporte GTS that I found on Autotrader. Is this too good to be true, I thought to myself? They had it listed for a price that was cheaper than anywhere else in the COUNTRY! This isn't the cheap 6-cylinder Quattroporte, this was the turbocharged V-8! Wow! I called and was very demanding right off the bat because I wanted to see if this was real. It's a dealership in Antioch and they probably don't even have this car, I thought. After I called them, I went in to see it. I drove 1 Hour in traffic and was prepared to be disappointed. I was not! In fact, I was blown away by the car (was in almost perfect shape) and by the professionalism of the dealership. After the test drive, I asked them to take the car to Walnut Creek to have it inspected prior to me negotiating with them. They did so without complaining. Mind you, this is at least a 30 minute drive from where they are and could have easily said no to me. After the inspection, I told them what my mechanic found, and they negotiated for me. I barely had to say anything. They gave me more than I expected including two new front tires, a set of OEM rear brakes and even some money off! These guys are legit. I cannot day enough about my experience there and would recommend this dealership. If I bought a Maserati from here, you can trust that all of their other cars are just as good! I had a chance to talk to the owner and he is a great guy. He's been in the car business a long time and really knows his business. Cheers to you, California Auto Outlet. I walked in and found a car really liked. Got approved in minutes and was able to take the car home and I've always wanted. 1 star because I can't give you zero. Stay away they will try to rip you off. They will lie to you. They will not be in business come next year they are just a come and go business. My experience started off good. I saw a vehicle online and inquired. The salesman was fast to respond, of course I thought it was odd he called me Pal in the email. I had explained what I was looking for and there was a car I was interested in. I told him my budget and he stated he could get me the car for the price i asked. I was happy and couldn't wait to test drive. I started to get an odd feeling so I looked up this company I never heard of. It stated they went into business April 2018. I thought that was a bit odd, but maybe they are a start up business. I had communicated early in the week and requested a car fax. I didn't receive anything so I asked again. I was texted a picture of a car check laying on a table. I stated I would come in Friday to have a look and test drive. All of a sudden the salesman states that he can't do the price he quoted me at. He said his boss said no and that there were other people inquiring about the car. I was pissed off. I was lied to and led to believe I was getting a car at a price that was agreed upon. The salesman said sorry for wasting my time. Then he kept texting me and saying he would throw in an engine warranty for free. Well the car is a 2016 and has a 10 year warranty already. Really do you think I am stupid. I must be for getting involved with this dealership. BUYERS BE WARNED. NO MORALS. read more

Here is exactly how our process went after purchasing a vehicle through CarGurus: Bait-and-Switch Condition: In the listing pictures, the car looked beautiful, in amazing condition, and free of serious defects. However, when our independent transport driver arrived for pickup, he immediately called us because the car looked incredibly beat up. He wanted to document the heavy damage so he wouldn't be blamed. When confronted, Mufasa brushed it off and claimed "they've seen pictures." We were never shown the actual damage on the vehicle we received. Abysmal Communication: We filled out an application and were approved immediately, but it took them over a week just to get back to us. Shady Contract Add-Ons: They didn't send out the contract for a week and a half (which was their version of "overnight" shipping). This place is awesome! I've been to a number of dealerships... this has got to be the most comfortable experience I've had at a car dealership. I step inside the lot and they are quick to greet you .....BUT they don't go into salesman mode quickly like most places do..... GABRIEL- that's the name you want to remember- HANDS DOWN!!! I was interested in a number of SUVs and came down to 2... he was quick to give me comparable numbers to both vehicles, explained what each charge was - nothing was hidden - everything was up front- of course I wanted to see if there was something else he can do to lower the price - he took both cars back to his finance person... and the price DiD lower.... I was amazed how low... well to keep this story short.... Let me explain, when I was looking for a new car I was very explicit in my requirement, it had to be European, space enough for five, etc. Gabe heard me and although it took three weeks we finally found a car that would work. It wasn't European, but when we did the side by side comparison this Japanese vehicle blow the s-class, 750 iL, and Jaguar xj out the water. He listen to me and was not going to but me into anything less than I wanted. Cars would come in and he would say "No Mr. Duncan this car or that car is not for you". I am so much in awe of how professional they are and how solid their word is. I am so pleased with this dealership and amazed at the level of customer service, that I would definitely recommend them anyone. I love, simply love my new Lexus L460. Considering the area that this car dealer is in, your initial reaction would be to avoid this dealer, but once you give it a chance and walk inside the environment, the hospitality is totally worth it. The salesmen are very nice and welcoming, making sure to try their best to get you into a car that you love. California Auto Outlet has a huge variety of cars, so you're pretty much guaranteed to find something that you'll want to take home. Wow!!!! Seriously! Great service, honest and caring! At a dealership? YEP! Gabriel helped me get into a 2012 Chevy Malibu, with my credit, no one would finance me. I couldn't catch a break. I found CA Auto Outlet on the app Letgo. Me and My Daughter went down there and Gabriel and Randi took care of us.
