However, the amount of time it takes to cook the food with zero people in the restaurant... We are literally the only people here...is pretty unacceptable. Okay guys. We need to have a SERIOUS talk here. If I was basing my rating on my experience alone regarding take out tonight, this would be a 1 Star review. Period. You guys dropped the ball. Having someone sitting for 30 minutes after having notification that your food would be ready at a specific time can only mean one thing. You're kitchen is lazy and are not focused enough to pump out food in a timely manner. Let's look at it this way. If we had come into the restaurant and ordered, we would have been sitting for about an hour before getting our food. That is unacceptable. What frustrates me more was that I had 1 person ask me why I was there, went to look for my order, came back out but ignored me instead of filling me in on what was happening. 15 minutes later, I had someone ask me why I was there, went to check on my order, only to come out empty handed and tell me it's being bagged. 10 minutes later, a manager came and asked me the same thing. Comes back out and tells me it's being bagged and will be out shortly. This told me 3 things. The first guy didn't check on MY ORDER, the second guy lied to me, and the Manager FAILED at following through. The only thing that changed my 1 star to a 3 star review is this. You just happen to have some of the best wings around. If you are going to do take out, you must do better. read more

A great ale house/ sports bar for this area. I've been many of times as we visit family in Windermere. The customer service over the phone or in person is always pleasant. The chicken wings are so good! I always try to get a new flavor when we go or order out. I think the prices since the pandemic are a bit steep compared to their competitors but nonetheless this Gators location is a good spot. read more

My boyfriend and I primarily came here on either Mondays or Wednesdays for the for their unlimited wings (boneless and bone-in). In 2020 & 2021 I recall the unlimited deal be about $14.99-16.99, but as of 1/17/22 (the last time we dined there in a while), the unlimited deal was $19.99. The wings and sauces are good, but not that good. Unless the price goes back down, I don't expect to dine here again for the wings. We came back here after seeing someone eating a burger outside on bench a few days earlier. Glad we did! Ordered the pretzel as an appetizer for three people and it was perfect and tasty! My meal was a Greek salad with gyro meat. It was yummy! Only complaint is it didn't have any pepperocinis in it. It also didn't have beets either but I don't like those anyway. The dressing was good. My hubby had an amazing burger. Cooked medium as requested. It was so juicy and tasty. Definitely would get that again. His fries were just average but my nephews tater tots were really good. Boneless wings, regular wings, Cobb salad, fish tacos and steak poutine. Our food took forever to arrive. Our waitress checked on us here and there before the food arrived. But it still took ages. This place is really going downhill. The food is mediocre at best with a very unimaginative menu. The service is horrible. Nathan not only didn't seem to know the menu, but he cheated me out of $7.25 in rewards points. I had a $10 birthday reward which he didn't seem able to handle so we asked for a manager - 3 times - who never appeared. According to Nathan the manager told him to apply my existing $7.25 in rewards and manually add $2.75 to come up to $10. I SHOULD have been able to use both, whether in the same transaction or not. I told Alex my dilemma and he went to Robbie another manager and after it was all said and done, they sent me home with Wingers and spicy mussels (done to perfection) and would not charge me for them! Went here on a whim looking for late night food. The menu has a large selection of items. I ordered the Gyro Greek Salad and my husband had Boneless Wings and Chili. If you want a good bang for your buck I would recommend the endless boneless wings on Wednesdays! You can change which sauce you get with each order of wings which is a great way to try out several sauces. My only small complaints are that I typically prefer my wings with a little more breading and the amount of sauce you get on the wings is inconsistent. The good: we were seated earlier than or expected wait time (20 minutes), while we were waiting for our table one of the hosts offered us free soda (woohoo!) and that's about it. The good things stopped when we were seated. The bad: our food took WAY too long to come out. Fries were cold, buns were soggy. It just wasn't good. My mom was the only one in our party who enjoyed her food and she had salad. You can't really mess up lettuce and dressing. Our waitress was nice though and did apologize for the wait several times. I guess I just don't get the hype. Even though it is one of the few restaurants within a few minute drive from our house I would MUCH rather prefer to drive further to get better quality food. My wife and I called into the Windermere restaurant and were shocked that virtually all the female servers had long hair and not one had their hair tied back or pinned up. Our food came out and as the server placed it on the table she flicked her hair back and her hair brushed across my burger, absolutely disgusting ! My wife and her sister split the spinach-artichoke dip (it was a bit "thick") and got grilled wings and enjoyed them. My Brother in Law got rib and chicken and it was good. I got buffalo style (deep fried) wings with the Scooters Own sauce (hot honey garlic). Very good. I would give Gator's 5* and am tempted to only give it 3* because the server dumper my Brother in Law's tea in his lap. In another day and age that might have cost the server a black eye but "he's much better now." Disappointed with the wing platter that was ordered through door dash. Food quality was poor and could have been avoided by properly packaging the food. Fries and wings came in the same box leaving the fries soggy. Portion of Mac and cheese was tiny for what we paid and tasted awful. No flavor and literally tasted like it came out of can.
