I'm very confused as to why this place has good reviews. Attended with my 2 sons (ages 5 and 6) and was encouraged to get the 2-hour unlimited passes. Lines were so long that we barely got to do anything and definitely didn't get our money's worth (one game of laser tag, one short game of mini golf, and some time in the mission control play area). The woman running the laser tag kept letting people cut in front of me and my kids, to the point that instead of going in at 6 we were bumped to 6:30 and then to 7. An hour is a long time for 2 excited kids to wait. My 5yo was in tears. We tried to play mini golf in between and couldn't find anyone to help us or any golf balls. We ended up literally digging through the putt putt desk ourselves to get balls so we had something to do while waiting for laser tag. It was so disorganized and just overall felt stressful instead of fun. TL/DR: Rude employees, long lines, we spent a lot of money for very little fun, and we don't anticipate ever going back. read more

I used to love this place, but it has gone downhill to the point where unless we are part of a social event, we won't be going back. The customer service is absolutely atrocious and with staffing shortages we only had time to enjoy the bumper cars 1x with no time for mini golf in the 2 hour unlimited pass. What a cool place! I visited here on a Saturday afternoon for my friend's 30th birthday. Although a majority of the attractions are aimed at kids [ages 5-12ish], all of us "adults" had loads of fun. We all paid $30 for their 3 hour unlimited pass, which includes all attractions except the jump zone [trampolines]. There are a ton of different activities to choose from with this unlimited pass, such as the go-karts, a bumper car type thing called the "orbital spin zone", laser tag, and the ropes course. The go-karts were fun, but the steering wheel was way too tight for turning, so it wasn't my favorite. I was the most impressed with the ropes course, because although it doesn't seem that high off the ground, it definitely is! There were a bunch of little routes you could traverse, along with a zip line. I loved it! I was also very impressed with the laser tag arena. It was 2 floors, with a ton of space to hide, and the guns were super efficient. All of the employees I encountered were incredibly helpful and nice, from the ones that helped me with the rope harnesses, to the ones behind the counter at the snack bar. The robots that walk around are a nice touch too! My only complaint was when I ordered one order of fries from the snack bar, it took a little over 10 minutes to get them to me. They were hot and fresh though, and tasted baked, not fried, so maybe that was why. I won't take down a star for that though, because the rest of my experience was awesome [and I was here to hang out and do things, not eat food, haha]. There's also a bar/lounge upstairs, so that's a plus for the adults! Overall, a really fun place with very entertaining activities. After Check in, you get a free bumper car ride using your Yelp app! From trampoline time for an hour to the laser tag area. The friendly robots are a hit! They are nice enough to take pictures with the kids and make jokes with them as well! From a snack bar to the indoor race cars... Great new experience for the entire family. My little Robot was too small to do the rope obstacle course that's above your heads. Don't worry, parents! The kids are strapped in while they tight walk in the sky! We had a birthday party at Galaxy Fun Park. We had a UNIVERSE BLOWOUT party package. I wouldn't recommend taking that package. The package includes an hour of jumping and other activities at a trampoline zone plus 2 attractions. The zone is dark, and there is no music there (something was broken), so the kids were bored after 20 minutes of jumping. I had to purchase fun cards so the kids would have fun at the party. There was no music in the party room either. To me, the place itself seems like not well maintained. And there was an employee at the soft play zone who was sleeping and we couldn't get in until I asked a manager. We saved the party by changing the agenda a little, cutting the jump time, and adding more attractions which cost us additional money. The good thing was that we had a good party host, she helped us a lot and the manager was flexible and caring and allowed us to change the agenda. Thanks to them for their help. The party had to be managed by me, so if you decide to go there make sure you discuss the party plan with your guests, so in case the kids are bored they are not spread all over the park trying to play the game machines. And you need to tell the guests about the next steps every time so everyone knows what happens next. This is the first and last time we had a party at Galaxy Fun Park. read more

If I could give it a lower rating I would. Our adult group just wanted to play a round of putt putt. But before we could, we had to sign a waiver just to play. I explained to the girl working there that we just wanted to play putt putt, why in the world did I need to give them my e-mail address, home address, telephone number, age, and drivers license number??? What do you need that information for??? She said so they know at all time who is in the facility. Really???? why do they need to know this.Sound more like they are selling your personal information to marketers. Paid $90 for 3 kids to play for 2 hours. NINETY DOLLARS and they don't refill sodas at the snack back. Also The snack bar service and staff is SO SLOW. You wait forever for service for marginal food and again ... No refills. This might literally be the first place we have gone to in years and years that does not do fountain drink refills for soda. Hello everyone that reads this. So I gave this place a three star rating because considering I have been here multiple times...I have appreciated what this place has to offer....HOWEVER...the lack of care at the large jumping pad that they have, this is the third time I have NOT seen an employee/staff member monitor or watch the kids at the large jumping platform. 1. Its dangerous for the kids, that decide to jump and do tricks... that they are so close to the edge they could break their neck.....and I've seen a handful of kids almost hit their head on the platform. Safety is paramount and Galaxy is not doing well on that part. 2. The kids don't really understand to take turns. My son was waiting politely for his turn....and these other kids not having the politeness to wait their turn... just kept running in front of my son to jump, which is very frustrating to watch as their was no monitor there to regulate the "one at a time" rule. Unfortunately this is still going on for a year now since I have been back to Galaxy. My advice, ...unless Galaxy decides to incorporate such structure & safety.....as I informed them in 2016 about this idea....I would NOT RECOMMEND parents taking their kids there as they may get hurt due to lack of care from this place. I have already cancelled the bday party for my son because I simply cannot trust this place to have safety monitors at this particular spot. SERVICE IS BAD. Every time I come here I am in the line for at least 15 minutes just to get in while I see Galaxy employees walking around, talking to their friends with nothing to do. When I asked for the manager he/she DECLINED to come talk to me because they were in the middle of something. This is a management problem. Galaxy needs to do better. read more

This is a great place for kids! Laser tag, go karts, trampolines and an obstacle course. (Also there's a snack bar of course but prices are a little high as usual, they also serve alcohol). Staff is not friendly at all. We've been here several times and today was the worst of the experiences. First we were told that we shouldn't bring our kids (two small toddlers) into the trampoline park because there were a lot of big kids using it... it was totally empty. That should have been a warning right there. So we paid for an hour of jump time and two tickets into the fun house for the kids and as soon as they got on the trampolines and started to jump, a young lady in a wheelchair started blowing the whistle at them for no reason that I could see other than my youngest boy wanted to jump on the back trampoline and not the front one, so he ran over several of them to get to it (again, they were the only two kids there and my son at 26 pounds isn't going to knock anyone over except himself). She then proceeded to sit there with the whistle in her mouth glaring at them the entire time they played. My older son got upset that she was sitting there with the whistle and did not want to use the trampolines anymore, instead opting to go into the fun house. I took him to leave the trampoline area and wheelchair Nazi told me he could not leave until his jump time was over (so I'm a prisoner now?). I told her that he didn't want to jump anymore and wanted to go to the fun house, to which she said "well you can't go in there unless you paid for it!" (I already had paid for it). When I told her that, she then told me that he could not come back into the trampoline area if he left (I could care less). Somebody has let their tiny bit of perceived power go to their head. The misery continued from there as the young man manning the fun house gate could not understand that I had paid for two kids to go into the fun house, but only one was coming in right now. He basically told me they both had to be there in order for him to swipe the card. I had to explain to him to swipe it once for now and then when my other son showed up, I would give it back to him and he could swipe it a second time. If this is the future of our country...we are doomed! When my other son finally showed up, a new person had taken over the gate duty at the fun house and was arguing with me that he could not come in until he had a card... you know, the card I was trying to hand her! She said I had already used it for my other child and I had to explain to her now that I purchased TWO entries, one for each boy. I mean seriously?!?! What gives? I'll stick to Frankie's from now on. They always treat my kids nicely. read more

Not worth it. Came here as a treat for my 3 kids only to discover that everyone needs to sign a waiver including parents (not necessary in my opinion especially when grandparents are in tow). This process takes a huge amount of time. Next we discovered that you can not use your own jump socks, they require you to buy their own Galaxy socks if you want to jump. Really Galaxy? This is BS for an extra few bucks my kids could've spent on video games. Attractions are crowded and are over quickly. Considering the amount of time and money I was planning to spend here I rather go to Franky's instead. Customer service was definitely lacking and no discounts are available except for the packages they offer which does not include jump passes. read more

We were at Galaxy yesterday with 6 grandchildren and some of their cousins. One of the children got up on the Zipline and found he was not comfortable with the height. He froze and became too nervous to get down. One of the young people working that part, Terrance, went up and did an extremely professional job of talking him through it. A very knowledgeable and concerned young man who deserves accolades for how he does his job. Nothing to worry about here. Good people. read more

This place is cute for little to mid size kids. The price wasn't really a great deal considering the kids couldn't do a few things without being a certain height or at least 10 years old:/ The $30 unlimited weekend pass is good for middle schoolers but younger kids preferred the trampoline jumping & video games which is an additional $8-$12 each limited. You also have to purchase their own socks $3:/ For the price I think it should include at least the trampoline jumping ( which is not very big ). The other complaint I have is the trouble of keeping up with a card ( to swipe each time and also costs $1 extra for a wrist keychain) as well as a green wristband:/ Three kids and that was almost to keep up with for sure I suggest they just use different color wrist bands for whichever pass they choose . I was really excited to finally have an opportunity to check out this fun park in Wakefield. I had followed it all the way up to the grand opening and had heard mixed reviews. We visited on my nephew's eighth birthday just as a fun family outing. I was pleased with the openness of the park and amazed that it all fit inside of an old grocery store. The best thing about this place is that it is totally inside which definitely helps you have fun while escaping the elements. I did not know that it also had video games and that was a added bonus. I was relieved that they had the soft play area which appears to be very modern, complete with little merry-go-rounds inside. My son spent over 45 minutes playing in there. It is great because it gives the little ones a way to get rid of that energy. We ordered some fries and an icee from the cafe and the service there was good. They gave us a little number and someone walked our food over to where we were observing the littles. I noticed a few Birthday parties going on and all of the kids seemed to be having a good time. The only thing that was confusing to us was getting our fun cards. I thought I needed to pay for an attraction but really, we just needed to put money on the card...lol. I was trying to remember the names of what the kids wanted to do but it was very simple in the end. We had a great time and will definitely return for a little fun! read more

All high traffic areas were continuously wiped down, bathrooms spotless, tons of attentive supervision for safety. I highly recommend for a fun family outing! Came in on a Sunday at 430pm and they close at 7pm. We bought the sky jump for 30 minutes and were disappointed we still had to pay full price on top of that for 3 hours since there would not be a full 3 hours of time remaining. Then to pay just for 5 things is still 30 dollars. This place is a rip off for sure. They do not offer their 2 hour, 20 dollar deal on the weekends which is a shame. This place should be renamed to GALAXY (WAIT) PARK! We rented a party room for my daughters 11th birthday and invitations for all the guest said be there 15-30 minutes early. Much to our surprise and disappointment the place opens at noon on Sunday and their (show early policy) apparently doesn't apply on those days. It would have been great if someone were to let us know that, but epic fail. We finally get inside and guess what! We stood around for 21 minutes while sorting out all the stuff that is required to enter the play areas. Finally, 27 minutes into the start time the kids get to bounce. Do not bring your child here if he or she has Autism or other special needs. Today my family came here and we tried to have our sons go on the race car track. We explained to the operator our son's condition, and he said he would help our son learn how to drive the car. It took my son a while, but he gradually was getting the hang of it, however he was still driving slowly. At this point another family came behind us and their kids got in other race cars. My son was still struggling with driving his car, although the other kids behind him on the track could have passed him if they had wanted to. Three other staff came. At this point there were now multiple people staring at my son as he was trying to drive his car. The African-American staff offered to also help our son. Then, suddenly, another staff, an older White man, went in and without explanation told our son to get out of the car and off the track, basically publicly humiliating our son. My wife tracked down a manager and complained to him and said that when they took our money for the race car ride that they did not tell us that they didn't want special needs kids participating. The manager said he would "talk" to the staff, but did not offer to refund our money, just giving a couple of Fun Park cards instead. But it's not about the money: Why would we ever want to come back to this place where our son--and family--was treated in such a manner? They can't ever undo the humiliating experience my son suffered, basically demonstrating to him that he was not wanted because he was different. They should either accept all types of children, or they should be brave enough to tell families with special needs kids that they are not welcome. Do not give this place your money or your business. read more

So first off, this place is not recommended for children under 4. I went with my 2 year old and he was allowed to play on the trampolines. Then he saw the go carts and of course he wanted to ride one. Theres a height requirement which he met, but it didn't say he had to be 4. After going back and forth between the front desk and the guy at the track checking arm bands we were told he had to be 4 years old. The lack of communication was unbelievable. The guy at the racecar told us he need to have at time written on his band. The guy at the front told us he didn't . he was good with just the green band. The guy at the track said no. and they just didn't know what was going on. After about 20 minutes, I just decided to leave as I had a screaming toddler upset he couldn't get on the cars. so I paid for 2 hours and was literally there for 20 minutes. Came in for my sons on a Wednesday with not much patrons. You need to do the online waver registration for you and your kids. Any adult needs to do it separately since you need to input your drivers license number. It takes less than 5minutes to get you registered and another 5minutes to pay . Weekdays they have a $20 for 30 min unlimited and additional $8 for the jump zone with free socks. They have a go cart, laser tag and an orbital walk which your strapped in and go thru a course suspended. The person at the counter could be more excited instead of being a snub. The guy at the jump zone was very nice and even taught my son how to jump at the hoop. You will have fun read more
