I had my nails filled here two days ago. I went to put my hair in a ponytail yesterday and my hair got stuck IN my nail. I realized that three or four of my nails were not attached to my natural nail, so the gel builder was not adhered to my nail. I went in and TRACY, same technician as before, took the faulty nails off by sanding them down and leaving me with a couple of short short nails. She then proceeded to put gel builder on those nails and was gonna call it a day when I asked her. What was she going to do about the short nails, she seemed confused, like I should be happy with what she has done. I was not. I walked out before she finished. I didn't want to start crying. I didn't want to start screaming but let me tell you I was screaming in my head. I paid $70 for the worst fill. Seventy dollars! I could've gone out a nice dinner. Or I could've gone drinking with a friend and had appetizers and paid for both of us. Instead, I got this. read more

Oh my gooooooooooooood god what is this place. Loved it Randomly was looking for a mani & pedi at 8:45am. Found this place and rushed over. After the Mani & Pedi (pedi lady gave an excellent foot massage... I was alive again) I quickly wanted to finish off with a facial. WOW!!!!!!! That was hands down THE BEST facial I've ever had. Holly was so gentle and then the massage Ahhhhhhhhhh insanity. She put into space with the massage. I'm sure she added some essential oils and they worked so well for me. Went to this place per friend's recommendation but my experience is disappointing. I had spa nail which it says hot stone and paradise massage. Massage was supposed to be 10min but not so because the service person. Was busy to pick up towels and kther thing to bring back and forth. And she forgot to give me stone massage. It was rushed service that the pedi was not even dried and I was ushered out. Sure enough nail got chipped immediately. I may try with a different person again , maybe. AMAZING. Let me just say I haven't had that good of a pedicure in a VERY long time. 5 minute massage, hot towel, scrub, the works, all for $35. Harley did an impeccable job on my nails. Shaping to color everything was great. She really took her time. These ladies are good people & and a class act. There was an older lady there at the same time as me. They don't know this but my grandma passed away a couple days ago. They treated her exactly as I would want someone to treat my grandma. They were so kind and gracious. No. Just no. I tried to be fair and came here three times with my friend for pedicures and they have been consistently mediocre, but the last time I was there, the staff/owner were downright shady. General commentary: their nail polish does not last and does not appear like it was applied like a professional. My and my friend's toes last literally two to three days before chipping, each time we have gone. This last time, I got a neon pink, which was translucent when finished with the application. It should not have looked that way and my nails weren't shiny either. The polish STAINED my nails so bad, that they look almost as neon as before my acetone removal. Both techs I have been serviced by were very rough on my cuticle area. She clipped away very aggressively at my skin and I said "ow!" more than once and she ignored me every time and kept going. They also very loudly told my friend she MUST get the upgraded callus removal because her feet were "so bad." If your feet are less than perfect and you are sensitive about it, beware. I won't even tell you what they say in Vietnamese. Shady business: This last time my friend and I were there, we were seated for our pedicures with our nail techs. Mine proceeded to start removing my nail polish without asking me which pedicure I wanted. Her tech started to hand her the services menu, and my tech stopped her, and told her in Vietnamese to just give her the $40 pedicure, and to not ask. We didn't say anything, but when it came time for my massage, my tech tried to tell me I am paying for a 10 min massage. I spoke up and said usually the regular pedicure is 5min, and that I wanted the most basic pedicure. My tech gets flustered and the owner chimes in from the manicure table that she asked me if I wanted a regular pedicure, and ai said yes. I told her that what she asked me was if I wanted a gel polish pedicure or a regular polish pedicure. It turns out, they have sneakily renamed their pedicure packages to Basic, Regular, and maybe Deluxe (?). Either way, they tried to make me pay for the middle-tier pedicure and tried to deceive me into thinking I consented to the "regular" package, which is more expensive than their standard, most basic, regular polish pedicure. The owner tried to talk over me twice but I shut her down. She did not apologize for the confusion at all, nor did she acknowledge me pointing out how her techs did not count on me understanding Vietnamese and noticing their dishonest practices at the beginning of the service. If you are already a regular here, maybe the service is fine. But if you are new, go elsewhere. The staff clearly value profit over business integrity, and maybe even sanitation at this point. read more

Horrible ! Came for a fill left with no top coat 2 of my new nails slanted down curved. I told her I didn't like them she said I should have told her I didn't like my nails curls when all the others were straight. Ive been here 4 times. 3 of 4 were not good. The regular polish was put on too thick on toes and smudged first day and then their gel came off my hands on day 1. their prices are little higher than other upscale salons and dont they border the San Jose area? They push for Zelle or venmo payments....hmm? when I ask questions about fees or colors they ignored me or were rude. they seem like they get irritated, really??? who is the customer. wont go back. I have been here several times. I really wanted to like here as it's very convenient( short distance) for me. I have to say they do a mediocre job on the nails. Couple of times the staff were rough on my cubicles. It hurt so much after they put alcohol on it. Once the staff applied the nail polish very thick and the layers didn't match. Also, their regular nail polish doesn't last at all. I can't believe they charged me $25 for just removing my gel manicure and pedicure. My manicure was very out grown(less than 1/3 remaining) and it was completed gone on 3-4 nails. The pro at this place is that they are not busy. You can walk in to get your nails done. That's the reason why I went there several times. I would definitely not go there to remove my manicure/pedicure anymore. read more

They suggested I try dip powder instead of classic acrylic powder, but the lady who did mine didn't seem all that comfortable with it. Nails came out kind of bumpy and thick. I also asked for ballerina shape but she seemed to only know rounded square. However, their prices are much more reasonable than my usual spots. I was hoping to find a new salon that was more convenient but sadly this is not it. I am used to getting acrylic powder french nails with tips. I was starting fresh with a new set. When I walked in I asked if they do the french with pink and white powder and she said yes. But she did this dip application that I had never had before. Of course, the most expensive they offer. I told her that I had never had this sort of application and she said at one point that I am teaching her english and she didn't understand. They were not even the same length and didn't look as good nor not what I am used to. It took a long time to do it this new way and I didn't feel they turned out better than what I usually get elsewhere. Guess I should have driven across town to my regular salon. Cost me $70 plus tip and I had to even them out when I got home. I said I wanted them short but jeez I also wanted them all the same length but they were all over the place on how long they were and not the same amount of white and nail bed. I won't be coming back. The interesting thing was that the woman who seemed to be the manager told me before I left that if I didn't like them they could take them off and do the acrylic or anything else I wanted. Hmmm sounds like she knew what I wanted to begin with! And she was trying to convince me that this new dip process was better for me in the long run. I didn't want that nor did I ask for that. Pissed I didn't speak up from the get go but when they first start working on you and they are doing something different you think maybe they just do it a little different. Not a completely different sort of application that cost a LOT more than usual. Not returning and don't recommend. read more

I am so pleased with Top Coat! I walk by here a lot since it is very close to work, and I finally called to see availability. They told me to come in, and I had my eyebrows waxed and a gel manicure. I have a brow piercing and usually people are nervous about waxing around it. I reassured the cosmetologist that it was fine. She was great! I have never had someone who did such a thorough job - not one hair left out of place. She trimmed it at well, and I was quite happy with the result. For my manicure. I was looking for a dark purple. I chose one color from the swatch, and she put it on my nails after prepping, trimming, and cleaning them. It was very pretty, but then she added a top coat of an even deeper purple that was AMAZING... it was like she read my mind about what I had really wanted. It now is this gorgeous eggplant color, and my nails are all evenly shaped and look wonderful. I have definitely found my go-to place for eyebrows and nails! read more
