It ended up taking us over two hours to get our pastries, and by the time we reached the front, some items had already sold out. This time, we decided to arrive right when the line opened at 7:45am on a Friday. Personally, I'd rather get there early, wait a little over an hour, and have the first pick of pastries than arrive later, wait even longer, and risk missing out on items. We were the third party in line and placed our order around 9:05am. By 9:15am, we had our pastries and drinks. After our first visit, I wasn't completely convinced the wait was worth it. The pastries were good, but the long line and wait time didn't feel justified. This visit, however, may have changed my mind. We ordered: * Madame Lorraine * Chorizo & Tot Croquiche * Morty P * Strawberry Vanilla Bean Bun * Pistachio Cardamom Sugar Croissant * Rocky Road Double Chocolate Cookie * Classic Croissant We also got two drinks: the S'mores Mocha and the Cherry Vanilla Almond Cappuccino. Don't skip their drinks, their specialty coffees are just as creative as their pastries. I really appreciate their rotating menu. Their pastries are always so creative, and I love that they experiment with unique flavor combinations that you don't typically see at a bakery. Some items are definitely more memorable than others, but I enjoy that there's always something new to try. Their pastries are well executed. The croissants are flaky and buttery. This visit, my personal favorite was the Chorizo & Tot Croquiche. Overall, this visit was a much better experience than my first. If you're willing to wait in line, I think it's worth checking out. Otherwise, you can always try your luck with their Hotplate presale.

When you arrive, look for an outdoor venue with a permanent food truck (before food trucks were cool) and outdoor seating. You'll be greeted by only the kindest Brit's you've ever met. Depending on how busy they are, they can get the food to you pretty fast considering they are deep within the tourist section of San Fran. 10-15 minutes. The cod has a crispy batter, fluffy inside, and tender white flaky fish. Perfectly seasoned to consume straightaway. If you'd prefer, their tartar sauce is also amazing. (Can't speak for the malt vinegar as that's not my thing.) Ditto for the shrimp. Medium sized, flavorful, and you can't have one seafood without the other. The fries are also perfectly cooked to order. I'm so happy to see, that in 2026, they are holding a 4.4 stars with over 3,532 reviews. I can't wait to visit them again. One of the cleanest "fried" food places this side of the coast. Only one place completes with them directly in my book down in Ventura. Way to go!

We walked there and it was an easy 10 minute walk from mid - Market street. We were impressed with the variety of options that were available to us. The smells that hit you when you first come in are so amazing and intoxicating. When my coworkers and I were ready to eat, someone saw us come in as a group and had a table prepared for us. The atmosphere felt like a bizarre. So full of life and so energetic. You could be there to either enjoy the food, or collaborate with your colleagues. There is a place in San Francisco which serves meat dishes which are served from a food truck in the city Tourist Trap. On a 2026 Fisherman Wharf stroll I went to Tanguito. This place has lots of beef dishes like the steak sandwich with cheese along with the cheeseburger. I wanted to try their empanadas. I got the ham and cheese empanada. It's was delicious and had it was pretty cheesy and it was a little flakey like some in SF. The ham was savory and tasty. I will come here again and try their different meat dishes. Come to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco and try some "Argentine" meat "cuisine" and get the Argentina chimichurri which is a sauce that's "green "and Tanguito is a great addition to the San Francisco food "scene" South America is known in the soccer and now the political "arena "but you can come to a place in Fisherman's Wharf that serves food from "Argentina" just less than a mile from the "Marina "and a block away from the new "Taco Bell Cantina"
