I had my garage floor epoxy-coated this past Tuesday. At first glance, the floor looked great--smooth, clean, and the price was fair. However, after giving it a closer inspection today (Friday), we found several issues that were hard to ignore. There were spots that were completely missed--no epoxy coverage at all. Some areas had excessive flake buildup that was just sealed over, making the surface uneven. In a few places, the epoxy dried into sharp, raised points that could be a hazard. While most of the floor looks decent from a distance, the quality doesn't really hold up under closer scrutiny. I was hoping for a more professional finish, especially since epoxy flooring is supposed to last a long time. I'd recommend the company pays more attention to detail on future jobs. read more

Maybe they do a great job with garages but I would not recommend them for exterior concrete coating. Effervescence is not covered BUT they do not tell you this is not covered or guaranteed by their service. So if you want to spend $3000 for nothing go ahead. Don't worry though they'll come to your house to see the peeling of their product. They'll explain effervescence isn't covered by warranty because it doesn't last. Too bad that was never mentioned in the bid process. Too bad I didn't have the foresight to ask about effervescence as a non flooring, non concrete customer. And if you don't understand have your husband call them when he gets home and they'll explain it to him. Just in case you don't understand. That's top notch service. I found this contractor through this site, Yelp. I was a bit anxious on obtaining the right contractor for an epoxy floor installation. I had another contractor come out and give me a competitive bid, however, he did not come across as detail oriented. From the moment I contacted this company, the lady who answered the phone (Jessica) came across as very confident, not cocky. I gave her quick scenario of room size and flooring condition. She quickly responded with a quote. Before I accepted terms I thought of several questions, since this was a new venture for me, and I personally do not know of anyone with this type of flooring that I have seen. Jessica did a great job of holding my hand and answering all my questions with clarity and extreme patience. No hard sell here. I thought that a company that will take the time to do this, is a good start. Installer (Christian) came out day and time as promised. Prior to beginning the install, he carefully went over each of the forthcoming steps that would be taken for the installation with a rough time frame for each step. He also verbally kept me informed throughout the process, which is a great customer service benefit! He wasn't afraid or bothered by me looking in every once in awhile at the progress, which was my curiosity, rather than concern. I liked his confidence not to be bothered by this, rather, welcoming attitude. Christian worked on the epoxy installation as if it were his own property. I loved the results of the flooring! I picked Glacier color. I attached a before and after picture.
