I am a frequent customer of this place. I took it this morning and when I got my keys back there was a button pushed all the way in on my key fob. When I got home my car alarm randomly went off 3 times and when I went to turn it off I noticed the damage. I drove back to talk to the man that took my car in the morning only to be told there is nothing that they will do except have some guy he wouldn't name fix it for me. I had already called the dealer and been told it's not fixable and would need to be replaced. The guy told me he would take my name and number and have the owner call me. I asked for the owners information and was told he couldn't give me even their name. I asked that I be contacted by Monday after noon and I was given a very rude response and told to leave. I will never return to this place and have already contacted a lawyer. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!

Car was not vacuumed right, the seats were left super dirty and again not vacuumed. They left black paste Outside of the car. Door handles from inside were also not cleaned. For $ 50 I expected the car to be cleaner.

Leaving a review bc while I was sitting here waiting for them to finish up, I started reading some really bad ones and thought "damn i fucked up". But before I left, I inspected the car and they left it GREAT (paid for package #4) I'd come back, sorry to those who didn't experience the same.

Came here today 10/02/2021 because the line was a lot shorter than normal. And I did not feel like waiting endlessly for a wash. To be honest with you all the $6 drive they washes down a better job than this!!!! Almost sure. Service is whatever. Sub par. No pricing listed anywhere. It's like they expect you to know what you want and expect you to know the pricing. Sino said I just wants a wash which seems to come with full cleaning inside and out and armor all on tires for $20 SUV price I would say wow not bas! Sign me up!!! The end results not so much. Hated ittttttt!!!! Will never come back to this place. Well I will give them two stars a for the vacuuming and wiping down of the Interior. However the rest was garbage. Basura. Windshield completely foggy and smudgy. Outside trim, mirrors, grill, lights. All dirty and water stained. The roof. It's like they don't own a ladder or something at this wash and they didn't even try to clean the roof. I mean for everyone 5 feet and under, they will never know. However I am 6'2" and as soon as I got home I saw the garbage of a wash I got for $20 plus tip. Just look at the pics. Go at your own risk. Do a good walk through before you leave. Although, if needed, they really do not have a way to get your car back into the wash area anyways like other places may be able to. I will skip this place and just hit the $6 drive thru, prob a much cleaner result. Almost guaranteed!!!

Package of $25 for a exterior wash, vacuum carpets, clean mats, and wipe seats. I emptied everything in my car so they could vacuum easily. Long lines on a early Monday morning, wait for my car was about an hour. Would I come again, probably not. Workers seemed nice but very tired out.

A trusty hand carwash and fast service. The workers are very professional and polite. I am very specific on what I want cleaned good in my car and they did just exactly that. The location is small enough that you can see every detail. They also use very professional products and towels. They don't reuse towels ! I love that take the time to wipe down doors and blow out water from small tight areas. I will definitely be back bi-weekly.

I just spent $25 and they said I was cheap

This car wash is by far the best out there, my sister recommended this place and I haven't gone anywhere else since, the manager is extremely attentive and nice making sure the car is washed properly. The employees themself are amazing as well I've never had a complaint, every time I come in they leave my car feeling brand new. If you're in the area I do recommend you stop by, it does get busy but it's because the service is great! Overall happy with Galaxy Auto Detail, the service and the employees! read more

Most car washes were closed , due to rain I was going out of town the second day . Needed to clean my car before I left to drop it off my friends . They took good care of me got of there way to clean my car . Not only that . They did a great job inside out . Didn't really care about outside coz it was raining . Turn back around. This place isn't what it used to be. They do a half ass job and leave water residue on your car. Take your money elsewhere. Took my brand new X5 only to find a little hairline scratch on the passenger rear door. It's small and not that noticeable but it's there. read more

I live in montebello and I drive all the way to Downey for this place. Great prices and great work, nice workers. They have an early bird special but even a basic car wash is still a good price. My job has a lot of trees and they blew them out for me. The place I used to go to in montebello just left them there. I went during the afternoon and I expected to wait a long time like my old place but I didn't wait long at all. I'm definitely gonna come back, it's worth it. read more

I want to give this place minus 5. We decided to have breakfast at ihop. Next door is a car wash, my car needed to get washed. I told the guy what I wanted done, he say "yes,yes". I told him we would be next door eating. Had a wonderful breakfast. Went to pick up my car. First it was not in the parking lot go into the office and they tell me they parked it next door at CVS. What the hell. I had to walk a 1\4 mile to my car!!!! They didn't even offer to bring it to me or at least park it at the ihop parking lot. Checked my car it was half ass vacuum. Never never never again!!!!! read more

what has time done to you??? never mind!!! you got old and tired!!! wrong line of business. customer service is key and will remain key. thanks for charging me 45.00 for washing my navigator, promissing to take water spots out and when you couldn't do it, wanting another 50.00. shame on you and the poor job on my car. now i understand why another customer was arguing with you when i got there. jr's be aware, your shop is wasting away. maybe you haven't had a chance to drive around downey to see what your competition is doing...also a common practice...auto detail at your home for a fraction of what you charge. thanks, but no thanks. read more

Went on a Sunday morning at approximately 10am. There were about 5 cars being serviced in a small, but efficiently used area. It took me about 25 mins to get a full service hand wash, including application of spray wax. Two men dried, detailed the interior, and applied the liquid wax. I am reasonably picky, and felt the car was very clean. The total cost was $17 + tip. I will definitely visit again! read more

Worst 10 min carwash ever!! So glad they didn't convince me to buy the $30 wash. My 4 year old nephew could of vacuumed and detailed my car way better! Such a sloppy job for my first carwash on my new car. i sure won't be back nor recommend this place!!! read more

Let's face it, I'm not a teenager anymore and cleaning my car is no longer fun. Having said that I still love a clean car and have tried many car washes. I have to say given the looks of this place you would never believe that they do a excellent car wash but they DO!!!! I'd recommend this car wash!!! read more

I honestly been considering not coming any more, nvr again will I go back. Don't waste ur money on a 20 wash they do everything same and will treat u wrong because ur young and have a nice car. Gave them another chance and I regret it. I have water stains all over my 2016 it's ridiculous. read more

It's on the smaller side for a car wash but they get the job done. Service is good and prices are reasonable. It's been under new ownership for some months now. They offer complimentary cold bottled water to their customers. And, of you're hungry there's plenty of restaurants nearby so you can go grab a bite while your car gets pampered. IHOP is literally right next door and you have Downey Gateway and Porto's a short walk away. Average wait time is between 45 min - 1 hr. I love that they use the air hoses to get all the water out of any crevices. Good job guys! read more

I get my car washed here every week for their early bird special. If you're in a rush get there a little before 8am. I did that and I was car #5. They wash the car very well, in and out. Keep in mind that it's not that dirty to begin with. Considering I don't have any children and get it cleaned often. read more

****** WORST CARWASH********** I was told by a family member not to go there because the service was bad she paid for a detail ($100)and they did a horrible job on her car , vents still full of dust , cup holder dirty and to top it off it was obvious they rushed the shampoo job inside the car up to this date her car has a very strong shampoo smell . Anyways I decided to take my car despite what she told me , I chose the $38 wash . I told the manager who took my car in . I haven't been able to wash my car for over a month , I really hope you guys do a good job . So he said it's a very busy day today we have no time for complaints . That got me upset but I left it alone . When I got my car back I was even more upset vents dash ..steering wheel area still full of dust .. cup holder dirty and the vacuum job was horrible . The inside windows and windshield were not cleaned , I purposely made a white mark on my windows and the mark was still there . I regret going there and I will never go there again . This people careless about you're business. Think twice about coming to this place !! read more

Only $9 on Mondays through Thursdays between 8am and 10am. That's a great deal. The only down part is that they are very busy so expect to wait for awhile. But it's well worth it because they do a decent job. I came here at 8am and there were about five cars in front of me. I was out in about 1hour. So yeah, it did take time but I would come back again for their great service. read more

Well, where can I begin.. I mean if you're looking for a place to get a really good & detailed car wash this is the place to go!! They do a really great job! Small family run car wash but they do a fantastic job. I got a hand wax done to my car and they left it looking super sexy. Here they pay close attention to detail where as most other car washes don't. I was happy to see they didn't leave any wax residue between door crevices etc. I found my new home for getting my car washed read more

I've been getting my car washed here for 2 years. Jimmy is wonderful,and I always leave a happy customer. Last week I got my car detailed and couldn't be happier. I got a great price and even water stains along the side of my car are now gone. Jimmy also did me a favor and cleaned my baby's car seat, which was probably dirtier than the rest of the car. 2 year olds!! :) Thank you jimmy! read more

My first time coming here and I am leaving extremely satisfied ! The exterior of the car is really well done! But they left the inside looking brand new and shiny !! I have 2 toddlers and let me tell you, my inside was a hot mess! But after coming here my suv looks brand new!! I am really really satisfied with this car wash! I never take the time to comment on places but I've extremely disappointed especially because the owner is a great person to talk to and you would think that would better your vehicle services. I've gotten my car washed 3 times and unfortunately, a bag of shoes and shirt was stolen and NOBODY came forth to admit they took it. Secondly, I payed $20 to get my carpet shampoo and doors cleaned, my carpet wasn't shampooed and wasn't properly vacuumed at all!! This crap just irritates me, don't get me wrong I'm sure they do a good job with other cars, but they rush it too much so I'm no longer coming here again. read more

I used to come here as a kid with my dad. I dont know if they're the same owners but they still do a good job detailing your car. My 2005 car now looks like a 2012 car! Will stop by here again This location is by the train tracks and not too far from Warren. read more

Went there this morning and got a Hand wash and hand wax in under 30 minutes! First time here and the staff was friendly and helpful. I checked the car after they were done and every thing was clean and dry. They use an air hose to get the water out of the nooks and crannies so you don't have those annoying spots by the time you get home! read more

After my most recent wash, there were still visible dirty areas left behind around the lower panels, wheel well area, and rocker panel area. I also found remaining spots on the paint afterward, including tar residue and bird dropping residue that should have been addressed during the wash. I understand that no car wash will be perfect every time, but when paying for a hand wash, I expect the obvious exterior areas to be checked before the vehicle is returned. The lower panels and splash zones are exactly where dirt builds up, and those areas seemed rushed or overlooked. The staff has been fine, but the final result has not matched what I would expect from a paid hand wash. At this point, I'll likely look elsewhere or use a professional detailer for exterior care because I'm trying to protect the paint on a newer vehicle.

I want to thank Jay who helped people the day I went. The facility was clean and organized, so I felt very comfortable about coming here. They are next to car wash and a gas station. Also, Stonewood Mall is across the way too. The had coffee and snacks, I loved that they had Kirkland coffee pods, oh heck yea. The waiting area is not huge but enough. Jay was very knowledgeable and helpful; I overheard him helping people out. As far as value, I felt I got a good value, as I was shopping around. I was given a time estimate, and a time estimate if I wanted additional service and they were very good about meeting that. Truly disappointed with this location. Lorenzo, the service advisor tried to charge us $25 for the…read morebrake inspection upon initial arrival. When I pointed out the banner at their shop that says "Free Brake Inspection" and their website which states Free Brake Inspection, he retorted that their website also states they do free smog checks, but he states they do not even do smog. (When relooking at their website, they do not mention free smog anyways.) Lorenzo stated the brake inspections were not free and the website got it wrong. When I asked him for the person in charge he stated Erika and Ezekiel were in the parts dept. It is a shame Lorenzo was the only advisor handling a long line at check in. He stated Corporate was aware of the brake inspection charge discrepancy. If they are aware and he is aware, why try to charge a customer for a "Free" brake inspection? After leaving our car here, we heard the next day of a list of repairs needed. Lorenzo stated they believed our brake caliper was seized but could not confirm it. He attempted to charge us an additional $289.47 for the brake caliper service and $152.10 for the brake fluid service in addition to the brakes and rotor replacement service charge we were expecting. The issue is that when we asked Lorenzo if he could confirm if the brake caliper was truly needed to be replaced, he could just say he highly suggests replacing it. From the beginning, this place was trying to scam. I reached out to Alex's Auto Repair in Cypress, who confirmed they could verify if the brake caliper would be needed. Alex's Auto Repair stated there would be no need to waste extra money if he could confirm the issue. Alex's Auto Repair serviced us, and simply lubricated our caliper without us needing to pay over $800 for the whole brake service like Downey Care Care was quoting us. Alex's Auto Repair took the time to verify the issue, charging us less than half of what Downey Care Care center wanted to charge. My issue with this location is they would have happily overcharged us for a service that was not needed. Take your car to Alex's Auto Repair, save your time and money. While Downey Care Care Center was busy playing around, we had to spend extra time and money booking a rental car. (Photo on the left is from Alex's Auto Repair who took the time to verify the concern and lubricate our caliper. The photo on the right includes one page of many pages of services recommended by Downey Care Center including replacing the brake caliper and fluid exchange had we chosen to go that route.) Makes me question if the remaining suggested repairs (not all pictured below) by Downey Care Care Center were even necessary.

I was cleaning and the car kept going into Park. The older man at the entrance of the car wash was yelling at me to keep it in Neutral. I was telling him it was but that I think the machine is doing something g to put the car in Park. I got it heck into Neutral and he started it again. Same thing-Went not even a full tire rotation in the car wash and boom, Park. Now he throws down the water hose he had on his hand, slams on the emergency shut off and starts talking ish under his breath. I open my door and ask for someone (else) to help. Sorry sir, yo entiendo! Rude. I tell him again, I'm not doing anything. Another man comes (he's shorter and younger and always VERY nice when I'm here) and he tells me it's cause I opened the door. I said no. It did it before that and I wasn't going anything to the car. I said come inside with me. He said, don't worry. Then he said are you moving. I said, yes. I always do. Then he said your seatbelt! I said, what about it. He told me when you take it off and move, the car will do that. I said ohhhh. Thanks! They restarted and in fact, if you have your seatbelt on and move-No big deal. But take it off and-You can't move if your car will auto Park. That older man was plain ol rude and not cool. If I was a younger person, that would've made me freak out and possibly cry. Be better.

I went in for a car wash/detail today and was completely shocked by the level of service or lack thereof. The customer service was pathetic, the accountability was nonexistent, and the behavior of both the cashier and the workers was unprofessional and downright disrespectful. If you own a newer vehicle, I highly recommend avoiding this place. They clearly do not take responsibility for mistakes, and when confronted, they deflect blame rather than addressing the issue. For a business that recently had an incident at this location, you'd expect a more humble and customer-focused approach but unfortunately, that is not the case here. The heftier fella cleaning my car stole a pair of AirPods that I left in my center console. I did not notice until after I left and came back to ask about them, manager swore by his workers as if that makes any difference.
