We grabbed the table and asked other tables around us for the extra 3 chairs and everyone was nice enough to give us the extra chairs. Our server, Suzanne was excellent. Nivas was not overly friendly but she was attentive. We ordered a couple rounds of cocktails. They were pricy but good. The fire pit tables are very nice. If you can sit outside at a fire pit I would recommend doing so.

We walked in around 8 p.m. hoping to enjoy the live music, as we have many times before. Since Pepi's closes at 9, we assumed the music would continue until around closing time. Instead, we walked into an almost ghost-like atmosphere and were told that the musician had already finished because he hadn't taken a break since starting around 4. That was completely understandable, and we had no issue with it. As we were leaving, we happened to see the musician and simply said something along the lines of, "Sorry we missed you, have a good night." Instead of leaving it at that, he immediately asked us where we were staying and mentioned that he had played there the night before. He then asked whether we had seen him the previous night, and the tone and direction of the conversation made us uncomfortable. We politely played along, and he eventually told us to come back the next day at 4. What really caught us off guard happened as we walked away. We heard him refer to us to other guests or employees as "those people were weird." The irony of that comment was especially surprising considering that we had only stopped to politely say we were sorry we missed his performance. He was the one who continued the interaction by asking where we were staying and taking the conversation in an unexpected and uncomfortable direction. As longtime customers, this left a very bad impression. Guests should not have to wonder whether they are being mocked or talked about by people associated with an establishment immediately after a perfectly polite interaction. It made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, and unfortunately it changes the way we feel about returning to Pepi's. After coming here season after season, we'll be taking our business elsewhere moving forward.

It isnt cheap but it's vail so if you expected different you didn't do your homework.

I wished that I'd read the reviews before dining in this establishment. This was a waste of time and money. WARNING TO ALL MINORITIES!!!! This establishment doesn't APPRECIATE patrons of color. As we waited patiently to be seated a gentleman approached us and stated "What can we do for you?" That should have been an indication for us to have taken our business elsewhere. Secondly, the waiter went to our table only 3 times. 1st, to drop off utensils & water, 2nd, to take our order, 3rd, our bill. No where in between did they ask if we needed our drinks refilled, if we needed anything, or how was your food. When we were leaving the establishment I discovered that the gentleman who had seated us was the owner Mike. I, mentioned to Mike how offended we felt by his and the waiters actions on our treatment. I was a little hesitant to come in after seeing some mixed reviews, but so glad I did! Dinner last night was excellent -- I had the ribeye and a Hugo spritz, both of which were fantastic. What truly made the experience, though, was our server, Meghan. She was hands down the best server I have ever had -- warm, attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and always one step ahead of what I needed. Her timing and recommendations were perfect, and she genuinely made us feel taken care of. Meghan is an absolute standout and a huge asset to this restaurant. The food at this place was good. Our waiter was friendly, but after ordering a beer and being carded once I was carded about ten minutes later. The manager Mike carded in a very aggressive manner asking ridiculous questions. He then proceeded to take me outside and yell at me because I told him the process was a little much. His yelling was borderline harassment and absolutely unacceptable management behavior. Would not recommend if you are near the age of 21 read more

Also, the waitress was incredibly good-- it's one of those places that gets much better because of the service speed and personality. Sweet potato fries were the best.
