The Blenheim Apricot is awesome, the Black Currant (pardon me, I just had to step away for a couple of spoons full...) - is like velvet for your tastebuds.

The Roxie in the Inner Sunset in San Francisco on Kirkham and 9th Avenue is a bit different . First of all it has three times the space and is more of a neighborhood Supermarket with aisles for drinks and food along with fresh produce. It also has a deli which somewhat mimics the Roxie at the Mission Terrace location. I had the roast beef sandwich and it was as good as the other Roxie location. At this Roxie's you find bottles of alcohol including an aisle of wine. They have chilled wine here. You can also get bacon , cheese , fruits , snacks, and veggies. There is quite the selection of loose end items you can pick up here. Overall a good place in the neighborhood to shop for drink and food. At the San Jose Avenue location in Mission Terrace you can see people line up for sandwiches by the Posse In the Inner Sunset is a different vibe at 9th Avenue and Kirkham location Roxie

This place is so charming and such a lovely addition to the neighborhood…read more I stopped in here the other day and I felt like I was transported to the UK. My family is Welsh - and much of my family currently lives in Wales and England. Having grown up visiting the UK every summer - I grew up with clotted cream and scones, Horlicks, sausage rolls, Walkers crisps, Hot Cross Buns, Galaxy Chocolate, chutney, fruitcake, Ribena, Jaffa Cakes, tea and biscuits, and much more. This store has all of that and much more! The staff member working when I popped in - was exceptionally kind and was there to answer any questions I had in regards to their beautifully curated selection of products from Scotland, Wales, England etc. Truthfully I wanted to buy everything and I wish that my mom and sister could have been with me to explore this magical shop. I know that they would have appreciated the well curated store and the good vibes throughout it. I ended up buying a fantastic Pendleton picnic blanket (perfect for GG Park ) and a bag of Jelly Babies sweets. Later - after checking out their facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/willowonthegreen/ - I was thrilled to see that they regularly post about new product additions to the store and they often host unique cheese tastings throughout the week. They have even collaborated with Arizemendi bakery - doing Fondue tastings - using Arizmendi's exceptional bread. Willows on the Green is amazing. It was evident in my brief time in the store - that they're truly invested in being part of the Inner Sunset community. They enjoy supporting other local businesses in the area - and they're excited about sharing the excellent aspects of British culture/food with the San Francisco community. Thank you! Trust.

Après Vous saved the day for me when I dropped in there right after a busy running-late-oh-so-hectic day before rushing off to the East Bay for a friendly potluck! On this quieter side of Taraval just a block or two off of 19th Ave is Après Vous.. Before you are long counters full of classic dinner entrees such as Meat Lasagna, Quiches, Pulled Pork, Beef Tri Tip, Roasted Potatoes, Rice Pilaf, Mixed Veggies, Mashed Potatoes, Roast Turkey and many others. The menu seems to vary daily, with a more basic menu on Saturdays. Closed Sundays from what I've observed. Parking is convenient right out in front, and so is transit, with the L-Taraval Light Rail line just outside too! Pricing seems in line with the fancier supermarkets, but I think it's fair for what you get. This is also a great place for a quiet meal by yourself or a companion, as there are a couple of small tables by the window where you can watch the world go by. It's a peaceful place with friendly attentive service. I look forward to trying this place out again anytime and exploring their selections!

We checked it out - quite a few hot items to choose from including desserts/sweets. The mushroom frittata was light but flavorful (about $5). With a crispy undercarriage and still somehow perfectly chewy melty, it had a great balance . I also got a chocolate chip cookie which was massive for the price, chewy and not too sweet. The service was quick but the out door seating was full today, which reflects the popularity of this quaint and highly popular location. Luckily it's a quick walk to the park and even through the extra distance, the pizza was still crispy and delicious.

My friend has gone to the other location a few times and said the other one was better, but this is my one off experience with Arizmendi. Ranked from best to worst, we got the: - almond croissant: kinda dense for a croissant but simple, lots of filling - daily pizza which was triple mushroom with a sesame ginger vinaigrette: a little gimmicky, smelled stronger than it tasted, not bad but wouldn't reorder, kind of dry but love the crust - cheese roll: dry as is but probably better warmed up, tasted like the pizza crust - chocolate mint cookie: very crispy edge with a softer middle, personally was too crunchy for me bc I like a softer cookie, definitely needed more mint - cowgirl cookie: letdown, had high expectations but this was super dry and needed more mixins Open to trying more pastries here because there is a large variety and wish the daily pizza flavor on our visit was better. Prices are fair and there was a line that didn't take too long.
