I've been in here 3-4 times for a pedicure and overall they have done a great job. My previous nail place dig into the sides of my big toenails and caused them to be ingrown. This place does not do that. The polish lasts for a long time and the service is good. However today I was asked if I wanted heel scrub for $10 extra, to which I said yes because my heels are dreadful. The lady then proceeded to scrub a hole in my skin such that it bled. After this happened on my 1st foot, she didn't do a very thorough job on the 2nd foot out of fear for doing the same thing. And I was still charged for the scrub, which I would not have done if I had injured someone. I will still keep coming, but hopefully I don't get this gal a second time. I also really don't like the color I picked, but that's my fault. read more

Needed to get my nails re-done last minute for a wedding and in a bind for time or else I'd do them myself. I showed the inspo and they recreated the look. I mentioned one finger needed to be fixed and was denied saying it looked fine and then I mentioned it again before they applied the next coat but they continued to do so anyways. They added thick layers of top coat which fell to the sides onto my cuticles which will lift and has already started to... I asked if I should hold my hand upside down so the apex could build but they said no they've got it and tried to fix it and asked me to cure. My nails are now a 1/4 inch thick on the sides and flat/droopy in the centers/tip. They look good from afar(see pics) but the quality of work ruined it for me. My nails are extremely thick, due to the multiple uneven and streaky layers of top coat. read more

I was Garden Nail Bar's customer for years. I stayed with them for quite a bit. After my last three visits, I am never coming back. Two of the three times they cut me to the point where my nail bed was throbbing in pain for days after. Two of the three times my toes would crack after a week and get caught on my socks and bedsheets. Three of the three times my gel nails peeled off, cracked, and completely broke off after a week. I finally found a decent nail tech and just got my nails done, and she was shocked at how badly Garden Nail Bar messed up my cuticles and nail bed. I also finally found a good salon for a pedicure, and here we are, one week later, and my toes still look the same. Furthermore, they make it very abundantly clear when they are talking about you. Don't waste your time and money here like I did for so long. read more

Couldn't be a worser wax experience. The lady had no idea what she was doing. Ended up giving me blood clot on the hand. She was using 1.5 feet long pieces of wax paper to wax. I feel like the owners are eager for business and over estimate how many customers they can accept at the same time. I had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment to get serviced. The owner tried to keep me busy with water and snacks, along with selecting colors. But that didn't stop me from checking the time. The lady who did my pedicure quickly came over and began working on my toes. I didn't have a pedicure in months so I definitely needed some cleaning. I was skimped on my callus scrub, ingrown nail remover and massage. Oh, and paraffin is an additional charge, boo. The pedicure was enough to shorten my nails and color my toes. Positives: Take walk ins Offer water, snacks Have a wide array of services Negatives/Needs Improvement: I asked for powder dip nails. Most places remove your powder dip and put a fresh coat on. They filed it down, then did the powder dip on top. And, instead of doing the powder dip color they suggested--more like insisted--I do clear powder dip then they'd put color gel on top. When I asked why they had no explanation. They failed to fill in, cover areas of my nails adequately, left polish and cuticles uncleaned and untrimmed. (See pictures). They used the same nail file which was used for me to the women who came next to me. They even used the same soaking bowl. I was not asked what shape I prefer before starting. She just grabbed my hand and started filing. There is no choice for manicures, only lotion massage for less than 1 min. No exfoliation, cleaning, nothing. Went as a walk-in with my daughter and we were seated right away. A nail technician was with us within ten minutes. My nail technician was Anna and she did a WONDERFUL job with my acrylic, almond, nude nails. She was gentle, made sure what she was doing was what I wanted, and very professional. She had a wax appt halfway through my appointment but she was still very professional in juggling me and her wax appointment. I was a walk-in that she took on because she didn't want me sitting long, which was very generous of her. The salon is very cute, great atmosphere, and the workers are very professional. Nice-looking salon in a convenient location. Staff are friendly and hard-working and do decent work. However, if you're going there, be forewarned that they use the same tools for everyone and do NOT clean them in between clients! Ewww! They have all of the tools in a little container in their rolling carts, they pull them out to use, and just put them back in the same container. When you ask them to open a clean packet, they give you stink eye! I have been there multiple times and have seen the same thing happen over and over again. This place does not do acrylics !!!! I called to ask for pricing they had told me $45 extra 5 for longer nails. I let her know the design I wanted and she said she can do it. It took her an hour and a half just to shape my nails and they look terrible. They are bumpy and not coffin shaped at all. When she told me the design price she TRIED to charged me $50 dollars more for a 3D flower design and a couple gems. When I asked why she said because that's the price no explanation or anything. She tried to say because my nails are short that it was harder to do which doesn't make sense because she added tips. I was extremely frustrated at this point because she just kept bringing up unnessary charges without giving their customers an explanation. Y'all need to be honest and if you don't know how to do something please just say it. It's a waste of time And money. I went to get my gel X nails removed and instead of soaking it in acetone with foils, she ripped them off instead with another gel extension tip... it was so painful and 100% damaging to my nails. The whole point of me coming to the salon was for proper removal. I was also charged double the amount I normally am charged. Sadly won't be coming back here anymore. read more
