The Redmond location is ALWAYS consistent with their quality of food, my personal favorite is the chicken kebab salad; I also order some of their famous garlic paste to go along with it. I use that instead of the dressing it comes with. The greens and veggies in the salad are always crisp, the chicken is so juicy and flavorful, and the dressing is still good. It's tangy and a little sweet, but I'm telling you guys, swap the dressing for some garlic paste and it is CHEFS KISS!!! A little on your fork with each bite is immaculate. Garlic fries are a staple, some are crispy, some are soggy but the feta and garlic sauce drizzle make them highly addictive. This post will apply to ALL the Garlic Crush locations. This is supposed to be Greek Mediterranean Food, not Indian or Russian. Let me explain. I went here the other day spent $100 on this place, first of all, the Hummus had ZERO Garlic and was very watery. The Tzatziki was 100% mayonnaise... I like Mayo, but as a French man, I know Mayonnaise is French not Greek. And Tzatziki sauce should NOT have mayo in it, it's yogurt cucumber and some other stuff, I feel like I should just come down there and make it for you all to show you how it's done. Then the meat, beef & lamb looked like boiled dog food and more like Beef Stroganoff (which is actually better) and was flavorless the rice was dry and the Spanakopita was not only bland, but $7 for a tiny peice, you can get a better deal at the supermarket. The chicken kabobs were also super dry, like choking dry and had Indian spices, which was weird as all hell. Also, the bread they have is extremely dry, like choking status dry and it looks like they buy it from Safeway, which is weird. I found out the dude who owns these is a Microsoft guy.... should've stuck with computers man cause food is not your thing. Garlic Crush is a nice Mediterranean restaurant in the rising part of Redmond. I like the name I ordered the gyro sandwich combo which comes with fries and a soda. They serve a good-sized gyro. It is loaded with many slice of sliced lamb that is seasoned very well. The tzatziki sauce was very good--and could have used some more. There was also a little too much lettuce and not enough tomato or onion--but still good, surrounded by a good pita. The fries were kind of a disappointment. The seasoning was very good, but the fries themselves were not very crispy and not cooked all the way through (like the heat on the oil was not hot enough--combined with the potatoes being sliced too thickly). I ordered a falafel pita sandwich but it was more or less wrapped like a burrito with a thin whole wheat tortilla wrap. So I don't know, maybe that's the tradition with Garlic Crush, but I was expecting something more like a pita bread. I've been to the Bellevue location many, many times and this was just as good - from what I recall - as that. I picked up the Meat Combo Plate, so I could try a little of everything. The meat was all well-seasoned, not try or over cooked. Very good. I thought portion was very generous as well. Between the slightly-buttery rice, pita and hummus, meat and salad, I was very satisfied. My husband went to pick up our dinner order this evening to find the women at the cash register not wearing gloves nor masks. We're in our 60's and took a chance on splurging for restaurant food today. The cooks were not wearing masks, but had gloves on. There was pexi glass too, so that's good. They ought to at least have hand sanitizer available by the register. During a pandemic, it's still important to wear protection for the sake of your employees and customers alike. It indicates a lack of concern. We usually like the good quality food here, but we both noticed the quality seemed less than usual )more dark meat chicken and not as visually pleasing as usual). My coworkers and I ordered from here last week for lunch. I got the falafel sandwich (added feta), fried cauliflower, and we all split a Greek fries. The falafel sandwich was good, the falafel was crisp how I like, and there was an adequate amount of tzatziki. The cauliflower was also tasty, however I imagined it to be more crisp considering the menu said it was fried. The quantity is also very little. The Greek fries come as a large order. The garlic sauce and feta make it a flavorful side, however the fries were very soft/soggy. Garlic crush is one of my go-to places in the neighborhood. I really like their chicken plate, it is just enough flavor and nutrients for a meal when I'm too lazy to cook myself. However, every time when I go to the restaurant in person, either to eat in or to order takeout, something goes wrong with the service. They have confused the items and would not want to replace, forgotten to put pitas when they should go with the order, or would be unfriendly. It is really upsetting and I'm considering just cooking garlic crush-inspired dishes at home. Popped in here after seeing a play. We were looking for a little snack it's more like a fast food type of restaurant but the food is delicious. We split the small babba ghannouj with pita, spannakopita, large taboule salad and had a taste of the baklava. Loved the babba ghanouj it had a wonderful smokiness to it. We both liked it so much we bought a large containers each to bring home. The taboule salad had nice fresh ingredients and was well balanced. Gyro (check), Shwarma (check), Fountain-drinks (check)... It feels needless to write a review on this place except to add to the collective knowledge and round out my reviews with some middle of the road recommendations. GC is serviceable if what you're hoping for is meat on a pita or bed of rice with hummus. It has garlic fries too. They're ok. The people who work at the one in Redmond all speak Spanish. No one seems that invested or knowledgeable about the food. I guess that's inevitable, as you have to grow, but it feels like the people could really care less if they were serving Baba Ganoush or Philly Cheesesteaks. It makes the food feel artificial, which is unfortunate as I'm sure someone cares about it. Just no one at the Redmond location. Food is good, kind of plain but it works the way the food at Dennys works at 2am.
