As you can see if you look at my profile, I do not write reviews unless things are really, really bad. Wesley came out and gave me a bid on the two new HVAC units that I needed for my house. When he had his techs install the first unit, it blew a fuse within a few days. I called him and he came out a couple of days later - the hottest days of the year, of course. Told me he'd have his technician come out and take a look. Waited another week. Finally, they fixed it. However, every time it turned on, there was a loud boom that woke everyone in the house up. I called him again. Said he was busy. After another week of sleepless nights, I called a HVAC maintenance company who came out and installed a slow start and made some adjustments to the placement of the unit. He had also put in the wrong size fuse in which they proved to me with photos. No, I would not recommend either for installation or for service. read more

We went to fire up the furnace and no heat. If you are reading this review you are no doubt inundated with the amount of people that can replace your furnace or air conditioner. I asked our plumber Jason Cooper who does all our work and is very trust worthy who would he recommend and his response was immediate - Wes Gardner. Wes came on site and the control board was dead and it was a $1000 repair and Wes recommended we replace the entire unit because it was 17 years old and get this the air conditioner was the original from when the house was built in 1977. There was also a multitude of other issues that Wes found and repaired like the air return being disconnect and drawing air from outdoors. Wes was great to deal with, straight forward and matter of fact about what we needed and no over selling on all the gizmo's you can get these days. We felt in very safe hands and Wes had us back up and running in less than a week with a brand-new furnace and air cond even with all these "supply chain issues". When I sent a text to Wes thanking him for getting us operational before Thanks Giving he responded that he takes pride in his workmanship and it's clear that he does and he has years of experience to go with it. I used NextDoor to research positive experiences with local HVAC companies after having an unpleasant experience with one of the big HVAC companies. The big company basically tried to sell me the most expensive solution for ductwork replacement. As it turns out, they also charge a premium to do the work. I wanted a second opinion, and read about Wes from Gardner Heating and Air Conditioning. Wes came out to my house, he crawled around under my house to look at my ductwork. While under the house, he fixed a couple of small ductwork issues. After he was done under the house, we sat down and he gave me a very honest assessment of my ductwork, explaining all of my options. The prices he quoted for various options were all very reasonable. I tried to pay him for his time under my house and he would not take my money. Incredible. When the time comes to do additional HVAC work at my house, I will be calling Wes at Gardner Heating and Air Conditioning! read more

We had Gardner install a new A/C unit for us 10 years ago. Price was fair, service was good and the unit has held up nicely despite us basically ignoring it for 10 years. Recently, it stopped cooling, so we had them back to service it. They came out same day, and less than 30 minutes after he arrived the technician had diagnosed and replaced a bad capacitor.
