I've heard about this place for a while, and I love that it's a locally run family business. We stopped in for lunch, and the experience was genuinely enjoyable. The space is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and since it was a sunny day, we were able to sit outside on the patio, which made the meal even nicer. We started with the eggplant dip, and as someone who has never liked eggplant, I was honestly surprised by how good it was. It has a creamy, hummus‑like texture and a really balanced flavor. I would absolutely order it again. The gyros were solid -- nothing overly fancy, but exactly what you expect and want from a good gyro. No complaints there. The service was friendly, and you can tell the owners take pride in what they do. Overall, great food, great service, and a business I'm happy to support. Love this food. I've got a crush on garlic so this must be the place to go to! Four of us came in here for dinner last night and we tried a variety of things. To begin, we shared some of their "Tasters" (appetizers) and really enjoyed them. We had the garlic fries, Fried Cauliflower, and Tabboule). I really liked the Tabboule as it is healthy, visually appealing and tasty. We also got a side of the garlic paste to use with our food. This is like a nectar of the gods or something - so delicious! For dinners, we had Chicken Shawarma, Chicken Kebab and Beef Shawarma plates which came with lentil soup. The plates had rice, pita bread and hummus. I absolutely LOVE their hummus. So delectable! There was plenty of food so we got to take home some for leftovers (yay!). All of the food plates were beautifully arranged and the service was very good. I ordered a chicken kebab wrap but they did not put a sufficient amount of chicken. There were 4 bite sized pieces in the wrap, which left me severely disappointed. If I am going to be paying 12 dollars for this I should have more than a portion of chicken that would not even be enough for a toddler. You order at a counter, after which they bring your food to you. I found the service fine. The issue is that the restaurant is quite dirty, and the food is way too pricey for its quality. We got Garlic Fries and the Chicken Shawarma Plate. The latter comes with a soup that I'm guessing was lentil based. It was decent, but it was not rich with flavor. The fries were what I expected: supremely savory and fatty. The Chicken Shawarma plate was super disappointing, though. The chicken was dry and not seasoned. Went here with a friend for lunch yesterday. The chicken kebab gyro was delicious! The chicken was moist and the veggies were fresh and crisp. The garlic paste was a nice touch. They have hot sauce (looks similar to Sambal) that is by the fountain drinks area as well. Service was great! Had a nice conversation with a lady (wish I knew her name) when I ordered my food and a young man was friendly when I left. I will definitely be back! Beef and Lamb Shawarma Plate, $14.50 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Sliced rotisserie beef & lamb mix, grilled onions, tomatoes, hahini, hummus. Served with rice, choice of soup or salad. In and of itself, this is a fine dish. Perfectly normal, almost homey. I do know of better and tastier options elsewhere. Portion wise, it wasn't so big that my hearty appetite hubby couldn't finish. At the other place, it is plenty big enough that he always get two meals out of one order. For this reason alone, it's a much better deal and a major reason to not return to GC. Cauliflower, $5.25 - 3 Stars Menu: Fried cauliflower, house spices, tahini, parsley This is very lightly fried, without breading. I like the light-frying, but it's a trade-off for a pretty-good looking fried floret while the rest of it is limp, borderline mushy. The seasoning and flavor is fine though. My mouth is watering just thinking of the dinner I had recently from Garlic Crush. We like to order take out -- because we know it'll be great when we get home (unlike a lot of food). However, the ambiance of the actual brick and mortar is very nice. Our food is always prepared fresh by their awesome culinary team. They take their time and make sure their work is done right. Disappointing portion sizes and weird menu setup. I paid $27 for Chicken Kebab plate and had paid and ordered online. When I came home I noticed that soup and pita were missing. So they have sneakily made soup and salad optional so you could forget selecting it but pita is still part of original description but is also not shared. When I shared with Grubhub they told me restaurant has set it up this way and refused to help. For a $27 dollar meal feeling cheated and hungry is not really a good look. Let me just say - the dressing on that salad could be bottled up and sold - to me exclusively ;) The chicken was moist & flavorful, the rice was great and the hummus was just glorious. I stopped by this place today since I was already in the area to have lunch and to also pick up few things and take Hone after lunch. Let's first if all start with the unwelcoming attitude of the staff as soon as you walk in. It was more if they are doing us a favor by serving us rather than tearing us as the customers that keeping them employed. I placed my order and I made it clear that I need a shawarma sandwich with only meat , pickles and tehini sauce only and nothing else on the sandwich and I also asked for lentil soup to eat there too then I placed my to go order and again I made it clear to the cashier that I want to eat sandwich and soup at the restaurant. I sat on my table and waited for my food for around 20 minutes to have a guy bringing all of my order in bags including my soup. I let him know that that my lunch was for here not to go but he did not care at all and he walked away. So I had to eat my food there in containers but the worst part was the actual food. The shawarma sandwich was loaded with lettuce and broke in pieces the second I opened the wrap. The pita bread they used was so old and a shawarma sandwich should not have lettuce any way. I could not even taste the meat because of the large amount of lettuce and the bad bread. The soup was good but it was in a container. Now regarding the To go order , the humus was good but they use cheap containers instead of using nice ones that seal. This is just so cheap. The bread was old and disgusting and the gyro sandwich came with tons of lettuce when I said no Lettie. So, between the staff with their attitude problems and since they can't even communicate a simple order in English and their poor food preparation skills , I will give them two stars. Thus place is following the sane exact path of their Bellevue store which can't get one order done correctly. read more

Restaurant was clean and the girl at the front was kind. I asked her if the salad was a good portion as I was hungry. She told me yes and with the Diet Coke it would be plenty. I got the chicken salad and it was not nearly enough or good. The actual salad part was small and the whole thing including dressing was bland. The quality of the meat was extremely sub-par. It was clear that the meat was "aged" and not in a good way, dry, tough and lacking flavor. The meat was clearly not recently sliced off a rotating skewer of meat that most gyro establishments have. If I had to guess the meat was at least a day or two old or something left over. Had a couple of bites and then tried giving it to my dog but he wasn't interested either. Ended up throwing out the entire meal. Was my first time ordering from Garlic Crush.. and probably my last.
