I'm always greeted when walking in and ask if I need help looking for anything. I love that they have specials on Funko Pops from time to time. This is the main reason why I come to GameStop. I've been too many GameStop's before including this one. Always have friendly and good customer service. I spend alot of money here and expect that from GameStop. Today when I went in I was very disappointed in customer service with girl named honesty. Seems like I was bothering her when I would ask her a question. She was just on her phone and seemed agitated by customers. First time I've ever had this experience in GameStop. The hours listed online are that they open at 10 AM. I came over here at 11:45 and they are still not open. They open at noon. So first off correct your hours online. Additionally, the lady with glasses who I'm assuming is Rileigh W. the store "leader" inside is extremely impatient and rude. I asked a couple simple questions and she's telling me to go to another store that is open; however, I'm already here and gas isn't cheap. The store has a small foot print but they almost always what I am looking for In-Stock. I never feel rushed; my kids and I often take our time playing with the Demos or looking for that perfect game. The PRE OWNED: CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS that we brought home would not load pass the intro so we called them and he told us we can return or exchange it any location. Came in today to buy a couple of things. The kid behind the counter asked if I wanted to purchase the Game Stop membership. He told me it was $9.99 and that it came with a $5.00 coupon. I asked him "so I'm really getting this membership for five bucks then?" He said yes. He also told me he would have to run 2 separate transactions, one for the membership and then another for the games. Turns out he charged me $14.99 for the membership and said he had deducted the $5.00 from my purchase. Moral of this story, Don't lie to your customers to make the membership sale. I am editing my review because a few days ago I went to this location and it looks like the store hired some new people that had limited game knowledge. I went in and asked for the special promotion Genesect code card. The new guy asked me what it was for... I replied for Pokémon. He went into the back of the store to check and came back to tell me "sorry we have no Pokémon Genesect games" as clueless as this guy could be I asked the other new guy and he told me that the code card didn't come out yet when I saw the code cards behind the counter next to a messy stack of games. The store advisor Cesar tried to keep my receipt when I returned an item. I noticed he intentionally left it on the counter, when he brought it to the door. (Covid time) He would not return it unless I told him if I had opened the other item I had purchased. He then asked me, "what do you need it for?" Do better game stop, train people you hire not to make personal decisions about others property. If he was smarter, he would know people retain receipts for many purposes. Just picked up a console bundle set and the employees were very cool and helpful. They also have a big selection of games and everything is nicely spaced out. It's also next to a tech fixing place so you can take your broken or out-of-order consoles and devices there. I came here a few months back and bought a used game. I came home and opened the case and the employee didnt put the game in the case so I had to go back and get it. I gave it another shot today because I wanted to get another ps4 game. I walked in, waited foreeever while the one girl employee was helping out people by herself with no other staff members to help. Then she coughed, sneezed, and rubbed her nose snot all over her hands and fingers while helping out a customer who was eating ice cream. I went to this GameStop on the pre-release day of Mortal Kombat 11 which was on Monday April 22nd. I received a voicemail the previous day and in that voicemail a lady states that at 6 p.m on the 23rd they'll be finalizing receipts and at the same time they'll be handing out the Scorpion masks. So I get there at about 5:55 p.m on the 23rd and I had to wait inside for about 5 mins. After I got my receipt finalized both the workers the lady and the guy that helped me out didn't even give me the mask and on top of that they told me I have to come back for the game. Now at this point I'm a lil pissed off but I didn't wanna make a scene inside of the store. Like really how can you really leave a voicemail the previous day stating one thing and then the next day you do the opposite. Very very inconvenient and a waste of gas as a customer for me. Then they tell me to come back around 8:00 or 8:30 and they'll have a raffle and they'll be giving away prizes and the scorpion masks. So I went home and came back around 8:25 and at this point it looks like almost everyone in line has got a scorpion mask or a prize in their hands. They finally gave me a raffle ticket and a won right away. Most of the good prizes were already gone at this point but I came away with a lil keychain toy bot. Then there was a guy who had the scorpion masks in his hands but he completely skipped me in line and gave it to everyone else. I was confused Indidn't understand why they didn't want to give me a scorpion mask. I even got up to the front of the line in the store and I seen people coming in late and getting their receipts finalized and there was a lady that was handing out the masks from the drawers from inside the store to these customers. I have eyes I tend to observe a lot of things. Now at this point I really just felt mistreated and treated unfairly. When I got up all the way to the front of the line after I was handed my Mortal Kombat 11 game I asked the young lady who was working and she sounded like the same lady who had left me a voicemail on April 22nd if she had any Scorpion masks left and she said she had run out. Funny thing is when I seen her open the drawer she had multiple masks left but didn't want to give me one for whatever reason. And to top it all off she sees me with a poster in my hand but still she says "I mean I can give you a poster oh wait you really have one." I felt like she was being sarcastic and she just felt like the type of person I can't trust. My overall experience here was a bad one. I felt like I was treated very unfairly. Everyone should be treated equally but you won't get that treatment at this location. read more
