If you're in the mood for something relatively healthy, this is the spot to go to. It's like a self-serve buffet with your own chef all rolled into one. You walk up to the cashier, pay for your bowl. Next, you are given a tray, plastic bowl and tongs. You use the tongs in the meat to select the meat items you want. They have very thinly sliced beef, turkey, pork and chicken. Next, you use your tongs to select all the veggies you want/can fit in your ball like from baby corn, broccoli, carrots, water, chestnuts, onions, bell peppers, jalapeños, pineapple, cilantro, etc. etc. This is a skill and balancing act as everyone adds lots of toppings trying to get the most bang for your buck. Next the workers will put the garlic and spice on top of your bowl and then you wait for your items to be cooked. You can do mild, medium or spicy. Once they add your bowl on the round super hot flat top stove they add noodles as well. There's other items on the menu that you can add in, but that's the basic set up and it is simply delicious! The flavor is lite, not salty at all and has an Asian flavor with the sauce being thin so it's flavorful without being thick or sweet. The fresh chopped garlic they add really enhances the flavor. You can choose a shrimp bowl, protein bowl so you're opting out of the noodles, a side of white rice or chicken noodle soup. They have a shield over the food and you get your own tongs to select all your veggies. They are constantly cleaning and keeping the area neat I go to the location in the Del Amo Mall but they have other locations as well. If you've never tried it you definitely need to go!

I haven't had Mongolian Wok in ages and decided to come for lunch today. I saw someone who packed their meat down in the bowl with a napkin, so I did the same to get more food in, lol. Having tried a lot of the food at the food court, I would say this is probably one of the best-tasting options. I like the variety and the food seems fresh. But although I asked for no spice, the food still had a kick because it was cooked on the same griddle that many people had spicy food on. This unfortunately made my meal too spicy to share with my toddler, so she only got a soft pretzel for lunch. :( The prices are a bit high, but you get a lot of food, so next time I will probably share a meal with my dad instead of both of us having leftovers. It's a bit salty, too.... But that's kinda on par with restaurant food.

The food has not changed aside for the smaller bowls. I don't eat much so not enough for me to stop coming here. The customer service has gone completely down hill. Male at register is annoyed with his job & has no customer service to give. Cooks same, almost feels like I am bothering them to provide a service they are being paid to provide. Will continue going to the Lakewood mall instead of here. Noise is minimal on weekdays . Two starts on the food. Zero on the customer service.

The food is too salty, today is 3/14/26 10:46 am but I refunded my payment. It happened long time ago and I'm thinking maybe it will be good now. I've been eating there always, I don't know what happen to the ingredients and the taste is not like before. Hopefully the owner will get the chance to read this. I don't know why when I asks for a cup of water the lady cashier most of the time will tell me that they have water bottle. Attached here is the receipt and the refunded receipt as a proof.

    Only received 2 plates.

This is the second time I order on Door-dash & they NEVER fail to NOT give my my FULL order. I ordered a combo & a side plate. Door dasher let me know that they refused to give him the drink that I didn't have a "combo." I didn't receive my pink lemonade & 2 sides of rices. To top it off? They don't answer their phone.

Dined in at Gengis Khan on 6/19/24 at Del Amo mall and we enjoyed it! The bowl is $15 which is high especially for someone who doesn't know the tactics of how to pack a bowl. Seeing other people's bow, man we felt like we got jipped. Next time, we know what to do. We enjoyed our food, the noodles were delicious, the sauce and garlic are a must which brings out all the flavors. They have pretty good veggies options. They are located in the food court and they get busy! The ambiance is cool and clean.

I try to never bash a business, but there are times when I feel the public should be warned. Such is the case with the Genghis Khan in the Torrence South Bay Galleria mall. I've seen some pretty horrifying things around restaurants in the Middle and Far East, but I've never witnessed a disgusting, filthy Health Department nightmare as this Genghis Kahn. The floor was covered, and I mean covered with food. You wouldn't be able to walk down the counter without walking in food. The counter was equally covered in food. The condiment area was a filthy, disgusting mess. I haven't been shocked in a while, but I was tonight. I sat for about 15 minutes taking it all in, and never saw an employee make the slightest move to clean up the carnage. This place was downright frightening to behold. I'd suggest you steer well clear of it.

Horrible service. It was my first time going to Genghis Khan and I was treated like I was dumb. Gregory, a server, spoke very poorly to me.

This isn't my first time reviewing Ayan (Yelp hit me with the "Do you recommend this place?"…read moreprompt)... and yeah, I still absolutely do. The ramen is rich, comforting, and borderline addictive--but it's the combo of fall-off-the-bone ribs and a cold pitcher of Blue Moon that really sets the tone. Add good company and a vibe that feels both elevated and effortless, and suddenly you're staying way longer than planned. The staff is always on point--attentive, friendly, never rushed. It's the kind of spot that feels like a hidden gem even if it's in your regular rotation. I am a little bummed they're no longer open for weekday lunch (my solo ramen therapy sessions will have to be weekend-only now), but the food and the energy are still top-tier. Ayan continues to be one of my favorite places to eat, drink, and feel like a local.

My fiancé's Genghis Khan Ramen tasted like canned chicken soup. As I finished pouring the pitcher of water into my glass cup, I noticed some black sediment pour out, disgusting! We told the waitress about it and all she came up with was that it might be the dust looming over our table that fell down. The servers don't actually come by and check on you. You have to ring a bell for them to come by and see how things are going. We ordered 6 different meals and each meal arrived at random times. So as I was already halfway through my meal, my partner then had received hers and that same momentum is was carried on until the last person's order was delivered to our table. I didn't understand what the concept was. it feels like it's an Asian restaurant, but then there were these multiple big screen t.v.'s playing highlights of baseball. Is this supposed to be a sports bar?? The food was 3/10 The water was -1/10 The service was 3/10 The ambiance was 2/10 Not coming back here again.

The noodles, meats, and other topics come separate from the broth which is my preference, otherwise they'd probably be soggy by the time I got to it. The broth was really good. Mildly spicy as I like it and not too fatty/oily. The flavors here were wonderful. The noodle portions were solid as well. I was stuffed after eating all of this! I also got their gyoza, fries, and sausage appetizer. It was okay. The fries weren't the best, the gyoza was a little dry, but the sausages were smokey. Looks like one room has singing or karaoke at night?! The Ramen I got totally hit the spot. I love garlic Ramen. There were a lot of great flavors and textures in the Ramen and I was able to adjust the spice level on the miso. I think I went with medium it was a good level, not spicy. The karage chicken was crispy on the side moist on the inside. Love the bite-size pieces. The gyozas were OK, but I kind of found the inside a little bit mushy which left the flavor a little bit flat. But the outside texture was great. Still, I would definitely go back and try other things and go for the ramen happy hour!
