My favorite burrito spot ever! Everything here is amazing. Personal fav is the baja fish burrito & strawberry fresca. Ofc you have to try their famous fish tacos with fish and mashed potatoes. My brother wanted tacos from here and he ordered via DoorDash. Located off of Trancas in a shopping plaza, there's plenty of parking. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a carne asada burrito, tacos- carne asada, carnitas, and grilled fish. We got the kids a cheese quesadilla. The tacos and meats were just ok. I like my carne asada one but the fish one was a lot of fish and I couldn't even finish it. My brother said his burrito was ok and my sister in law felt like the carnitas and carne asada were kind of dry. Decided to be adventurous and got the Taco Taquiza- their special fried taco with potatoes and fish! lots of differs texture and flavors , all goes well together! WOW ! must try. This is a nice clean taco spot in a shopping mall It's Fast Casual. You order and pick up at te counter. Service was fast. I fancy myself an expert on Fish Tacos. They offer both Baja/Fried and California/Grilled. Both were great. Very authentic. Order with a bit of heat. Chips are made there. I could have had one taco and just eaten chips. I'm glad we stopped for dinner. My son had the Baja Fish Tacos. Large portions of fish. Pico was fresh and had good flavor. He was very pleased. I ordered 1 Oyster taco and 1 Octopus taco. These were delicious. It is easy to overcook oysters in the fryer, not these guys. Moist and fresh, very good. Now the octopus. It had nice grilled flavor and was very tender and moist. Second time in a month I got tacos here that feel apart. Carne asados on super thin, stale tasting taco and a grilled chicken. Both were quite dry and yes, I ordered mild but that use to include a mild sauce. I took them home and went to pick up the taco and it fell apart. I needed a fork in order to eat it. I came here on my lunch break simply out of proximity and my love for fish tacos. I got the combo which included 2 fish tacos (your choice of grilled or fried) and any drink. A salsa bar always catches my attention so I was excited to see one however only lids on the table, no cups. Meaning I'd have to ask which is not my favorite. My order came out quickly and I piled on the pickled onions and salsa. I ate the first taco and it was pretty good. The second one I forked it and only ate the insides which was much more pleasing to me. Like really good! When we are in Napa we make it a point to visit and order the Baja fish tacos(BFT). This is the closest I have found to an authentic BFT Fresh fish, they load up on the toppings which are also super fresh. I make the hubby order other items so we can eat their other items. All were great so don't be afraid to order other items. The employees are very nice and can accommodate requests ( but don't get crazy). Depending on the time of day it can get busy. They have outdoor seating so on a nice day it's a good spot. It could be a bit of a challenge to find so a landmark is Starbucks is right next to them We will be there this weekend... good product to soak up the wine we will be drinking! ! read more

The Baja fish tacos/burrito was recommend to me to try & it did not disappoint. I've had it a few times now and the lack of star was due to it not being consistent on all visits. I got takeout and honestly... it kind of put me in a bad mood. I got tortilla soup, which basically tasted like you standard canned tomato red pepper soup, nothing special. I also got one of their fitness bowls which is basically cabbage, beans, and grilled veggies with fish on top. I wanted salmon but they were out so my boyfriend got me the tilapia. I'm sure as hell not eating tilapia as it's farm raised and full of plastics and toxins. So I had to throw that away. I tried just eating the veggies but there was so much water in the bottom of the bowl the whole thing was really unappetizing. The chips didn't have any salt and were really thick (just not my thing), and the guacamole has nothing in it aside from blended avocados. The person who commented it's like an avocado smoothie was correct. Bland. The best thing I ate was the side of pickled onion that came for free. Super disappointing. I decided to return and actually trying a shrimp taco. I ordered the Baja fish taco and the shrimp taco, spicy. I received my order quickly and they both looked the same as they both have the same toppings. I tried both and to my surprise they were both slightly warm. The fried fish should've been piping hot if it were freshly cooked. The shrimp was not fried, I believe it was sautéed. They were both just okay and there was absolutely no hot spice on either. I really want to like this place but they are making it hard. Aside from me and my option, they had a steady flow of customers. The staff was somewhat friendly and they all seemed to get along as they were all huddled, laughing, talking and joking. So I'm giving this place 4 stars simply for the beer battered fish tacos!! The taqueria is a sMall place but the 1 fish taco I ordered had very fresh ingredients and so good! My expectations from my childhood is that the tortilla would've also been fried , but not many places do that, it was a soft tortilla. The grilled fish taco was lathered in crème fresh so you couldn't taste the fresh ingredients. The fried oysters were just that if you love fried oysters- you will love it! The Taquiza Taco was tasty but a gut bomb. They use flour tortillas. I tend to like my tacos on corn tortillas on the lighter side where you can taste all of the fresh ingredients. Amazing! We took a hike and initially thought breakfast. Thankfully some suggested La Taquiza. We walk in and greeted warmly by the young lady behind the counter. My friends said the reason for their original visit was the fish tacos. They have grilled and breaded Ahi. I found items I'd never before seen at a Taqueria; oysters on the half shell or in a taco, prepared in a variety of ways and a mushroom quesadilla. I always order carnitas tacos a a barometer for quality. I was not disappointed the pork was delicious with a hot sauce. It was moist and had a little crust to the bite. The mushroom quesadilla was filled with meaty, tasty portobello and a wonderful cheese.
