    Chips and salsas

The staff here were super friendly, and though there seemed to be a few crossed wires between the staff, everyone was nice and handled it well. The food was fresh and flavorful, I especially liked the hot hot salsa. The drinks (micheladas) were great, hot sauce not clamato! We sat at the bar to beat the heat, which was comfortable and the bartender was sweet. I'm happy to see this place has bounced back!

I had an annoying headache so I needed to eat something hearty in a walking distance. Galaxie was on the next block so just randomly picked a burrito and SO GLAD I DID! Their chicken burrito was $10 and worth every penny! The ingredient that stood out the most was the flavor of the chicken. It's was shredded and so good. My headache went away after this food! Will be back for a dine-in when I'm in the area soon!

Everytime I come I sit at the bar because I love the view of the outside. The food here is amazing, the fish and veggie tacos are my favorite. My absolute favorite is the chips and Rojo salsa above all. I love Galaxie, it's my neighborhood go-to spot.

Love their salsas and happy hour. Great place to come with our toddler, who likes to play on their patio and draw with the chalk they keep on hand. Also they are just incredibly kind to our dog Tony who can be kind of dramatic in the heat. We didn't mention anything at all and look at the bag of ice they brought him lol so sweet

Truly, a cultural Latin oasis featuring flavors directly from Oaxaca and Mexico City. The staff in front and back of the house work feverishly to get every detail of the experience perfect. Tommy's margarita is infused with orange bitters elevating this libation to fiesta level. Tried it frozen in a 16 oz pour. The corn tortillas are house made with the main ingredient coming from Oaxaca. These came out warm and emanated a fresh salivating aroma. This is a great discovery and I can't wait to come back and try the steak tortas.

Out strolling and came across a taco place. A great outdoor space and bartender was friendly. We got drinks to go since we just were out and about. Saw some friends leaving and they said they enjoyed their meal. We will be back so I can update once we eat. But the drinks were strong and even came with kids to walk out with. No spillage while walking!

Great shots straight grok Mexico City, the owners let us try them. Greats margs as well

New tacos on the menu, I came, I saw, I conquered! Love it here! Best happy hour in the city

Great tacos! Homemade tortillas. Reasonable price and great atmosphere. Quick service too.

Second visit in 2 months, and both experiences my order was "lost" leading to 40-50 minutes of wasted time. First time, I placed my order at the table using the QR code. They gave my order to the wrong table. Second time, I placed my order inside at the kiosk with staff thinking it would be safer but was wrong. Decided to give it a second chance bc they gave me a free shot to make up for it. The second time, it was 3pm on a quiet Saturday without that many people there. Maybe 10 more parties come after me, small groups or couples. Everyone else gets their order within 10-15 min. They gave me my drink, but then the waitress took my number away even though I'm still waiting for food and watching everyone else get theirs. Then 50 minutes goes by until I check in and follow up, the staff acts completely shocked when they walked me many times and even tried to give me someone else's order who probably arrived 20-30 min after I did. All tacos were cold and bland without any flavor. Tacos tasted store-bought. The frozen drink and outdoor seating are the only redeeming factors. Not coming back. So many other better places nearby with far better service.

I avoided this place like the plague for many years! Anytime I asked a friend that had eaten here what they though of the food the opinions were always the same "over priced", "pretentious hipster staff", "food is ok but not worth the price" so you can see why avoided it; that is until Pablo Reyes took over the kitchen. I've had Pablo's food a few times and I am happy to report that Galaxie is in good hands. The happy hour menu is tasty and light highly recommend the tostadas. Cocktails are solid, the frozen mango Margarita was excellent. My favorite thing on the menu was the torta took me right back to the street food stalls of Mexico city. The Birria tacos "puro fuego"! Great to have to have another chill place near my house to enjoy some tacos.

Great food great drinks! Service is kind, easy ordering and super fast when it's not busy atleast I came and it seems slower. Good music and lots of seating out and in door! And they have thc drinks!?

I'm not sure about parking as I walked to the brewery on my recent visit. This brewery has a great feel that hearkens back to a cozy neighborhood pub - eclectic seating divided between a couple of rooms with a small bar and a simple setup including around 9-10 taps. I felt right at home. Flights included four 5 ounce pours for $19. Food is mostly supplied by Shift Kitchen but you're basically invited to bring in anything you want. I tried the following: * 90s Women's Power Ballads - IPA - New England / Hazy 6.6% ABV - Pretty decent hazy NEIPA, Guiyang body with notes of citrus, finishes hoppy and a touch floral. 4/5 * Tenant - Bitter/Best 4.1% ABV - Very nice sweet malty bitter, notes of toasted bread, slightly toasted peanut, finishes appropriately dry and somewhat mildly bitter. 4/5 * Mr. Words Is A Monster - Pilsner/Other 5.5% - Interesting XPA, crisp body, hint of orange peel finishing hoppy, hint of pine and black pepper. 4/5 * I Am A Donut - Sour - Berliner Weisse 4.2% - Light bodied sour, fruity body with notes of sweet mango. 4/5 * Notice Me Senpai - Porter - Imperial / Double 8.1% - Tasty porter with notes of dark chocolate, English toffee and roasty coffee, almost creamy body finishing dry. 4/5 In general all the beer I indulged in were good, I think this is probably the best brewery I tried in my recent trip to New Orleans. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions. I could tell this was a local spot - I engage in conversation with a few of the patrons and they mostly lived nearby. This is a top-notch hangout with a great local vibe.

Overall, the service felt more like it got the job done rather than being welcoming or engaging. We ordered a few items to try, including the Who Dat Shrimp, wings, and a cheeseburger with fries. The Who Dat Shrimp were my favorite. They had a perfect crisp, and the sauce on top was really good. The wings also had a nice flavor, but they weren't tossed in the sauce as stated on the menu. Unlike most breweries, I don't think Courtyard has a signature beer, there are no standards Jucifer or Paradise Park. They just make new stuff all the time, then run out of it, and brew something else. I think I have seen Sonic Youth in 1983 there more than once so maybe that's the closest thing. Regardless I am saying this as a good thing because every time I go, there is something knew. Courtyard is like the ultimate dive bar of breweries. There is a pop-up style kitchen that has held a variety of eateries over the years that used to include Burger Nerds and now has a taco place. There is mismatch furniture throughout the indoors and front courtyard. Most of the seating looks like they robbed a daycare.
