    Fried Cauliflower Taster
    Paul K.

Love this food. I've got a crush on garlic so this must be the place to go to! Four of us came in here for dinner last night and we tried a variety of things. To begin, we shared some of their "Tasters" (appetizers) and really enjoyed them. We had the garlic fries, Fried Cauliflower, and Tabboule). I really liked the Tabboule as it is healthy, visually appealing and tasty. We also got a side of the garlic paste to use with our food. This is like a nectar of the gods or something - so delicious! For dinners, we had Chicken Shawarma, Chicken Kebab and Beef Shawarma plates which came with lentil soup. The plates had rice, pita bread and hummus. I absolutely LOVE their hummus. So delectable! There was plenty of food so we got to take home some for leftovers (yay!). All of the food plates were beautifully arranged and the service was very good. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I highly recommend Garlic Crush for some great food!

I stopped by here today for a Greek salad. The salad was yummy, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu had lots of options, and the customer service was good.

Grilled Lamb Plate ($19.95), Baba Gannouj ($6.75)

Ordered the Grilled Lamb Plate ($18.95) and Baba Gannouj ($6.75) for delivery. These were delivery prices. Everything was awesome. The Lamb was perfectly cooked and nicely balanced in terms of lean / fat. The rice was nicely scented and the hummus was super creamy. The Baba Gannouj was extra smokey. Good portions too.

You should really read all of the reviews before coming here. I knew the reviews weren't great but checked this place out anyway because I was in the mood for Mediterranean food and most places had closed by 8 PM. You order at a counter, after which they bring your food to you. I found the service fine. The issue is that the restaurant is quite dirty, and the food is way too pricey for its quality. We got Garlic Fries and the Chicken Shawarma Plate. The latter comes with a soup that I'm guessing was lentil based. It was decent, but it was not rich with flavor. The fries were what I expected: supremely savory and fatty. The Chicken Shawarma plate was super disappointing, though. The chicken was dry and not seasoned. It definitely did not taste like shawarma.

Ordered a gyro plate through door dash. Opened the lid, my 1st response was what the F? Did they run out of ingredients? This is not a $20 gyro plate, it's more like $10-$12. I can literally count how many pieces of meat in there. I have had gyro plate from other restaurants around east side, nothing like this, the portion is a joke. This is my 1st time order from them, for sure it's the last time. Think twice before you order food from them, there is a good reason why the restaurant only receives 3 1/2 stars while majority of other similar type of restaurants receive 4+ stars.

    Falafel Sandwich

I've been to Garlic Crush's original location in Bellevue, but this was the first time at the Redmond location. Oddly, their menu had all the prices blacked out. How does one know how much each item costs when ordering? Not sure if they are in the middle of changing prices or what is happening with the menu. Nevertheless, ordered a falafel sandwich at the counter and sat down at a table with a number to wait for my food. Falafel sandwich was good and I finished it all. Great place for Mediterranean food!

Actual the food is really nice and the service was welcoming. I'm gonna go there again

    Cauliflower, $5.25 - 3 Stars

It's my first visit to Garlic Crush. It's likely my last, as other restaurants closer to home has similar offerings that are just as good or better and with bigger portions. Not necessarily a slam on GC, just the reality of distance. If I lived closer to GC, I might return despite the differences. We phoned in our order. The food was ready in 20 minutes. We drove over to pick up. Street parking. There are some retail parking at these mix used buildings, but we typically find street parking easy enough. FYI there is a lot of construction in downtown Redmond. If you're here during weekday, work hours, be aware. Beef and Lamb Shawarma Plate, $14.50 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Sliced rotisserie beef & lamb mix, grilled onions, tomatoes, hahini, hummus. Served with rice, choice of soup or salad. In and of itself, this is a fine dish. Perfectly normal, almost homey. I do know of better and tastier options elsewhere. Portion wise, it wasn't so big that my hearty appetite hubby couldn't finish. At the other place, it is plenty big enough that he always get two meals out of one order. For this reason alone, it's a much better deal and a major reason to not return to GC. Cauliflower, $5.25 - 3 Stars Menu: Fried cauliflower, house spices, tahini, parsley This is very lightly fried, without breading. I like the light-frying, but it's a trade-off for a pretty-good looking fried floret while the rest of it is limp, borderline mushy. The seasoning and flavor is fine though. Tabbouleh, $4.95 (small) - 3 Stars Menu: Chopped parsley, mint, crushed wheat, tomatoes, onions, lemon juice, olive oil This one is ok. Lacked flavor. Squeezed in the lemons but didn't help.

CHICKEN KEBAB PLATE* + FRIES* + SALAD

Wow the food was out of this world good! We ordered the chicken kebab plate, seasoned fries and a side salad. Let me just say - the dressing on that salad could be bottled up and sold - to me exclusively ;) The chicken was moist & flavorful, the rice was great and the hummus was just glorious. The amount of garlic was perfectly balanced. The restaurant has plenty of seating and had high chairs readily available. Super random but the water there was super good too for some reason haha! I would definitely come here again! Probably the best Mediterranean food I've had in a long time.

Always enjoy my food from here. It's quick and tasty. The prices being a little high is the only downside.

Even when the restaurant isn't busy, I've had to wait around 40 minutes for my order on multiple occasions. Because of that, I'll probably stick to pickup orders going forward. That being said, the food is very good. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but the sandwiches are absolutely delicious and have been my favorite items so far. The staff is friendly and gets the job done efficiently. They may not always be the most cheerful, but they've always been professional and helpful whenever I've visited. One thing to keep in mind is that the dining area is quite small. It's fine for a quick meal, but it may not be the best option if you're planning to come with a large group since most of the seating is limited to small tables. A big plus is that they're open late, which is great when you're looking for a good meal after most other places have already closed. Overall, great food and convenient hours. If the wait times improve, this could easily become one of my regular spots.
