I was in the market for a truck and Gengras had a nice Frontier Pro 4x for sale. I did the pre approve option online from their website. Was pre approved and they made an appointment for me to come look at the truck 2 days later. Absolutely loved the truck and we started the process I met with Riley their Product Specialist and she walked me through everything on the truck and took me for a test drive. Josh the Sales Manager got me set up with some awesome financing. They told me they wanted to do a full inspection on the vehicle and detail it and it would be ready in two days. Two days later I met with Connor to complete all the paperwork and drove home with a new truck. I have to say Riley, Josh and Connor made this whole process absolutely wonderful. Terrible experience with this dealership. I bought a 2018 Infiniti Q50 with 72,000 miles. This car was a lemon that broke down after 8 months/ 17K miles of use. The warranty, which was bought through Gengras didn't cover the engine that needed to be replaced. They told me they would have to tear the engine apart to see if it was covered. They charged me $4500 to tear it apart and then denied the claim stating it was due to signs of lack of lubrication although I have service records and have gotten all oil changes on time. Now im stuck with 20K debt on this car i've had less than a year. read more

BEWARE HERE!!!! Repair was done but there was an issue following it. I called the service manager over 20 times asking for them to see what the sound was but eventually he called back yelled at me for no reason and hung up on me : ( I called the Gengras Ford General Manager with no return call. I sent them an email. The Ford General Manager called me and said he would help me and get the vehicle back in but never did and no following response AGAIN. Weeks have passed with no help from them. They took the payment for the repair and ran. This is super sad and I was so happy with the location and cleanliness but that is about it. read more

Ford had fixed my A/C about a year ago, 7 months later--A/C stops working. It was brought back in for a diagnosis however, the part that was to be replaced was not. I thought because there was no record of the incorrectly replaced part in the system, I 'd be screwed about the root issue. A few days lather though Rebekah & David reached out to me, and so generously helped me with my problem, even though the situation was atypical. If it wasn't for both of them, I would likely detest dealing with Ford. I am grateful for their belief in my situation and their willingness to help ASAP. I found my experience at Gengras Ford to be most favorable for many reasons. My Loncoln MKZ had a bad water pump which unfortunately is a very difficult and expensive repair because it's located inside the engine behind the timing chains. I had it quoted at another service center and they quoted the job but said they were not even interested in tackling it. I then had it towed to Gengras and they gave me the same price along with a video of my car showing exactly what was wrong. My car was finished just a few days later and came out great. Shortly after that the spring broke on the strut in my front end so I brought it back. When they quoted it I explained I didn't have the funds to pay for it at that time due to the water pump repair. The service manage then very kindly gave me an enormous discount so I wouldn't have to drive the car in an unsafe condition. He only charged me for parts which absolutely blew me away. My car is perfect now thanks to their great work and generosity. I would also like to mention their friendly, professional staff and immaculate facility. Even though it's a bit of a distance from my house, I plan to use them on all my future repairs and new car purchases. read more

Do your research before buying a used car from this delearship to see the actual value vs their markup value. Check on warranty and please make sure to not take warranty unless you get a full explanation. I went from a $19k vehicle to 27k when it was all said and done. Within 60 days I noticed a bad starter, within 90 days I had another transmission issue which was very costly. When a dealer sells you a vehicle you should not have to worry about repairs within 2 months of having it. Please do your research when investigating you or your family's hard earned money, just to be let down and out of a car for several months awaiting a repair from a fairly priced mechanic. read more

Purchased a 2023 ford transit from Gengras more specifically from Leo Ouellette. Dealer had the van marked up way over sticker. Supply and demand we needed the van, okay we will pay it. My wife and I discussed a few things and explicitly stated we had no interest in an extended warranty. When everything was ready my wife went and signed the papers. Admittedly I should have been there and we should have looked more thoroughly at the contract before signing. When we received our first bill things didn't add up. We dug up the contract sure enough they slipped in a 5,500 dollar "service plan/extended warranty." When i called to question Leo about this no call was returned. I'll also say they seem to have left out any paperwork that showed the details of said warranty. While I can't say for sure it would have mattered had I been there. I feel they may have taken advantage of a female buyer. They did cancel the contract but it still cost us money. If you do buy from this or maybe any dealer triple check the paperwork!!!!!!! read more

I show up and the price is much more than agreed on when ordered. I asked why and he advised me it was due to an option that I repeatedly requested to NOT get and even told him MYSELF earlier that day. Out of spite, he tells me "I'll take the option off, but your still paying the higher amount". I had to start walking out of the dealership for the sales manager to correct the situation. Ford issued a recall in February 2020 and the parts were very slow to become available. After many phone calls the part was in and an appointment was made. Going to make this easy for everyone - drop the car off overnight and get my wife to take me home...so easy. Monday afternoon, November 30 and I'm ready to get this part that was recalled in February replaced. Arrive to drop off the car and would you believe that despite having an appointment that includes ONLY the recalled item, they don't have the part, ran out on Friday. Womp womp. Oh, so the customer service person explains that "it's NOT our fault, a lot of people want that part replaced." What? I ask, "well, whose fault is it?" He replies "parts department." So that makes me feel so much better...? I didn't realize that when I made my appointment with the SERVICE DEPARTMENT that is was up to me to also coordinate with the PARTS DEPARTMENT. So it's my fault the part wasn't there for my scheduled appointment? Must be, because nobody said that a mistake was made or that they were sorry. Even when the ice cream machine at McDonald's is broken, someone will say "sorry." The place is the "Honey Badger of Service Departments." read more

I do not trust the Gengras Ford dealership. Had my F-150 towed to Gengras when it broke down. After only plugging in the diagnostic, the tech told me it would be $15k to fix engine and transmission (why transmission? no idea). - I was provided no other options. I was shocked at the price and skeptical that they might be quoting me such a high price so I would simply sell it to them cheap and they could fix it and resell it. So, I called another local Ford dealer and they described in detail several options to address the issue in various price ranges. I then called AND texted the Gengras service tech, and received NO response to either method for over a week. I can't imagine the incredibly high quote to repair along with the lack of return calls were unrelated. No trust...no business. giving 1 star because i couldn't give 0. this was the absolute worst experience i have ever had. my car was FLOODED with water and they did not touch my car for over a month and when i went to pick it up (after a month and a half of them refusing to work on it) and it was covered in mold and riddled with gnats. it was disgusting. they are so unprofessional and absolutely no help at all. My feista transmission & clutches were replaced due to manufacturing issues. This was under Crowley ownership. Since then I brought car in 3 times for a tapping noise from front end after driving car on highway for awhile. Gengras is under staffed & has not been able to test drive car for 30 minutes. I even recorded sound but again so short of staff they wouldn't allow a tech to hear it. I've tried to stop in when making noise but their service department has limited hours. Banks are open more than Gengras. I stopped 1 time at 3:55 on a weekday, all techs gone for the day. Recently it took 8 days for appt, they had car 8 hrs, again with no results. It took a few hours of messages to get through to some one for status. Just before closing I got through. They wanted to keep car over night & try again next day. I wanted my car & requested my pick up to get it. They were made aware I needed ride back.They said no one there to do pick up. Eventually, with yelling I got did get picked up. I have witnessed others people in the same position. Yelling to staff that no one getting back to them & cars stuck there. Staff changing constantly. My quess is they can't keep help. Some issues from covid should have resolved by now. I have not been charged yet for the few times I left car, but they haven't serviced it either. I bought 7 cars from Crowley. I will never buy from Gengras, I have no confidence in their ability to service my cars read more

Absolutely horrible experience with Gengras Ford. Extremely dishonest dealership! I was unable to inspect the vehicle before signing the paperwork because they said it was still being cleaned. Before driving the car off the lot I noticed rust bubbling in several spots from the inside out (top & bottom) of the hood, a dent on the LR quarter panel & defective taillight (safety issue). That is the reason they wouldn't let me see the car before signing the paperwork. They didn't even have the title to the car the day they sold it, the coolant level was well below the min. mark and there wasn't even any gas in the car. When I asked the dealer to assist in some of the cost to repair the car to the condition it should have been in at the time of the sale they basically said oh well it's a used car. As soon as they have your money they want nothing to do with you. Very unprofessional dealership, I recommend staying as far away from Gengras as possible. Do not believe their claim of "People come first" they are the typical "Used Car Salesmen" trying to make a quick sale even if it means blatantly lying! read more
