I had the Philly cheese steak with fries and drink. Honestly, I've had better Philly sandwiches elsewhere, even at the mall. This beef was like Italian beef - large slices cooked on the flat top but not at all chopped up like Philly places usually do. It was chewy and tough. Topped with provolone, which is fine. The bread I think was Turano, also good. Fries were good. I don't think I'll order this again though. Sorry Garibaldi's.

Have been coming here for years and always had a positive experience. This last time I had the beef grinder with provolone. It was good and better than the beef shop in the same mall.

My fiancé and I were craving a slice of pizza and Yelp led us here. This spot is such a vibe, from the lighting to the layout and ambiance. If you're looking for a quick little bite for a date night or with your loved ones, I highly suggest this place. The only bit of criticism we had was the fact the male employee tonight had somewhat of a bad attitude. He didn't seem like he wanted to be there at all. We ordered two slices and employees failed to mention that there was a special if you bought two slices you get a free drink and we ended up seeing that after we bought two drinks. Overall, we loved the place and will be back because the pizza is delicious and packed with flavor and freshness! Honesty the BEST PIZZA ever. No lie!

My first review of the year is going to go to a place that holds a special place in my heart, as it has not changed since my childhood. The food still tastes exactly the same, and is absolutely delicious no matter what you order! The service is still impeccable, quick, and friendly. The character of the space even though the locations have changed remains the same. There is a casual feel with kind of a diner vibe as well and still has some of the old claw machines and the like that you remember from childhood. Whether you're getting a quick bite to eat with a friend, a casual fun first date, or a group outing, there is something for everyone. One of the things I love is that they do not rush you, and also they have the good ice. They offer Pizza, a variety of appetizers, pasta dishes, hot and cold sub sandwiches, and a good variety of salads. Like I said, there's something for everyone! Stop in soon!

What a cute, charming little Italian diner! This place was an incredibly fun place to eat, and the food wasn't half-bad either. The best part of the experience was the retro interior, complete with black and white tiles, neon lights and even an arcade room! The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home the second we entered the door. We ordered the Baked Mostaccioli-- a Midwest staple, along with a Cheese Pizza. Both were pretty tasty, especially the pizza. I just wish it had a bit more sauce on it. Overall, this was a pleasant place to have some non-traditional Italian-American fare.

I have a life long love of this place. The pizza is so delicious, slices as big as your head, and the price is great. Their entrees are also good, the sandwiches specifically. My family loves to come here and we celebrated some of our birthdays here this year. The inside is retro and so cool and I hope they never ever change it. The service is quick too and you can host a party here if i'm not mistaken. My favorite part is sitting under the spilling lady or next to the fish tanks. So many good memories here and I'll come back for as long as I can.

Today I ordered a turkey burger without tomato and no ketchup. It came plain with lettuce and onion. The burger was over cooked and tasted burnt. I don't think I will order a burger here again. I still gave 5 stars because everything else was good. An order of mozzarella sticks comes in 8 or 16 pieces! They are delicious My husband loves the chicken tenders with BBQ sauce! Will be back!

Never order food on an empty stomach since I went all out on this carryout order. I ordered enough for three course meals for me. When it was time to pick up the food, I had a chance to look around. It features a 50s theme with antique decor throughout the whole area and the brilliant neon lights illuminate the room well. I absolutely appreciate the atmosphere. The packing was done with care. When I went home, the meal was still warm and intact. Even though it is standard procedure, they were attentive to include napkins, plastic utensils, and a sauce package. I ordered the 8-piece wings as an appetizer. The size is reasonable. A good mix of wings and drumsticks. The wings aren't breaded or battered, but they're still crispy. The buffalo sauce was excellent, and there was minimal aftertaste of vinegar. The main entrée I ordered a foot-long hot dog. The hot dog was perfectly char grilled on a toasted bun. The topping resembles to the Chicago style, excluding the sport peppers. The topping contributes flavor and color. I had the handcut fries as a side. It was well-seasoned. It was savory, crunchy, and delightful. It pairs well with hotdogs. I got tiramisu for dessert. It had a soft and creamy texture. I recognize the aroma of coffee. It was satisfying to watch the fork smoothly cut the tiramisu, and every bite was delightful. I believe this establishment is underappreciated and should be acknowledged for its excellent service, delicious food, and reasonable rates. I will definitely return to taste their various food selections

    Garlic bread. Not bad.

This place smelled delicious as I walked in. The decor inside was colorful and it looked like a great family restaurant. I was craving some good spaghetti or lasagna. But they had a Philly steak sandwich that looked good as well. So, I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and that Philly with peppers and mushrooms. The order came out quickly and it smelled and looked great. Im a guy that likes to mix the noodles with the sauce, so I did. First off, there was not enough sauce. After mixing, it was a plate of colored noodles, it needed more sauce. But then again, the sauce was not that great. I was hoping for a thick rich sauce, but it wasn't. So I switched to the sandwich. Wow! The sandwich was packed with ingredients and the cheese held it all together. I savored every bite. Having said all of that, there were many sandwich, 5 stars. But the spaghetti only gets 3. Average it out and we have 4 stars.

Out of curiosity, I decided to check it out. Located across from the railroad tracks and near the Metra station, Dario's is a local institution that serves up tasty sandwiches and more. I liked their sandwiches options on the menu. The variety was good. I ordered their Fiesta Panini that's made with pulled pork, habañero aioli, muenster cheese, red peppers, red onions, and avocado. I wanted something to drink and I saw that they have homemade lemonade with cool, different flavors. I got me a small Guava Lemonade. My panini was freshly prepared. It had a good flavor w/ a nice kick of heat from the habañero aioli (but not spicy in the typical habañero flavor sense). The pulled pork was delicious in taste and texture along with the toppings of muenster cheese, the habañero aioli, red peppers, red onions, and avocado. I should've eaten only one half of the sandwich but I couldn't resist having more, so I finished it. The panini was darn delicious. I liked the restaurant's cozy dining area with outside light coming in. They have a nice patio area as well which would be perfect to sit at on a nice weather day. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked Dario's a lot and will be going for more. Check them out.
