Its a great big place! don't get lost, but if you do, just talk to someone, everybody is so nice and friendly here, and there is a great variety in store. If you are looking for something specific, you're likely to find it here, many culturally relevant brands and products. The sushi bar looks really good, and the bakery smells super fresh, walk in on the southside, and the fresh deli awaits, approach from the north and find the produce section, its glorious!

Garden Fresh Market is our local grocery store. We go here mostly for produce and staples like milk. They are always have a wide selection of produce. Their produce is always fresh and their prices are much lower than other grocery stores in the area. They also have a great bakery selection. My husband and I have gotten several cakes and pastries from their bakery and have not been disappointed. Garden Fresh Market also has a selection of Russian and Eastern European foods to cater to the local population. I recommend Garden Fresh Market as a great local, independent grocery store.

Huge store with lots of selection and good prices. But, as others have pointed out -- the freshness of the items here can be a hit and miss at times. For fruits, vegetables, and meats -- they're usually between fresh to very fresh and an incredible buy. However, for prepackaged items, breads, dried goods, etc. I've run across items that have gone stale in days or ones that have expiration dates within days (inventory could be managed better since some items in the same area can have an expiration date weeks apart). With that said, the selection here is astounding. You can find pretty much any variety of any ethnic food you're looking for. Everything from European to Asian to Hispanic to Indian is covered. When items are on sale, they're pretty much the best prices you can find anywhere, allowing you to make high quality meals at unbelievable prices. Definitely worth a visit if you live in the area, for great prices and great selection.

This store is disgusting!!! Honestly! Worst grocery store ever! Not sure how they stay in business!!! I've had two horrible situations happen and promised never to ship here again! I needed an onion and some potatoes, since I was already in the plaza I decided to just make it easier for myself. As I walked in, I noticed that tomatoes were priced well...and then I saw it. The tomatoes. We're all moldy! How on earth can you miss that???!!!! Never again!!!!

International Foods & Grocery Store in Buffalo Grove. My wife is Russian and we go here when in Chicago to buy certain unique food items. There are mostly Eastern European branded products with other European, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern & Asian foods as well. There is a good assortment of Local, American & Mexican staples. A very diverse fresh produce market with so many varieties to choose from. Our favorite part is the Deli and Bakery. Exceptionally nice people and personal service. Interesting place to visit. We placed Garden Fresh on our list of stops for Russian Foods in Chicago.

The aisles looked stocked, and the store had a nice layout that made it easy to get around. The visit was quick, but it left a great first impression. I'll definitely have to come back sometime to do more shopping. Based on what I saw, this seems like a well-run store that's worth visiting.

The first time we ordered from here was through the website and we drove up to pickup the food. First, the app... perfect. Need gluten free food filtered? Yep! Need low carbs and zero sugar filtered? Yep! Did you decide to go into the store instead and need to turn it into a shopping list telling you which aisle and section it is located in? Yep! Honestly, it is fantastic. Next, it is employee owned. Everyone inside seems to care about making you a happy customer because they own a stake in it. Lastly, this place is massive! I can't rally explain to you how massive. It is 242,000 square feet of groceries. For scale, that is 15 commercial Boeing 737 jetliners inside or 395 full sized semi trucks or the entire New York City Central Park Zoo! It has every food you could imagine with every gluten free, keto, and zero sugar option my family craves. Want that Mountain Dew Voltage raspberry soda you thought was long gone? Yep! Want those Keto ice cream bars that taste better than standard ice creams? Yep! You got a customer for life. Well done!

Sure, I know I'm paying more for the same food and produce I can get elsewhere cheaper, but the quality is better at Sunset and the produce tends to last longer. I love the fact that as you bring your cart to pay, the management is there to guide you to an available cashier or a short line and then they empty your cart onto the belt. They help you to your car and even load your groceries in your trunk if you need the help. There are no other stores in our area (that I'm aware of) that have such great customer service. Lastly, one of the best services they have is that if they don't have an item you're looking for, you can let them know at customer service and they will get it in stock for you. If you do some research about Jose and how he came to this country and built this business from nothing and if you truly love small local businesses, and if you truly want to support the American dream of a Mexican immigrant, this is a place to shop. I have loved seeing it go from a grocery store to having its full bakery and eat in restaurant section with prepared foods as well. They are stronger now than ever.
