My husband and I really like this GameStop because it's close to the house and the staff is all really knowledgeable and friendly. The people that work there are very well-informed and usually able to answer all my questions. They are also on the pulse about upcoming game releases. The selection is your standard GameStop fare and the store is the size you'd be expect. Also the shopping plaza isn't too busy so this is easy to get in and out of. Parking is a breeze since it's further away from the grocery store. Even though I live close to a few GameStop's in the area, this is my preferred one. read more

Store has definitely gone downhill over the years. Stock has gotten worse and pre owned prices on retro items are way too over priced. Not a fan of some of the staff either. They never acknowledge you when you go in. And most of them are all just awkward.... Especially the one with the unkempt one with the neckbeard, he is very creepy and kind of just stares. Made it very uncomfortable. Avoid him if you choose to shop here... Was also lied to in regards to their PS5 controller warranty. Staff member told me I can swap for a new one when my current one broke. Got stick drift, came to change it and was told by tge aforementioned creep that I can only do it for used product. So was basically lied to so somebody could get brownie points for shift. lol Thanks for the $15 scam gamestop. Please support local gamestores. CUSTOMER SERVICE is usually very good here but the reason I'm giving it only a coupl stars is that the hours of operation always seem to be inaccurate listing online. I've always enjoyed coming to game stop. Well that's because I like video games. Game stop always has a good selection of games to choose from and the people working here are usually pretty nice and knowledgeable. In the past I've sold games to game stop and I've always felt that I've been ripped off but the convenience made it ok. Now days I don't sell the games or systems to anyone. Games nowadays have a high replay factor. I wish I kept my old systems. That being said I do like and almost exclusively by used games. It's a budget friendly way to enjoy what I like. read more

I was reading some of the other reviews and as a former customer service worker i can say that most of these complaints just sound like entitled customers who feel that these people are standing there getting paid to say hi and bye to you like they're your best friends or something. I was on this side of town and happened to stop in here for a wired Xbox controller so I can use it for pc. I was not greeted when I entered, just stared down. I asked one of the cashiers for assistance getting my controller due to it being locked up and he did not seem very thrilled. Once I got my controller I browsed around the store for a bit and made my way over to check out. I was then waiting in front of the cashier with Nobody in front of me for about 5 minutes. He was too busy texting to ring me up. After my purchase was made I didn't even get a farewell from any of the team members. OLD: With very few exceptions, the employees at this particular location of GameStop tend towards rudeness. When you ask for something you get the impression you're bothering them, and god forbid you should call to ask a question you get even less help and more attitude. Came here today with the husband to sell back some games in hopes of pre ordering the new COD Black Ops and I was seriously shocked. (This is totally nothing against the service or the employees working here because the only woman on staff for the day was seriously holding it down!) He brought four+ games to sell back all of which I know we had to have at least paid $50-$60 for when they came out. For all the games he was only given $17.00?!? I've definitely stopped by this store several times since it's the closest one to my house. Oddly enough, they usually carry what I need even though it's a smaller, slower location. Service has always been decent here. More often than not there's a strange odor in the store... Not quite sure what that's about. Worst experience I have ever had at a GameStop. Only came in to buy a PlayStation network gift card for $10, cashier almost denied my sale because I asked if I could pay a couple dollars in quarters. (Not the full amount) but I asked "would you totally hate me if I used some quarters?" Thinking of course she wouldn't mind money is money. She rudely responded "Uh kinda yeah" while tossing her hands on the table as if I ruined her day. I said "oh okay then" and then used the $20 I had.
