I've been coming to G-Spot for at least four years now for almost every repair I've needed for my 95 Acura Integra GSR. Frankie and his crew just truly care about your car and do great work. Their rates and repairs are very reasonable, too. Frankie isn't going to upsell you on repairs you don't need. In a heartbeat, they are always my first call. Even though they are a busy, busy shop, they always make you feel important, which I appreciate a lot compared to these other shops where you're just another customer. And if you do your homework and check for rates at other shops, there's no doubt which is a better choice if you're on a budget. It's definitely one of my best finds in LA for getting my car repaired on a budget. I've been in two accidents, front end smashed, and they repaired and painted it real clean. Extremely good mechanic service, I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone. They were friendly and reasonably priced. They had spare parts galore that helped the process- instead of just being able to do the work and needing to source the parts from elsewhere, although they definitely can if it's needed. Someone bought a whole engine from them while I was there and others came for body work. They fixed my Honda, but they also work on classic cars and other things like mopeds and whatever else. Frankie & G Spot Auto are THE best. For starters, as far as the price goes, nobody will give you a more honest and fair price than Frankie, head of the shop. Not only will it be honest and fair, but it'll beat all the competitors, that's for DAMN sure!! He even told me that if there were any additional costs, that he would let me know beforehand before proceeding. Frankie and his team repaired my badly dented bumper, and replaced the bumper cover for next to nothing! but check this out, I originally brought my car in for a bumper replacement and some other minor work. When we took a look at the car, Frankie noticed that some rats had chewed up my electrical wires coming from my engine!! I know what you're thinking, yet another automotive repair trying to cash in an extra buck, but this is different. Frankie was legitimately concerned, and even curious as to how my car was still running. He gave me a price on the bumper repair and then included a very solid deal on the electrical wiring. (True story, I parked my car in a garage in DTLA for a while, and I had heard of rats chewing fuel lines and other things for a while, he even found where the rats had brought in paper and constructed a little nest!) In terms of quality of work, there isn't anybody I trust more than Frankie and his team. The job took only a matter of hours, and when I came back to pick it up, I was more than thrilled. In addition to a very professional job, Frankie even hooked it up with some free headlight cleaning! He went through every single detail of what he had done to my car and how it was different than before. There were no surprise fees, no bad jobs, nothing but a quality, honest, and hardworking service. Do not let the crowded space at his shop/workspace fool you! this is top of the line work, as well as getting the most bang for your buck. First and foremost, I rarely bring my car to a garage to be worked on; I am more of a DIY kind of guy. However, my friend recommended this place to me because they previously had work done to his car and they completed his project successfully. That somewhat eased my anxiety of leaving my car at their garage, so I took a chance and allowed them to complete my project. Sad to say, I should not have taken that chance. The Good Communication: 8/10 Frankie was punctual on returning my calls. I would give him a call and he would usually give me an update on what was going on. Knowledge: 7/10 Frankie and his mechanic knew what they were doing. Although my car was a Toyota, they did not hesitate to work on my car. Generally, all cars are alike in a mechanical aspect. They finished my project, but not within the time frame of estimation because of a few setbacks. The Bad Parking: 3/10 It is either a hit or miss to get parking in or outside of the shop. I had to park in the residential area several times and it did not seem safe to me. Duration: 1/10 The project was supposed to take a little over a week. There were a lot of roadblocks because of missing parts. For about 3 weeks, my car was on his lift collecting dust. Without my consent, Frankie took the liberty to custom fabricate one of the brackets that did not fit during the first week, but did not think to custom fabricate another bracket that did not fit until I told him to. The project took almost 4 weeks to complete. Attention to detail: 0/10 I cannot give this a score at all. If I could, I would give an infinitely negative number. Surely, Frankie finished my project, but there was a lot more surprises they left behind that I did not expect to find... 1) Scratches and door dings 2) Paint that damaged my headlights 3) Sticky residue on my windshield 4) Grease on the exterior of the car 5) Grease on the interior of the car 6) Missing bolts and clips 7) Loose bolts I understand that they just wanted to hurry up and get my car out of their garage, but things like loose and missing bolts can be life threatening. My passenger side front control arm was not torqued to spec; The nut was barely holding onto the bolt's last two threads. There was a missing bolt on my clutch pedal assembly. I did not notice until recently when my clutch pedal was squeaking so loudly that I could not bear it anymore. The clutch pedal travel was not 100%. However, I was still able to shift between gears but it makes me wonder how much life my clutch has left. As for everything else that I cannot see with the naked eye, only time will tell. Cost: 1/10 These types of projects typically run for about a grand, but Frankie charged me over 110% of the original estimate. I was not happy at all since there was all those surprises for me to fix. In conclusion, I highly recommend not going to this shop. Save yourself from a headache and look around for another shop. If you want a Pandora's box, be my guest but don't tell me I didn't warn you. read more

Called Frankie and told him what happen and said he had a good used transmission sitting at his shop and even offered to tow the car to his shop. Total turn around time was 2 days which I say was fast because he had a very busy day that day. Also got a exedy clutch and fly and rear main seal while they were in there.
