Ken stuck with it, even though the problem ended up not being inside the transmission. They resolved the issue well, stuck with the original quote, and were very pleasant to deal with throughout. I have zero question Ken is as honest as the day is long. My only regret is that after living in the area for 30 years, I've only just found Ken. (he's been at the location for 25+ years). Specifically, the protective plug was not removed from the oil filter prior to installation, which blocked oil flow and led to engine failure. This was not a defective part, it was a handling error. As a result, I was left with a disabled vehicle, significant downtime, and major repair costs. The matter ultimately required legal involvement and was resolved through a settlement with their insurer. Mistakes can happen, but this was a basic procedural failure with severe consequences.
