I've been here many times for live music but never eaten dinner here. I was a little skeptical and read the Yelp reviews before we went which were quite accurate. The food is good the service is so so. My friend and I ordered drinks they were having happy hour specials buy one get one free. The drinks never arrived. We chose not to say anything as our food came out and we didn't really want to have drinks at that point. When my friend ordered the chicken & pasta in vodka sauce the waitress said it came with soup or Salad. He ordered salad which never arrived with the entrees. I ordered the Asian ahi tuna salad. The portion was a nice size and the tuna was very fresh. The only suggestion I would make is to offer some pickled ginger with it. The menu has a good range of options from fish to chicken and beef as well as ribs. We decided to try one of the deserts and went with the chocolate lava cake which comes with ice cream and whipped cream. The ice cream was a bit frozen and had a lot of ice chips in it not a premium ice cream. The lava cake was Tasty but was missing the lava. Having worked in a restaurant kitchen and made lava cakes I know that when you overcook the cake there is no Lava. Something the restaurant could easily fix. Galuppi's gets a lot of customers because it's on the golf course and they have great live bands but they certainly could improve their service. read more

I came here a year and some change ago with my now husband and returned on Sunday- both experiences were great! They made us mocktail sa which were great and the food was bomb. The first time we went the brunch menu was different due to COVID. This time around we had chicken Phillys (sandwich) with Cajun fries. It was delicious! Our server Scott was kind and attentive. He answered all questions and made our experiences enjoyable. They had a great DJ outside Wuxi set a great atmosphere. It was super hot (August in FL) but just make sure you sit under one of the fans outside and you should be good. Everyone from the hostesses to other servers were very kind as well. I went here 3 years ago but was not impressed. I was persuaded to go back today and will NEVER go back. There was someone's chewing gum in the napkin my silverware was wrapped in! EEWWW! I ordered the Friday special (fish fry). By the time I got my food, the rest of my party were 3/4's of the way through their meals. It was the special!! Have always heard of the guppies but more for a weekend good time, live music, and dancing kind of place. I did not realize that they had a brunch on the weekends until I found it through a search online. Made a reservation but when we got there at 11, the restaurant was empty except for one other table. It did fill in a little bit as we left, but it was surprising that it was not crowded. Since the all you can eat buffet was only $25 per person and unlimited mimosas or bloody. Mary's were $18, I would've expected it to be way more crowded but it was a rainy day so maybe that people. We had four people to our party and we all opted for the buffet. Of course there was breakfast items like bacon and sausage, but there were no eggs on the bar as they made everything fresh. So you could order scrambled eggs or fried, or even eggs, Benedict or an omelette and they would make it fresh and bring it to you at your table. Same thing with toast, bagels or English muffins. They did have a lot of other selections at the buffet for those that didn't want just breakfast items. There was Aji tuna, salads, a prime rib, carbon station, big ziti, chicken, Parmesan, a few appetizer selections, and then a whole dessert section. Our server was super nice. Went to a special event--Motown. They were charging $65 for reservation (made on line with credit card) and did indicate that drinks and gratuities would be due at the event. There was a fixed menu with 3 entree choices. The food was dreadful at best--i chose the chicken dish and the portion was microscopic. The desert was a tiny joke. Further, when the bill came they charged 22% for service PLUS tax PLUS 3% for credit card use. Total ripoff. They also billed it on $75 and i had to have that fixed. Not bad for a last minute Thanksgiving get together with friends. No one had to cook. No one had to clean. Instead, we enjoyed each other's company on a day off. FOOD: Food buffet style with, seared tuna, turkey, ham, sausage and prime rib as the meats. Lots of sides. My favorite was the sweet potato casserole with pecans and marshmallows. Drinks other than water were extra. SERVICE: Not always quick or thought out, but sufficient for buffet service. There were two spreads of food, one inside and one outside. The only reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the service was decent and the ahi tuna in my salad was good. Otherwise, everything didn't leave much to be desired. We ordered the dip trio for an appetizer, and it was just ok. The queso wasn't much more than a grade above heated up cheese whiz and the salsa tasted like something out of a regular jar of salsa from Publix. The artichoke dip was the best of all three. We also ordered the chilled Asian chicken lettuce wraps, and they also weren't very flavorful. They also only came with 3 lettuce pieces. For $14.99, I was hoping for much more. This is was wonderful and beautiful setting! We planned an 80th Birthday party for my mom in one of the banquet rooms. The banquet manager Melanie was so easy to work with. Responded immediately with answers. The staff was amazing! They were on it the entire night! They were friendly, understanding, courteous and actually had fun with us! Came here to listen to a Journey cover band but they're covering Bon Jovi. All good...i like Bon Jovi. I had fish and chips. Didn't eat the chips just because I'm full. The fish was really good. My sister had a chicken teriyaki bowl which she enjoyed. My brother had wings he said "eh". The service was quick, the server,Kayla, is excellent. We are sitting outside and it's oppressive hot so not sure how long we can stay. Live music every Friday and Saturday night. I haven't listened to live music in a looking time. We came back for brunch and it was not as good of an experience. They don't seem to offer an option to get just 1 drink, it's only bottomless. Also, you can not get a side of a pancake, it's all or nothing. The waitress wasn't communicative and failed to offer what could be accommodated and failed to state that pancakes would be a full order. I asked for an omelet with a side of a pancake and toast. The omelets had all the cheese in one spot and toast comes out unbuttered and without butter on the side. We came here for Thanksgiving this year and it was just 'ok'. Upon arriving at the check in table there were girls who looked half asleep sitting around behind the counter just waiting to be told which table to take the guests too. Not a very good first impression. We were seated outside, even though I requested inside. The venue is rather lovely and has a nice backdrop of the golf course. The buffet was $44.99 a head for adults and $19.99 for children under 10. The waitress gave my son the kids menu and all he wanted was Mac n cheese. So for $14.99 he could have just had a beverage and a Mac n cheese (which was pretty much all he ate) ... except they charged us $24 something for 1/2 a plate of Mac n cheese and an apple juice. She asked me if I wanted to order the kids Mac n cheese and I said no as I assumed would be that disgusting Kraft out of a box Mac n cheese. My mistake on this...should have made it clearer to the waitress and asked more questions. The buffet was not the best, a lot of the food was cold in the trays - but did taste ok. The broccoli bake and the green bean bake were ok but a bit soupy and liquidy. I was so so disappointed that the buffet was rather horrible and cold. Wish I could say more positives. We didn't eat dessert - apple pie looked the most appealing out of all of the selections. No pictures of the food. My family eats here almost every Thanksgiving. This is the first year, we had lots of issues. I am being generous with 3 stars because of previous years' better performance. One constant issue is the tables are tightly packed to accommodate the maximum number of guests, which makes it difficult to navigate from the table to the buffet and back. The tables were less scrunched this year, but there were still too many. My dad, on the end, constantly got bumped by other guests walking past due to the narrow aisles. However, this was minor compared to the incorrect ingredient issues. Two issues were major; these included being given incorrect ingredient information (religious and food intolerance issue) on the macaroni and cheese (contained pork) and having the unsweetened ice tea, no lemon being delivered with lemon wedge on the rim 3 times. Yes, you read that right - 3 times incorrect in one meal! I asked in the buffet line if the mac & cheese had ham or any pork. The chef at the carving station asked a person in a chef hat who said no. I reasked the same gentleman if he was sure because of a food issue and was assured there was no pig product in it. Luckily, my dad discovered the ham in it before anyone with an issue ate it. The waitress apologized and offered to make the mac & cheese special without the ham, which was nice but not necessary. There were plenty of other dishes. The waitress assured me the manager would advise all the staff at the buffet that the mac & cheese had pork so another guest would not have the same problem. On my second trip to the buffet, I stopped to speak to the chef at the carving station whom I originally asked and who had passed on my original question. No one had told him that the information we received was incorrect. The manager had never followed-up as promised! We also had issues with handicap accommodations. The host out front kept trying to send our party (that had four handicapped guests with walking and stability issues) all the way around the building to the holiday entrance in back. Having been through this before at holidays, I knew handicapped is allowed to use the front entrance. Unfortunately, no one told the front staff this year. The tables are so tightly packed at Thanksgiving inside that my mother's walker and wheelchair are not useable inside so she was having to manage with a cane and my arm. No way she could walk around back. We also had four other issues this year. The staff picked up the utensils with the dirty dishes and did not bring new ones; there were no additional utensils on the buffet either. This happened at two different times when clearing dishes; no learning took place from the first mistake. The chocolate brownies had no tongs to serve; the first person I asked told me to use my fingers. At my horrified expression, someone else volunteered to fetch tongs. We found several plates with food stuck on them stacked in the pile of clean dishes for buffet guests to use. Finally, getting the bill took a long time even after I finally requested it. The buffet has a good selection of items. The carving station includes turkey, ham, and roast beef. They also offer seared tuna. Sides include mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, red smashed potatoes, green bean casserole, vegetable medley, broccoli and cheese casserole, stuffing, and rolls. They offer a few salads; the Caesar was drowned in dressing. Desserts include pumpkin pie, pecan pie, apple pie, brownies, and fruit. There is also cream for the pie. If this was my first time, I would not go back. As it is, I will give them another chance because this is the first time we've had such a holiday dining disaster here. read more

Have been to Galuppi's a number of times over the past few years, sometimes just for beers after a round of golf or the driving range, but occasionally, order from the menu, and last year my wife and I decided to do the Thanksgiving Buffet. What I've noticed is everything that comes out of the kitchen is very heavily salted, I am very serious. Last visit, I had a pastrami hoagie, the pastrami was cooked well, the roll was fresh, but the sandwich was so heavily salted I could not eat it, I never send things back to the Kitchen, this time was the exception. The sandwich was a box of salt. Service is good, that wait staff is at times slammed But I feel they do a great job keeping on top of stuff, everyone that I've interacted with at the bar have been professional and polite.
