Service here is bad I came in trying to turn in the phones I no longer used and they kept telling me my phones had no battery when they did and how I should make sure they're all on settings before coming in because it's a whole process like I've came before the same girl helping me had no problem now today she just wanted something to complain about and I've never felt so unwanted in a store the guy that was helping me at first kept huffing and puffing and rolling his eyes and the girl then took over and she said they should come charged and ready for the offer I'm sorry I didn't know I had to do your job? I said I will just come back another day when honestly I'm not the service is bad and they are lazy with horrible attitude I don't know how they're still open when their employees are miserable read more

wtf is wrong with this store, tried 50 calls within 1 hour they never answered, they had never called me with a reminder for the release of my preorders and on top of that i have gotten my preorders open and displayed on the floor the day of realease. !!Worst Customer service ever!! I am only speaking for the girls working there. I went in to purchase a Nintendo Switch and 2 games the two gentlemen helped me out very professional no complains This was on Dec.20 2021 . Two days after Dec. 22 I went in to get a price match since he game dropped 15dls prior to the days me purchasing it. I asked one of the girls to help me and her attitude was the worst she seemed frustrated I was asking for my 15dls back and at the same time she was talking to the other cashier and not paying attention to what I needed she kept saying Sorry what did u say? And slapping the game in the counter and handed my receipt with an attitude not even a thank you after. She seemes to hate working there and the energy she sends out is the worst ever. My brother purchased a gift for me from out of state, the limited edition funko league of Legends set. Upon opening, I found the amumu box was damaged. When I called the store, the woman on the phone said I could return for store credit. Upon driving for 20 minutes, as this is the closest store to me, and waiting for almost 10 minutes for them to ring it up, they then tell me i need a receipt. This is something that should have been said over the phone, now they are wasting my time and his. This is just another reason why I dont shop at gamestop anymore. Horrible customer service. I was looking to see if I could get into something other than sports games. The customer service agent was very helpful and talked me into turning in two sports games from the previous year for store credit towards a new game. Got an extra $7-8 bucks by doing so, cool. I got a game that was supposed to be back compatible (injustice ultimate edition). I got home put the disc in and it didn't play. Turns out it wasn't back compatible. No biggie I'll go back the next work day (I went during my lunch at work on the day before 4th of July ). The gentleman that helped me was not available. Frank helped me return the game. I asked him for my money back, because the game did not do what was sold to me (play on Xbox one even though it was a 360 game). Frank turned on the defense and said he could not do so because I had signed that I would get credit. I explained to him why I chose the credit option and then he said if the game was the issue I would have brought it back the same day. I explained to him that I do not live in the area and that I'm here the following business day. He was not having it. Would not give me my cash for the two games I had sold. Frank was not It helpful and would not listen to the situation. Go to another location with good customer service. read more

I left a $10 deposit on the 5th of this Month ...I was told they'd called me and never did ...I'm pretty sure an employee at the store bought them right after I mentioned them not being available to sell yet because he wanted them .. What's the point of leaving money to preorder if it's gonna be gone the day they become available ? I'm your average, run-of-the-mill video game enthusiast who prefers to pick up his games physically rather than digitally or online. Therefore, I found myself heading to this Gamestop often, as it is my local Gamestop. One issue I want to point out is that THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE! It's a miracle if they ever do, but there were times when I was in line and heard their phone ring super loud with associates just standing around and talking by the back room door instead of answering. That's an indication on just how rude this store is, but it's not the cherry atop the ice cream cone. No, no, no, that honor would belong to Tony, the store manager. He has the attitude of a half-eaten, leather loafer. He was a friend when I made purchases, but immediately flipped his script when it came to cancellations or returns. The guy showed his true colors when I wanted to return a few extra amiibos I had picked up, refusing to refund me in any other method than Store Credit. Even if there is a policy, he could have spoken to me in a better tone. As a manger, he should be setting a positive example for the employees. Since then, I have cancelled all preorders & used the Store credit on eShop cards just to avoid that hellhole. I'll purchase my games either at Bestbuy or Amazon. I bought a card purchasing infinite warfare, modern warfare remaster, and the season pass for 100 bucks. It turns out they gave me an inactive code and they could do anything about it. They took my money from me and just decided to say i cant help you. If i buy something i deserve to get what I paid for.
