I had the Clam Chowder, side salad, and Cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. All were great. Plenty of space. Service was great. Neat location at the port.

Looking for a dinner spot, this place was near the marina! Beautiful view in the town of Garabaldi :) Menu was quite the variety. From appetizers and drinks, to sandwiches and entrees, and even seafood. Their seafood chowder is unique. It was creamy and had little shrimps, scallops, clams and corn. I got the blueberry goat cheese burger. It was pretty different since I love blueberries and goat cheese! The burger was topped high -- it was hard to eat and was messy. I had to cut in half. However, it was a good burger. There was an avocado spread, bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Even my bf's turkey sandwich was topped high and he loved it! Presentation is nice here -- the sweet potato waffle fries were so good. Crispy and not greasy, there was an additional charge for it which the waitress made me aware of -- she was so kind and accommodating!

We stopped by Garibaldi Portside Bistro for an early dinner on a Saturday night. They were decently busy with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. We were lucky and got to sit by the beautiful indoor fireplace! I had the Alfredo. The flavor was good, but the noodles were very overcooked. I loved the cheesy garlic bread! The side salad was a great bonus to the meal. My husband had the half rack of ribs. They were a bit fatty for our taste. He ordered the "waffle cut" fries and the waitress brought out waffle cut sweet potato fries. The menu did not state that their waffle fries were sweet potato. The menu made it seem like they had regular waffle and sweet potato separate items and priced differently. We mentioned that to the waitress and she hesitated and made the switch. She took the plate back and immediately came back with fries and they were obviously not fresh and barely warm (the same quality as the sweet potato). Despite not ordering the sweet potato option we were charged an extra $4 for the fries we did not eat. We will be back to give them another chance as the atmosphere was great!

We tried Garibaldi while in town for a trip! It was a cute bistro with plenty of seating and WONDERFUL staff! Our waitress was so nice and helpful. We were late for our reservation but they still accommodated us! The food prices were a bit high for the type of food quality/quantity. And the options were limited when we went (no veggie patty for burgers, limited desserts, etc). Overall, a nice place for dinner and great views of the coast!

Maybe it's because I was absolutely ravenous but Garibaldi Portside Bistro served me the best Turkey Club Sandwich I've had in a long time. Our group was hungry after a long morning of adventuring and GPB was the perfect pit stop. The location is unmatched, the service is very friendly, and the food was delicious. We sat outside on their patio and enjoyed the views and sounds of the nearby port. Garibaldi Portside Bistro instantly became a new fave of mine! You should definitely stop by when you're in town.

Fantastic food. Huge portions. Seven of us in our party & most of us split our meals. Glad we did because portions were so large & tasty!

It was 8 on a Friday night and we were hoping for Prime Rib, so we asked our server and she checked and said yes. So we ordered and she let us know the kitchen was backed up so it would be a while, so we ordered appetizers. Then she came back to apologize as they had run out of prime rib. You know how that is, when you are prepared for one thing and then nothing else sounds good. I ordered the French Dip and salad, but my husband just opted for the clam chowder, which was served with garlic toast. The garlic cheese curds were good, but that's a huge serving! I loved the bread, meat and cheese of the French Dip, but I didn't realize there was a light horseradish sauce on it, which Im not a fan of. We got a basque cheesecake to go. The manager came out to apologize and our server couldn't have been nicer. We will try again, but get there early! Great location for appreciating the marina.

Nice place off the beaten path. We were actually looking for something that offered a variety of seafood. We thought since this is by the crab and fishing boats, it has to offer seafood options. No they don't, however our visit was pleasant. Our waitress was so personable and polite. We ordered a Pelican Stout, Tots with Brisket, and a bowl of Chowder all were delicious. Their garlic bread was very good and came with my Chowder. We then decided to try one of their desserts, Blueberry Cheesecake. Also delicious. If you're looking for a simple American Food stop by.

Came here for dinner in garibaldi. The staff was super nice. Big menu. Quick service. Chicken Alfredo lacked depth but the portion was big. Inside was clean and homey.

It was a beautiful day so I took my wife out to lunch in Garibaldi. What should I order for lunch if I want some eggs... or a ham sandwich, or maybe pulled pork, or maybe a BLT, or just a great cheeseburger. What about ALL OF THEM on a bun?!! ...with a side of tot's! I present you "The Big G", the most impressive burger I've ever seen! My wife got their awesome Reuben sandwich and we split a carrot cake for dessert. Our server was the lovely Briana. Thank you Briana!

Great food, service and atmosphere. I am gluten free and they had many options for me. Everything was delicious and it was clean and nice.

Well, I just finished one of the best bistro meals of my life and am currently in a crisis. I seriously doubt that my review can portray the delightful experience of a divine meal after a long day at the beach. Simply put, Garibaldi Portside Bistro offers good food, amazing service, and a warm atmosphere. I was sad to leave

I'm no specialist but when it comes to FnC it seems only few spots know how to get the batter right without drying out the fish. If you're in the Nehalem area you gotta try it.

Sounds like fun and tasty so we left early on Saturday morning. We splashed in and played for a few hours. After getting out of the water we walked to the food cart restaurant on the bank of Nehalem river. When we walked up there was a sign "Waiting Time One Hour". Ok! It's a three day warm winter weekend so many people headed to the coast. We ordered beer and chatted away the time. This is a good food cart, outside seating on the river on the sunny day. The cart is associated.with the roadside store in the downtown. The back of the store has a covered deck with tables in case it rains. Prices are high, for three piece halibut with a dab of coleslaw and overcook cold french fries was $32. My friend had the three-piece cod for $26ish. My friend really wanted to try this place and she enjoyed the cod. I, on the other hand, have had better with Moore sloth and fries at other places on the coast., But you're here, right. You're on a mini vacation, just enjoy the warm winter day and nice food.

You can't beat the view with this place right on the beach. Plus, it happened to be a beautiful day. When we walked in it felt very comfortable and more modern than I was expecting but had a comfortable ambiance. The service here was great. We were greeted right away. Our waitress was fantastic as well. I went with the Rockfish Sandwich which came with 2 pieces of rockfish, tartar sauce, creamy slaw, lettuce, and onion. I went with no tomatoes. Honestly, this tasted great. The fish was fried perfectly, not greasy at all. The fish appeared fresh as well. This came with battered fries. My youngest daughter had the grilled cheese, which she easily took down. No complaints. The menu may have changed, but we had some prawns in a chili sauce that tasted great, and my wife and other daughter had a salad with shrimp. This tasted great as well. The shrimp had a nice flavor and were not over cooked. It was the perfect addition to the salad. It was a little more on the pricier side, but everything is getting more expensive now days. Overall, we had a great experience. We had a great view, everyone working there was friendly, and our meal tasted great. The Sand Dollar is certainly worth a try.
