Service was slow and the food was just ok. First time going to a Gabby's and not sure if I would try them again. The service was really slow and it wasn't that busy. The place looks ok and the atmosphere is good. The food wasn't what it should have been. The couple we went with said they used to go before Covid and it was really good. I guess things have changed. I put a 3 star rating because it's was ok not bad. We had the Parmesan fries (just ok) , pizza and an omelette. The pizza was the best part of the meal.

They also offer Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes. A good bar selection. 18% gratuity automatically added for parties of 8 or more.

We ordered takeout from here to try as we didn't really feel like cooking. Food was ready when we got there and piping hot which is always great. Food: 2lbs of wings in spicy Thai sauce. Wings were quite good. They had a great crunch on the outside, moist inside, decently large. Comes with 2 carrot and 2 celery sticks and ranch dressing. We really enjoyed the wings. French toast and breakfast potatoes. The breakfast potatoes were awesome. Super crispy exterior and soft interior, decent seasoning. The toast was a bit of a letdown, just kind of tasted liked regular toast. Also, we asked for maple syrup and they didn't give us any. Steak fajita - the steak is cooked well though a bit tough. The fried veges were cooking well and had good flavor. The lettuce looked towards the wilting end but the tomatoes and cheese seemed fresh. The guacamole was great, salsa surprisingly lacked flavor. Comes with 4 small-medium tortilla wraps. Price: I will say this is a bit pricier than other pubs but the quality is pretty good.

My new found favourite place. It looks new so sitting there for a long time feels very comfortable. Seats close to the wall have cellphone charging USB port, that's a nice touch. I had fish and chips dinner portion the first time. It was pretty fresh and big 2 pieces, definitely filling. It was a special price with Moosehead beer, I really enjoyed it. Looking at the menu they have special almost daily, so far I've been there 3 times already, will go back again.

I usually avoid chain restaurants as there are so many dining options in the city to explore. However, I found myself at Gabby's due a a friend's request and enjoyed my time here. They have a large open space indoors and a sizable patio also. Service was good but let us chat as we liked. I had an order of onion rings while my partner had their special for the day: fish and chips. Both were well fried and delivered on it's expectation of crunchy goodness. I like that they have daily specials!

When i saw this was opening nearby, I was so excited! I used to go to another location frequently during school. So we decided to come in for an early lunch and so glad we did! The atmosphere is really cool! The layout is easy to navigate and the decor gives good vibes through-out. I loved the lights near the bar (I want to say it's a lit up Gabby's name but I'm not 100 on that). Our server was awesome and so friendly! She was attentive and was quick when we needed anything. The food was good! The Garlic Cheese bread was so soft and literally were so delicious! The Chicken fingers were just alright, nothing to write home about. When I come back I wouldn't order it again. My husband really enjoyed his brisket burger though to the point I didn't even get offered a bite. So it must of been good! We will certainly be back to try out more of the menu and just relax and have a few beers!

I have to start with congratulating the staff that have been assembled here. I had made reservations for a Birthday Party for my Wife, her 40th. Between my emails and phone calls the reservation was confused between a Thursday and Friday. I take partial blame and the Manager accepted blame as well. But amazingly the incredible staff here went above and beyond to accommodate myself and the 11 + people that were on the way. All things considered the staff with only being at their respective jobs for only a week did an amazing job with our party. If there were questions the waitresses did what they could to get the answers as quick as they could. The bartenders did what they could to answer my difficult Whisky questions. I look forward to coming to this establishment more often to enjoy the wonderful meals and good drink selection that they assembled. My only suggestion would be to include some local craft brewery selections on the menu like Common Good or Muddy York. But I guess that would be a corporate decision and not on the local management team. I would like to give a special shout out to Anthony the Manager and Amanda our main Waitress. They went above and beyond the call and made our meal and my Wife's 40th extra special. I am so glad we have a Gabby's near us and look forward to spending much more time here.

First time eating here and went on Monday, half price wings. Went with some friends as they've been many times. We ordered 6 lbs of wings, 3 flavors for each 2 lbs. Honey garlic, Bold BBQ, and salt/pepper. All of the wings were a bit dry but the flavors were pretty good so would give it 3 stars. Service was very good as our server was attentive and helpful with recommending sauces. Overall, good experience and value of food.

Supposed to be ground beef quesadilla & mozarella cheese?
    Sue Y.

It didn't look like what I ordered. Paid extra for ground beef quesadilla. It was thin beef strips with mozarella cheese. Quesadilla's usually come with cheddar cheese. There was tomato slices and green onions just thrown on top of the slices. Worst Quesadilla's I have ever tried. No taste. It was a BOGO promo through UBEREATS and wasted my money. UBEREATS didn't even reimburse my money. Had to throw it away. Super disappointed because it was the first time, Gabby's food was such a disappointment. If you're craving quesadilla's one night..DON'T ORDER FROM GABBY'S.!!

Came here on the 30th day of the month during the 30th anniversary of Gabby's. So what's the big deal(s) then? Well, order a 5 ounce glass of house red or white wine for $3.98 or a 30th appetizer platter for $7.89 today. Additionally, wings are half-priced on Monday and on Wednesday. My friend and I each ordered a single (9) wings, shared a platter and sipped on red wine. A delicious meal! Our server Justine was friendly and made our first dining experience at this new location terrific.

Jumbo shrimp were grilled over charcoal. They were very fragrant & pretty tasty. It came with 3 (!) sides. Rice was good - fluffy & spiced with a noticeable cumin flavour. It was not salty despite its look. Batata Harra (spicy potatoes) were good: a bit crispy. The dish also came with bread (for the baba ganoush, maybe) so don't overload on carbs with your choice of sides. The bread was a bit old & pre packaged but I just took it as a bonus anyway. The baba ganoush itself was decent. Portions are big here. If you choose mixed vegetables they're just tossed with olive oil and garlic. The red sauce on the side was slightly spicy - more tart. It was good too. You can get whole fish sold by weight here too. They have some Middle Eastern drinks, like Mirinda Green Apple from Egypt & Mirinda Citrus from Saudi Arabia.

Now I can go to heaven, in peace. Place is small, and waiting for a table is de rigor. We placed our name in the Google waitlist, then waited another hour to be seated on Friday night. Based on reviews, got the Singapore chili crabs with the king oyster mushrooms (under the crab it soaked up all the goodness), spicy clams garlic veggies and the beef in black pepper/garlic. All were well done, the veggies had great wokhai, met with appreciation at the table. Clams and crabs were spicy for some and ok for others (our table was Cantonese and Korean). Crab was delicious, and the sauce called for rice to be mixed in after the crab was done. It filled us, but not too much. Next time we might try other sauces, but the Singapore chili sauce was killer. Totally worth the money and the hassle. In a mall full of other restaurants this place was the busiest. Very cute decor and free ice cream!

The royalty opts for bone-in cuts of pork that feature the perfect amount of intramuscular fat, rendering it ultra-tender, moist and indulgent. The crust is heavily caramelized with a robust, glossy sweet-savory char siu glaze that beautifully balances sweet and savory. One bite past the glassy, crisp exterior of the tofu, and you'll be addicted, too. You'll find a silky-smooth, tender interior seasoned with the magic of garlic powder. Next, house-made silver needle noodles are addictively chewy and tossed in a fragrant oil synthesized from cured pork lard and dried shrimp. These are trending times for this trio of shrimp rolls. Try the traditional take, or turn to the crispy touch of the lacy, crispy fritter-like batter that shatters with an addictive crisp, not overshadowing the sweet bounce of the shrimp. In another wispy nest of crispy batter, innovation takes the form of crisp shrimp and sweet canned peaches, which punch me with a hit of nostalgia when dipped in the fruity, sweet salad mayo. The taro dumplings don't overload on grease despite being deep-fried, and the creamy, silky taro envelops a savory filling of pork and chives. Serve these BBQ Pork Buns at any bakery, and be prepared for a snaking line long before you open. The steamed bun is grounded in tradition: a pillowy, soft white dough filled with glazed BBQ pork. Contrastingly, the golden bun is fluffy and airy, topped with a sweet, crisp pineapple exterior that is just one of the pleasures of this bao. It's packed with tender char siu - sweet and rich with umami from red fermented beancurd - and elevated with crunchy pine nuts and subtle acidity from pineapples. Also balancing sweet and savoury are the salted egg yolk lava buns; their carefully balanced contents are dangerously molten. Continuing with the classics, the colossal shrimp dumplings command the centre with noble courage. Created from the conventional, lard-infused wrapper that's resilient yet translucent, holding up the chunky shrimp filling that's fresh, crisp, and naturally sweet. Their top-tier Siu Mai takes the amalgam of land and sea to another level. Also oversized, it delivers a juicy pork umami, bouncy sweet shrimp and earthy shiitake savoriness, finally finished with dried scallops. In support of the steamed set of salivating servings, the collagen-rich chicken feet fall right off the bone; Chiuchow dumplings bring emphasis to peanuts, minced chicken, chives and water chestnuts; and the spinach dumpling is a standout choice even for meat-lovers. Dessert was barely on our minds as we went too overboard - understandably so - from the get-go, so pace yourselves.
