They have great items in the front of their store as well for a quick bouquet to go. I love how the inside is very bright with lots of room. It feels airy and modern, but also like you are in a farmhouse flower-shop. It was pretty busy on Saturday, but definitely plenty of spots to make your own bouquets.

It's small but beautifully furnished with an intimate class setup around a standing table. I was pretty apprehensive about the class as I consider myself "artistically challenged" but Ashley's guidance resulted in a beautiful end product that I was proud to display in my home. She was so encouraging and engaging that she put us all totally at ease as she walked us through the steps to build a bouquet. What I really enjoyed was that even though we all followed the same general structure, each flower bucket was slightly different (all the same flowers but different amounts/styles of cutting) so there was no way that any two bouquets would look alike. It was a great hour and a half with fabulous, friendly coaching and conversation and I would not hesitate to do a class again. Highly recommended as a unique date, day out, or gift for someone special. Note that they have transitioned from their large space along the main thoroughfare at Pearl; they are focusing on events now so they no longer function as a retail space.

From the moment I called, I knew this would be different. I spoke with David, who actually works in the shop, and he was incredibly helpful. He patiently walked me through flower options and helped me customize the arrangement to exactly what I envisioned. His professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. What really impressed me was the follow-through: they even sent me a photo of the bouquet that was delivered -- and it was absolutely beautiful! I couldn't be happier with the service or the final result. If you're looking for a local florist in San Antonio that truly cares about quality and customer satisfaction, I highly recommend Spring Garden Flower Shop!

It was a beautiful arrangement and beautiful vase and the delivery person was nice but the flowers didn't seem fresh. No smell at all and some were a little brown around the edges already. I have been adding water daily and have managed to keep them alive for almost 2 weeks except I do notice some have died already. If they were a little fresher I would have given 4 stars. I buy fresh flowers for myself all the time. And to not have a smell is odd. I am sure they cost a pretty penny too. Hopefully they will be better next time.

I paid the deposit and worked with her on plans. While working with her, I came across several negative reviews and was surprised - why were her reviews so strong on the Knot? After seeing some of the pictures of her arrangements, I worried she would not be capable of creating the arrangements I had in mind. So I decided to request individual stems and create bud vase arrangements myself. I expected the quote to come in under what she had initially provided, after all, she wasn't doing any labor outside placing an order anymore. When I got the quote back, each stem was between $6 - $11. I thought that seemed steep considering she quoted $65 for centerpieces when we did our original order. She told me flower growers were going out of business left and right and that's why the cost was so high. I was still skeptical so I looked online and called a couple other florists with strong reviews in her area for quotes. They came in at half the cost, if not a third the cost. I asked her about this and she said their flowers must be low quality. I asked her to look at other wholesalers to see if she could get a better price somewhere else, she refused. After feeling fed up, and a little screwed over, I requested a refund so I could work with a different vendor. She told me she didn't do refunds. Lots of wedding vendors don't do refunds so I understood, but when I tried to find a contract/agreement, I realized I didn't have one on record. I asked her to provide a copy of it and she evaded the request. When I pressed, she tried to pull verbiage from a Privacy Policy, which, for those who don't know, only covers how companies manage your data when using their website, and twisted it (took it completely out of context) to tell me it was proof that if I used her website we were under contract, pretty slimy. The arrangements we received were actually quite nice, but that's easy to do with more premium flowers. The boutonnières looked nothing like what I requested. The eucalyptus was half bug bitten. The mums were all rotten - that's about 25 rotten flowers. And she did not give me the privot berries in my order. I reached out to her to see if she'd be willing to do anything to make it right and she has not responded three weeks later.

She also did not take the items we agreed she would at the end of the night. My family and friends had to help out. When asked about what happened, she simply blamed others and would not take responsibility for anything. No accountability and definitely no apologies from her. I would not recommend this company. For what I paid (it wasn't cheap) there are many other wedding planners out there that are much better.
