I always request that my chicken be grilled extra well done but tonight I arrived and watched from start to finish as the cashier filled my bowl with the same chicken that had already been sitting out even though I always ask for my chicken to be grilled extra well done. She even admitted that the chicken had been sitting out for roughly 20 minutes when it's clearly printed on my receipt that I requested my chicken be grilled well done. The cashier stated that she is unsure of whether or not they are unable to fulfill special instructions as such. I put salad, white rice, bbq beef, cooked brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes and almost all the veggie choices plus all the toppings into my bowl with a side of peanut sauce. It was pretty much a mess, but it was tasty and felt pretty good about eating it. The Bbq beef was marinated well. I didn't finish the whole thing but it was huge! The soba noodles and peanut sauce are *chef's kiss*. Topped with all kinds of goodness like pickled carrots and onions, cucumbers, corn, zucchini, cilantro, and nori. I got the brussel sprouts and they really didn't do anything for the dish. The woman at the counter was really helpful and even let me try the spicy pork. I'm glad she did because it was way too spicy for me, I started coughing. And I like spicy foods, I think it was over seasoned, so that's why I went for the salmon. It was cooked perfectly too. This is a great lunch/dinner spot close to the Walmart that's near Normandie and Knox in Torrance. The order flow is similar to that of Chipotle, with protein options (my salmon was perfect), lots of veg and spice choices. My lunch was ~ $14 incl. tax (because I added tasty $2.50 guacamole and tipped--they put extra effort/skill into my full order).
