Good boba place to try! They close at 12am which is great for a late night sweet drink. The bad part is that there is only one table for indoor seating with two seats. The pretty place is small as well. It's not greatly organized and doesn't have the best decorations. I got a brown sugar boba drink and it was good. The drink itself wasn't heavy and it wasn't too sweet. The boba itself was nice and chewy. The service was okay. I ordered through the kiosk so there wasn't any customer service other than receiving my drink. But the drink didn't take long to make. Overall, a good place to grab some boba.
There are many boba spots in the International District and this one is a good one. It's a really small spot with it being basically a counter you order at and that's it. They have plenty of drink options. I appreciate them doing what they could to make the space inviting with what they had to work with. You order through a kiosk so not a ton of service. The drinks are good though and they hit the spot. I would say that the main appeal of this spot is the fact it stays open until midnight which makes this place a great option for when you're hanging out with friends.
Tried the QQQ milk tea. The milk and tea was a good balance. The boba, grass jelly, and pudding all tasted great. Service was fast. You order at the kiosk and the drink gets made. It was a small shop so no place to sit
A great little dessert after Honeycourt. With a kiosk & 1 worker, the service went pretty fast. It wasn't busy, maybe a handful of people. The drink was delicious. I can actually taste the tea in the drink & not just powder and milk. Place is small so when it's busy, might have to wait outside. Will be back again!
I had to come back! The only time I ever get to drink Gaga Tea is on Fridays because of their hours. They're open Monday-Thursday from 5 PM-12 AM, Friday-Saturday from 12 PM-2 AM, and Sunday from 12 PM-12 AM. Since I work in Seattle during the weekdays and I'm never really in the area on weekends, Friday is literally my only chance. My friend told me to try the cheesy avocado drink and I was very skeptical at first... but it was actually really good. They leave the avocado chunks in, and the boba they use complements the drink perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised. I do wish they opened every day at 12 PM it would be way more convenient for people... but honestly, my wallet would probably suffer . As for service, it's self-ordering, and there's usually one worker there. They're helpful if you ask questions, but if you try to make small talk, they might look a little confused about why you're talking to them lol
Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #97 I finally had a chance to visit Gaga Tea recently - their hours aren't that convenient since I'm usually in the CID on weekdays for lunch when they don't open until 5PM. On the flipside, they close pretty late (Midnight or 2AM, depending on the day), so it's definitely more of a late-night boba kind of place. In terms of the shop itself, it's tiny. There are only two seats inside, a kiosk to order, and a small waiting area. Given the hours, I assumed it would be an evening hangout spot, but that's obviously incorrect. Pearl Milk Tea, Roasted Oolong Tea, Less Ice, 50% Sweet ($5.25) - They add so much creamer into this drink that it's very powdery, almost to the point of being gritty. The flavor of the creamer almost completely covers up the taste of the tea, relegating the tieguanying, very slightly grassy and roasty, to the very end of the aftertaste. There is definitely way too much creamer in the drink. At least less ice is appropriate and at 50% sweet, it's pleasant and not overwhelming. The boba is actually quite good. Smooth sphere, slightly sweetened, plenty of bounce and a good chew level. I would love to see the boba soaked in a stronger brown sugar or honey mixture, but I can't really complain given the price. There's not much more I can ask for from a boba shop like this. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Gaga Tea definitely has a place in the boba landscape of Seattle. Gaga Tea is such a cute and tiny boba shop in Seattle's Chinatown. It features an endearing duck theme, and its drinks are quite good. You can order using the kiosk right in front of the entrance or directly at the register if you'd rather pay with cash. It's definitely not a sit-down type of spot; there's only a small table to the left of the entrance. DRINK: Beat the F* Girl (4/5) - Literally only got this because of the interesting name (lol). It's a strawberry-flavored fruit tea that was really refreshing. I added lychee jelly to it, and I thought that paired nicely with the drink. A little on the sweeter side, so I would try to adjust that next time. I enjoyed this, but I must preface that I am a simple girl who enjoys most fruit teas after a heavy meal. SERVICE: Didn't really interact with the staff directly because my friends and I ordered at the kiosk. However, since the shop is really small, we had a nice view of them making our drinks behind the counter. They were super efficient, and our drinks came out almost immediately after ordering. TLDR// Cute, duck-themed tea/boba shop in Seattle's Chinatown. I would return for a fast, refreshing drink in the adorable cups (pictured) if I'm ever back in the area.
Small shop with only a couple seats and super quick service. You order at a kiosk then they call your number. Also I think the price is really good for the serving size Crema jasmine tea with boba: 4/5. The I thought the drink was good but the jasmine flavor isn't very strong. if you want a stronger jasmine flavor, the milk tea is probably a better choice
Stumbled upon this small bubble tea shop so decided to try it. There's a variety of drinks and you order on a kiosk, the person working didn't really interact with us at all and there's little to no seating. When we went there wasn't a wait and our drinks came out pretty quickly. I ordered a green tea with cream and boba. The drink was delicious and the boba was alright, not my favorite. Overall I would go back and just not order boba.
Food: got the green grape green tea slush with 50% sugar. I wish they had a 75% sugar option but it was still good and had both those flavors. Service: there's a self service screen at the front where you order. Ambiance: it's a cute place with limited seating.
Overall: B // 4 stars Stopped by this tea joint just conveniently across the street from the Seattle Pinball Museum. They got a cute cup with intriguingly refreshing flavors like Strawberry Lemon Green tea which works well given the syrups they have. These drinks could be elevated to the next level with some fresh fruit or garnish. The teas were really tasty and seemed to be made with good quality ingredients. I also loved the duck theme and decor, though I don't fully understand it. It's mostly grab and go with nowhere to really sit inside. The staff were great about answering questions but the drinks took maybe a little more time than expected. I mostly picked mine because it looked tasty and had an interesting name. Would come back!
Food - i'm always looking for black sesame stuff, and theirs is REALLY GOOD! prob one of the best i've tried. might be my go-to spot for black sesame, but because of how good this drink is i would def come back and try other drinks. Service - friendly. just placed our order & got our drinks. Ambiance - not much in the way of ambiance. standard chinatown boba spot. more of a order & go kind of place. but cute neon light inside & you can get a magnet of this adorable duck.
Wowzer, a boba place that opens till 2am?? Yes please :) Located next to the popular late night spot of Purple Dot, this cute lil unassuming tea shop can easily be missed if it wasn't for the catchy name or the duck. Came here with friends and overall, the experience was pretty pleasant. For the ordering, you can order via the kiosk or with the staff. Do note that this is a grab and go place with no seating/ tables available. Wait time for the drinks was minimal and prices are pretty reasonable. I ordered the roasted oolong tea with the grass jelly; regular sugar and no ice. Taste wise = very strong tea flavor and not too sweet at the regular sugar level. Grass jelly had a nice texture and its slight bitterness went well with the tea. I'll have to visit this place again and try more of their specialty drinks! read more
Walked by this small boba shop and decided to stop by, around 12:30 on a Saturday. There were two people who walked out, and the shop was empty when I came in. I looked at the menu which had many standard drinks at a pretty good price ($4-$6) at least for Seattle. They have a cashier and a self order screen (which I missed initially). I placed my order with the cashier, for a milk tea with boba, 50% sweetness and less ice. My drink came out very quickly, and packaging was very cute. The drink tasted good, the 50% sweet was a good sweetness for me. The tea aspect tasted good, and the boba was fine, on the firmer side. I prefer a touch more chewy and soft but this definitely was not bad. Overall a good drink at a good price! Will be back, and will probably try a different topping! The shop has one small table to drink there for those interested. read more

This place is opposite Honey Court on Maynard Ave in Chinatown, and because of that you'll need to make a beeline for street parking around the area if you're driving. The interior is very small and there's no seating, and a lit-up logo of the place is to your right the moment you walk in. The menu has a selection of milk tea, fruit tea, sweet milk and crema drinks, and you order through the kiosk or with the cashier up front. I didn't have to wait very long for my drink, and prices were very decent compared to other places around the area. I grabbed the QQQ milk tea, which had pearls, pudding and grass jelly. There did not seem to be any options for subbing regular milk with oat or almond milk on their menu and I forgot to ask, so I got the drink as it was with lower sugar and ice levels. Taste was great as the toppings added the extra different flavor that balanced out the expected bitterness of the milk tea. I'll come back another time to try another one of their drinks, probably late at night on a weekend as well! read more

Right in the middle of Chinatown so parking will be tough! Small place but clean. Easy to self order. Drinks came quick. You can adjust sugar and ice. Lots of options for toppings. A good tea compared to the chains around the area. Would def come back! Also super cheap compared to other tea places! read more
First time trying this place, I got the earl grey pudding milk tea. And tbh the tea was a little too floral fragrance to me. It was like drinking perfume I was not used to it. But that's just my opinion, as far as service it was decent. I don't think it was as friendly as the worker should be. She wasn't rude or anything but the customer service was not friendly or outgoing serving the customer. And as far the shop wise it is small but clean. Soft opened! Lil shop with a counter to order at a kiosk or from a human. No sitting space, a to-go vibe but it works bc in a great location if wandering the ID area anyways! For milk/regular non-fruit tea you can choose from roasted oolong, jasmine green, or earl grey as the base. The tea itself had good flavor! Adjustable sweetness and ice levels. Boba was cooked well, and pudding had a good flavor! Note: no cheese foam options as of 6/13 as they're still trying to nail down a recipe. Didn't ask about other toppings or drinks from what we ordered. So tbh I would usually give a 3-4 star from this experience, but don't want to start their page with low ratings when they're so new! Trying out this new boba shop and it was pretty good. Ordered jasmine milktea no ice full sweetness and turned out that was perfect.. pretty floral tea fragrance. Bobas were soft and chewy. The plus point is they open very late. Will definitely coming back to try other items on the menu. read more

Stumbled here after a dinner at Hong Kong Bistro. We wanted dessert after and this was two stores down. We weren't sure how this boba place would be, but me and my friends haven't stopped talking about how good it was. We go to GAGA every time we're in ID. The service is a bit slow, but only it's because it's usually 1 or 2 people at the counter so please give them some grace. The place is SUPER small so you can't hang around with your friends. I would def recommend this place because it's one of the better tasting bobas in this area!! read more

The cashier was really nice, and when we asked him for recommendations, he said he likes the Pudding Milk Tea so that's what my dad got. I got the Gaga Milk Tea to be on brand for trying a new spot It was really good! He also mentioned green tea is his go-to -- which I agree -- and so we each got green tea. I also love the duck logo they have for the shop, it's what made me stop and take a look at the menu. I would definitely come here again, and I love that they're open till late. A lot of other boba shops close earlier, so if you're ever craving late night boba, Gaga Tea is here for you till 12! Pudding Milk Tea: Green Tea, Pudding, 50% sweet. Do not support this Boba shop! I'm also going to leave a review here due to google temporarily suspending Gaga Tea reviews because a high number of suspicious 5 stars reviews. Which I'm guessing the owners are trying to make themselves look good. Once it clears I'll post the same comment which I'm about to do here. As I was reading the negative Google reviews that clearly state a female employee who is disrespectful and doesn't know what customer service is, I believe she's either the owner's daughter or sleeping with the owner?! I was here last week. I came in, opened the door, which was very light, so it didn't shut all the way. The same female worker, who was busy on her phone, got up, walked over to the door, and closed it. Didn't greet or say anything, but her face was clearly upset! I apologize for it because I didn't know the door was so thin. She didn't say anything, so I just went ahead and ordered from the touch screen. The entire time I was waiting for my drink, I could feel her nasty energy, and when she was done, she just left it on the counter without saying anything. Went back to her chair and continued texting. I grabbed my drink and left. Fast forward, Friday, December 12th, I decided to try this place again, thinking last time was an off day. When I walked in, it was the same employee (around 3:00 - 4:00 pm), and the same thing happened: she didn't greet me, just looked irritated that she had to serve customers. I went to the touchscreen and ordered my drink--regular milk tea with lychee jelly. As I'm waiting for my drink, I can see that the lychee jelly container is empty. She was trying to scoop as much out as she could, but was too lazy to refill it, so I'm left with two tablespoons of lychee jelly. Remind you that add-ons are a dollar each for topping. The same thing happened when she was done with my drink: she just left it on the table without calling the order or even saying thank you! By now, I'm seeing all the reviews pointing out to this employee that the owner clearly hasn't addressed her stank attitude, yet continues to let her work. That's a slap in the face to us customers! No way I am coming back to this shop ever again! Taking my money somewhere else that deserves it more! read more
