The website won't let me withdraw or cancel the pending request within 24 hours even though it hasnt been accepted. My experience trying to set up this appointment felt very disorganized and unprofessional and my business was not valued at all. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH HOW MY HAIR WAS CUT AND HIGHLIGHTED. MY STYLIST EITHER CUT OR HAD THE…read moreHIGHLIGHTING CHEMICALS BURN OFF A NOTICIABLE CHUNK OF HAIR ON TOP OF MY HEAD. SHE LEFT A 2-3 INCH CHUNK ON TOP OF MY HEAD WHEN MY HAIR WAS AROUND SHOULDER LENGTH. THE STYLIST LEFT THE HIGHLIGHT PRODUCT ON MY HAIR FOR ABOUT 45-80 MINUTES. She kept coming back about 3-4 times saying that I need to leave the color product on my hair for another 15-20 minutes each time. I think the stylist probably knew they messed up but did not tell me because they stylized my hair and put product in it after my cut and color which kept the short chunk of my hair down or blended at the time.. For months, when I put my hair down, a chunk of hair would curl and stick up like Alfalfa from the Little Rascals. THIS WAS AN EXPENSIVE LESSON FOR ME. I learned that spending $240 does not guarantee you will like your hair cut and highlights. I learned not to tip after my appointment until I get home and make sure my stylist did not make any mistakes and that I am happy with the services provided. I learned that if I am happy with everything after about a week, then I will go back to the stylist and give them a tip. I learned that I need to speak up immediately if I am not happy with any part of their services. I learned to keep notes on vendors that I am not happy with so that I never go back again ( this was my 2nd time here where I had the same problem of not liking my hair). WHEN I TOLD THE MANAGER I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICES A MONTH AFTER MY APPOINTMENT, she said that I can come in for a free hair conditioning which I declined because why would I want to go back to the salon that messed up my hair. Then the manager said she could not offer any refund because it has been around a month after my appointment. She added that she could not be sure that I was not the one who cut a chunk of hair myself. After this comment, I got extremely angry because their stylist messed up my hair with either leaving the highlighting solution in my hair for too long (around 45-80 minutes) or she accidently cut my hair too short. Either way, they messed up my hair! The manager quickly apologized after I said all of this. MY ADVICE FOR ANYONE PLANNING ON USING THIS SALON OR ANY OTHER SALON IS TO PLEASE LET THE SALON AND THE STYLIST KNOW IMMEDIATELY IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH ANY OF THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDED YOU. I KNOW THIS CAN BE UNCOMFORTABLE FOR YOU BUT IT IS BETTER THAN WHAT TO SPEAK UP THAN TO BE IN MY POSITION. DO NOT TIP IF YOU ARE UNSURE OR UNHAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICES. First go home, wait a week, make sure you are happy with everything, and then go back and tip them. I also will probably use a stylist with a lot more experience from now on. ***Please know that my experience and dissatisfaction does not represent all the stylists at the salon. All the employees had good customer service and their facility was very nice. They have a parking lot that you can park in for free so you do not have to drive around looking for parking you probably have to pay for. My 12 year old has very tight curls with multiple curl patterns that continue to change in puberty. She became self-conscious of her hair in middle school and desperately wanted to understand how to maintain it so that it grows again and how to style it so that she can stop wearing slick back low pony tails. Enter Rolando - he was patient, took his time to listen to her concerns and explained every step as he was doing it. He went through each product, was intentional about keeping it minimal effort so she could learn how to recreate it herself, and suggested products that were best for her hair that also were affordable. My daughter left with healthy, defined bouncy curls and a huge smile. So grateful for this experience and happy to have someone we now trust. As an aside, the studio itself is lovely. They have free snacks and drinks while you wait, comfortable seating and are very communicative about how to navigate parking in the location.

From the jump, Aisha so warmly greeted me as I walked in and welcomed me to her chair as she set up. She so effortlessly got into asking me about my hair goals, current routine, areas I wanted more help with and incorporated everything throughout our appointment. I emphasized wanting to preserve length and for once, after experiencing one too many "scissor-happy" stylists, Aisha approached every snip with care and precision to find my ideal shape again, while respecting my wishes. I added on a detox as well and Aisha walked me through the whole routine she was using for the process. Like any other casual conversation, she sat in the chair right next to me as the detox processed and talked me through the products and techniques she recommended for clarifying my curls, conditioning and styling. I felt I really got the service I was paying for with her undivided attention the whole appointment. Back in the chair, she was honest and concise with her feedback for the health of my hair and how I could improve it - something I really needed. Fast forward, 5 days later; including a wash and style of my own and my hair has been the talk of the town!
