When this place first opened, it was great. The food is typical Gatti food and I actually enjoy it. The games were better than Chuck-E-cheese and the setup was nicer. However, I've gone three times in the past year and I'm getting more and more disappointed with them. First, you pay to get in (disadvantage if you aren't interested in eating). So you must eat to make it worth it. The food is still good (if you like this type of food). But the gaming center and TV room (large room with the TV's) have really gone downhill. The last 2 times, the TV's haven't worked and are basically static. The kids enjoy watching random cartoon shows while we eat, but they haven't worked. The games are more and more not working. Some of the games (the frog jump, bumper cars, and racing games) require an attendant and they are hard to find. They are under staffed. They are pretty quick to refund your cost if something doesn't work, but more and more, it's annoying that things don't work. I used to prefer this place over Chuck-e-cheese, but since you don't have to pay for Chuck-e-Cheese and now the game quality is almost equal, I will probably head that direction instead. read more

I paid for the lunch buffet which comes with a drink and in place I asked for a foam cup so I can take it to go when I finish. Cashier said it was going to be $1.17 for a foam cup when they've already charged me for a drink. I asked for the manager and I guess the price went to .54 cents from $1.17... Wow! Even have paid for the drink already $1.69 I can't get a to go cup? Every business gives you to go cups when you ask. She said the charge as for the cups because they have to buy more. Just. Wow. Restrooms are about as clean as a neglected porta potty on a hot summer day. Broken stall doors that don't promise privacy and won't close. Smells like something died as well. Only one soap dispenser working the whole 4 hours i was there and weirdly enough the sinks were all different temperatures..? Honestly one sink was too hot for kids hands but ok. I mean and it doesn't help that the ticket counter was managed poorly (lines as long as the judgment evaluation in heaven), as well as the broken card balance readers. In my opinion, Gatti-Town is way over-priced. The games add up and before you know it, you have spent $40. The food is o.k. and is all-you-can-eat, so that's good. Because I am an animal-lover and have small children, I was extremely offended by a shooting game they have that shows the deer being shot and falling down dead with blood everywhere. My daughter happened to be walking by while a kid was playing that game and I thought it was very inappropriate. She was shaken up after seeing that. A place that markets itself toward kids should think twice about promoting guns and having kids play games that show falling down, bloody animals. That's my own opinion. read more

I remember coming here in the past and having a great meal/experience. First of all, register girl said they do not take vouchers from the mail, because their buffet offers more than the usual stores and they charge more. If that's the case, do not print vouchers for the public to use. Second, all the pizza is cold, and keep in mind the place is packed. Third, it's completely filthy in here: floors are all sticky, empty tables are a mess, bathrooms are disgusting. This location has really hit rock bottom. If you're just craving pizza, may I suggest Double Dave's around the corner or hit up another restaurant to have a good meal/time. Our last visit was awful, everything was dirty, bathroom had no toilet paper. Pizza was either all the same kind or none at all, it was cold and burnt. People serving had bad attitudes... This place is understaffed. The place was busy and a complete mess at 8 pm on a Saturday. Several tables had not been bussed, the floors were dirty, ice machines were empty, the salad bar needed to be refilled, etc. I observed staff working furiously so conditions were not due to laziness. Wednesday evening from about 5:30 to 6:30 or so. We took my 6 year old to dinner and games for his birthday. My other boys are 14 and 20. They all had a pretty good time including my husband. They did say that a few of the games they wanted to play were "out of order". At the cash register we ordered our buffets and $30 worth of game money which would have come out to $60 or so. However the cashier was kind enough to ring us up with the special and saved us $10 or more. Our table were bussed often and the busboys were very nice. There was a decent variety of pizza and the buffet was pretty well stocked. The pizza cook was also nice enough to ask if there was anything special I was looking for. The tables were tidy, the floors did have food on them but personally I blame the individuals who make that kind of mess in the first place. All in all I found I got what I was expecting. Perhaps the experience was even better because all the employees I encountered were attentive and pleasant. Including the young man who helped the birthday boy with the bumper cars. For $20.99, you can eat -n- drink and get a $20 game card for the game room. My girlfriend and I both hadn't been in years, so we thought to check it out. For a Friday summer night, it wasn't too bad. I will say that the amount of kids running wild within the main buffet area was a bit annoying. I remember why I don't really like places like this again when I see that the cups placed at all the refill stations are still wet. I'm not sure of the dishwashing quality, but the food was decent. I admired the large mural paintings on the walls and the sun shade blinds. We were able to sit peacefully and enjoy our meal without too much interruptions or loud noises. As far as the game room goes, there's a lot of games to choose from and the black chairs they have to sit down our also a nice addition. If we decide we want a cheap decent pizza buffet, I'll come here again. read more

The new Gatti's in South Park Meadows: Has replaced the old one in Oak hill and replace is right. The game room has some of the most up-to-date games. Food is now fresh every day. The staff will take action on eveything I have asked for or had a problem with. One of the most cleanest resturants I have been too. The price is very good for a family of 4, You get a ton ow bang for the buck. The only thing I would change is the prize's they have in redemption. They are great but they could do better. I come here from time to time and first let me say the buffet and games are overpriced and the quality of the pizza can depend on what time you go. If you go when it's slow they'll have a lot of pizza but it's usually stale and warm/cold. If you go when it's crowded the food will generally always be hot and fresh but the selection is not all that great for the amount of space they have. But I like the seating and the pizza is actually rather good when it's fresh so I'd say it's pretty...decent. read more

I am doing a few reviews after a trip to Austin with my family. Mainly because I yelped everything before checking out the sites and my experience was not that of the last reviews I read. I went here for lunch with my wife and sons this past weekend. The guy at the register was friendly and when I pulled out a coupon he helped me figure out how much of a deal I was getting with it. The salad bar was fully stocked and the pizza was hot and ready to go. There were a couple of pizzas we had to wait a bit for but nothing to knock off a star for as there was so much food to grab while you're waiting. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. My kids had a blast at the arcade and they made off with plenty of loot from the prize area. The only downside was the lack of employees at the arcade section. There are a few games that require the staff to operate and they were hard to find. Besides that we enjoyed it. read more

We were at this location today at around 4pm. It was my grandsons 6th birthday yesterday and since we celebrated yesterday, we planned on eating, midway and having his BD cake. The staff from front to back was exceptional. The place was clean and the buffet was fully stocked and fresh. The young ladies that greeted us at the door were very personable. The employees bussing the tables were polite and the staff in the Midway were very accomodating. An experience like this, just helps you to enjoy your time with your family. Gattitown is officially the worst place to take your kids although my children loved it I as a parent had quite a few concerns first there was a bunch of black roachs every where and the booths were horriblely fithly as well the food was bad worst than the gattis pizza that I occasionally vist and if that's not bad enough the game room is quite pricy for the crappy little toys givin and the employees were the worst a bunch of rude teenagers avoiding you to bullshits their job and finally after chasing one of them down I was told that he didn't know how to operate the bumper cars and directed my to kelsy a manger that although helped alot with the bumper cars was the rudest person I've ever encountered in life read more

My friends described the mac and cheese as "mac and barf", if that gives you an idea of the food quality. There was a large selection of pizza, but it looked and tasted very cheaply made. Not to mention the tables were pretty sticky and crowded. Most of the games were for earning tickets in which you could buy little trinkets and candy. I recently attended a birthday party here for my cousin. I am a FAN! The party package my family got was a great deal!! Our party host Jerica was FANTASTIC!! She was on top of everything room was kept cleaned, pizzas fresh, drinks NEVER went bone dry!! I noticed she had a different color shirt on then the rest so I assumed she was manager well she sure did show her colors!! Any detail or question we had for her she was very helpful and knew every answer. Not only helped us but her co- workers as well that's a GREAT LEADER!! I never write reviews but this place is SOOOO terrible and disgusting, I feel obligated to. As soon as you walk in the floors make noise when you walk on them, and this is EVERYWHERE in this gross place except for the bathrooms and NOT for a good reason. The bathrooms are literally DISGUSTING! The floors have such a thick film of grime on them, you make foot prints when you walk. There is no telling how many days or weeks worth of pee and feces is on the floor bc it feels like you're walking on a waxy film when walking on them, even the family RR! The stalls are so gross and in need of cleaning, trash bins are over filled in stalls AND the ones by the sink. Soap dispensers are empty and broken ones are just laying on the counters (at least put it away until it fixed.) I informed a manage how gross they were and she just said ok we'll make our way that way. More than an hour later all they had done was pick up the trash on the floor and that was it!! If that was was their idea of "cleaning" , how disgusting is the back! I absolutely regret having my family eat there. I should have known when 2 out of the 3 fountains drinks were empty for ice and all 3 had nasty tasting sprite so we have to change all of the kids drinks. Mind you this is midday on a Tuesday when school is in. So no excuse that it was too busy or any excuse for that matter. There were PLENTY of people there and at least 3 of them were managers which was appalling to see that none of them had any standards what so ever! And it just gets better. The game lady attendant was an absolute joke. Quite a few games, you had to get her in order to play them and when asked you would think you were asking her for a kidney! I wanted to ask her if she had an "eye condition" bc she rolled them so much. Even my 7 ur old daughters sensed it. Absolutely terrible experience all the way around. You could not PAY me to change my review or to even try that place again. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK. that place needs ALL NEW MANAGERS with actual standards or someone to at least pop in and check in on things to see that place is absolutely disgusting!!!! read more

This resturant is great the employees were super nice and helpful even the manager helped me out which is awsome because they never usually say anything to you. I love the variety of food especially because I have picky eaters . The game room was way better than chuckie cheeses there is way more games and prizes to choose from. Took my kids, ages 3 and 5, to visit for the first time tonight! Pizza is what you might expect from a buffet. They have a large buffet area but only a few different types of pizza, mostly pepperoni or sausage. They are crowd favorites so I'm not surprised. They crank it out fairly quickly and the fresh slices are decent, better yet the fresh cheesy bread is a definite winner. They did run out of plates at one point as it got busier but it was only a few minutes until they restocked. They did have employees bussing tables constantly, wiping down surfaces and stocking as fast as possible so I know it's not for lack of trying, there's just great demand at peak hours. The restrooms were a little scary, some clogged and dirty toilets. I think cleanliness issues are largely due to the nature of the place with kids running around unsupervised and dropping trash, etc. The game room is a nice size. Since my kids are still young it was just enough to be impressed but not too overwhelmed. The noise however is deafening at times with some of the games. My kids loved the mini bowling, mini air hockey table and frog jumper ride. We will likely go back during a less crowded time. The special family of 4 buffet, drinks and $20 in game play for $40 was a nice deal (the buffet alone for 2 adults and 2 kids would've been $30 and that's without drinks!). read more

Wow, I thought I was in Mexico. Waiters could not speak English, the cashier and cooks spoke English as I spoke to them. I asked several of the waiting staff/table cleaners where the restrooms were and they looked at me like I spoke chinese to them. The waiter spoke to another one in Spanish and that one said "pecito English" as you can tell I only speak English. So I ended up asking a person behind the counter and he told me where they where. On top of this rediclious crap of not speaking English they only had 3 types of pizza. Pepperoni, cheese, and hamburger. I now know why they moved from oak hill to this location. I hadn't been there in years and know I remember why. Worst pizza by Mr gatti I have ever had, yes absolutely the worst! Good luck eating here.
