He was clear about the service call fee (which is to be expected with tradesmen) but it would be applied toward the cost of the repair if I decided to proceed. I was considering purchasing a new dryer from either Lowe's or Home Depot if the cost of the repair was high. He opened up the dryer and quickly found the problem - a broken belt. The part was difficult to find because of my brand of dryer. He was back within the hour with the part and had my drying humming along perfectly. Cost of the repair was less than I would have paid in taxes, had I decided to purchase a new dryer. Glad I called. I would highly recommend James and his small business.
