    Spicy Pork
    Robert D.

We wanted to get take out for our 24hour shift at the hospital and we all agreed on this fresh, tasty Korean restaurant. I chose the spicy pork and whoa - blown away with the variety of veggies and flavors in this bowl. And they just kept coming layer by layer. Once I got down to the kimchi rice - I was fully in love. Didn't get to experience service or ambiance because of takeout but next time :)

When you're in a time crunch and you need something quick with a good sized portion for a reasonable price, this is the spot. Service at this Torrance location is quick, the ladies helping me today were super friendly, and they have ample seating with a very clean interior & counters. It's been at least 2 years since I've been here but I'm glad the food quality is still there with a minimal price increase if any at all.

ON + ON provides a great taste of Korean-American cuisine, with ample veggies and sides available for each bowl. It was a very chipotle-esque experience, with you building your bowl as you move along the stations. I opted for their beef bowl and loaded it up with brussel sprouts, mushrooms and broccoli, and a plethora of other vegetables. The bowl was refreshing, very filling, and felt pretty balanced in terms of nutrition. Their peanut sauce was really delectable! My only drawback is some of their veggies tasted a bit stale since I did visit as they were closing up, so I definitely recommend you visit earlier in the day.

Spoiled zucchini added to our bowls

My husband and I are regulars here getting meals a few times a month at least for either delivery or in store pick up and we're usually big fans. However, tonight was probably one of our worst visits. Upon entering the store visibly most food on the line up just looked old. When we brought our bowls home to eat you can smell some of the vegetables already went bad. Most especially we both got the zucchini and it was spoiled rotten. I usually split my bowl to save half for the next day but you could tell it was all food that would've gone bad tonight. Extremely disappointed in our visit. Hoping it was just a one time thing, but makes it s hesitant to want to come back again.

Have been here twice and both times the food has been tasty, fresh and well seasoned. Plenty of parking and great staff!

You really can't go wrong at On +On. Every ingredient is so flavorful. Before I became vegan my go to was building my own salmon salad. Now I just build my own salad I pretty much add everything.. and every veggie is packed with deliciousness! And they have so many topping options... and we can't forget the guac!

Like a healthier, tastier Korean chipotle For price point, this was so good! Personally felt like it could have used a tad more sauce flavor, so I know to add that for next time. Ingredients tasted super fresh and they give such an assortment of veggies- big fan :) I got the classic beef bbq bowl with hot sauce on side + extra brussel sprouts + added fried shallots. Def would come back! Super quick to go food, but you can also eat there. No alcohol license if anyone was curious

Ask the Community - ON + ON Fresh Korean Kitchen

NO tofu? What sauces are vegan? Is the rice prepared with water or stock? We are vegan and would like to know.

The Nori sauce is vegan. The kimchi products have fish oil so avoid those. I believe the rice is cooked with water but you'll have to double check.

The panko crumbs on the chicken was nice and light. It was perfectly fried and not too hard/over crispy. The meat was also juicy. My toddler ate 3 large pieces of it and kept complimenting how tasty it was. The kim chi fried rice had a great fried egg in it and had great flavor. Even the side of rice was delicious! It was moist and sticky without being overcooked. The bad: I didn't get to experience the food court dining in the grocery store. The interesting: The dishes came with a side salad with orange dressing, pickled yellow radish, and some citrus wedges. The dishes came with 3 pickled side dishes (including kim chi). and a soup.

So we scoured its food court for a quick meal and found this stall with a large selection of Korean dishes. After browsing through their wall mount menu, we ordered the following dishes: A1 Galbi Tang: Do you like juicy pork ribs in clear broth? Then this dish is for you. It came with 2 huge pieces of super tender short rib simmered in a light but flavorful broth with some soft texture glass noodles. It also came with a small set of traditional Korean Banchan side dishes (with kimchi, preserved turnip and seaweed salad) and a bowl of steamed rice. A16 Hot Stone Bibimbap: This dish is for those who like veggies. Inside the hot stone bowl, there were lettuce, bean sprouts, carrots, turnips, mushrooms, and zucchini. Nicely arranged and topped with seaweed, fried egg, and slices of soft beef. On the bottom of the bowl, it had slightly burnt steam rice dabbed with sesame oil. Mixing them all together, it created a kaleidoscope of colors, and delicious blending of flavors and textures. This dish also came with one set of Banchan. For those who like spiciness, it provided Korean chili sauce in a sealed condiment cup. The portions were great and the prices were reasonable. Another great spot for casual Korean food in South Bay.

Wooga Sullungtang is officially one of my top places to grab some ox bone soup without having to deal with a longer, traffic-ridden drive to K-Town. The broth is silky smooth, rich, soothing, and honestly tastes wonderful on its own. But of course the salt, pepper, and plate of chopped green onions really amplify and improve the overall dish. Purple rice and banchan were delicious as well. I love how thick and crunchy their radish is and I loved pouring some of those juices into my broth about halfway through finishing. Kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and fish cake were so so addicting. Service was impressively quick. I came in while the Mexico vs. South Korea World Cup was broadcasted so the energy in the restaurant and servers was ELECTRIC. As for the food, you have to try the signature dish: gobchang (intestines). For a medium, you get to choose three of four types: abomasum (stomach), tripe, large intestines, and small intestines. Additionally, you get side dishes, a choice of a stew (kimchi or fermented soybean), corn cheese, steamed egg, and salad. They cook the intestines for you before bringing it out to your table, so that it says warm as you eat. They stir fry the intestines with potatoes, onions, garlic and mushrooms. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered the beef tartare, since they had posters of it around the restaurant. The beef tartare is definitely in the top 3 of the ones I've tried around OC and SD. The cuts are thicker than normal and the seasoning is just right. They don't include a lot of ingredients like other places do, but it just hits better.
