Old school deli that has a lot of imported Italian items. I came for the sandwiches they are made to order and delicious! Definitely going back for more. Very friendly and helpful service. It feels like a north beach type of place.

Stopped here for lunch the other day and it did not disappoint. The store was nice and clean and fully stocked. Lots of yummy items to choose from. Customer service was great and our sandwiches were prepared quickly. My only complaint is that the sandwiches were a bit pricey ($35 for the two we ordered) but at least they were delicious. Plenty of parking in the lot. Thank you!

Awesome Italian deli in WC. Lovely service with a smile. Fresh bread and meats. Clean counters and hot food to go also. Nice spot to get Italian sandwiches and food.

Looks dead from outside and more people leaving than coming in...

Unfortunately the downtown walnut Creek location next to Phill's has really gone down hill. I keep trying but they keep disappointing. Went there today, 1130am, with my son, 6 other people waiting to be served inside, only one person helping and he was prepping for a larger catering order. All of us waiting are looking at each other, another lady comes in, looks at all of us inside, decides to leave. I tried to be patient, waited for about 12 minutes, and LEFT! No "Welcome", "how are you", "will be with you right away"..... Where is the service?? This location is DEAD. Tony said go to Morucci - they do sandwiches and service right!!

Sweet and sour egg soup formally known as egg salad. $19.54 for a pound and it's mostly watered down mayonnaise.

    Uneven cut

This place went down hill. The service I got last time was very unfriendly and unwelcoming with the younger staff. They are also always out of fresh mozzarella and arugula every time I go as well. The bread we ordered was also stale as **** lol. Wish I could give it a higher rating but I've only had one pleasant experience here.

Sandwich with delicious Italian meats - it lasted me two meals

A basic turkey sandwich and a Diet Coke costs $22?? Wish the taste was worth the extra money, but really quite boring and average.

How do I pre-order ONLINE lasange, turkey ravio;lis, etc? No one answered the phone on Friday for me to place an order.

Sadly things have changed. I bought $50 worth of roast beef a purchase I’ve made many times. Once home my guests and I were surprised the roast beef tasted different. So different we did not eat it. It was not up to Genova’s standards. It wasn’t…

I was hooked. Today - Wednesday, March 26, is when local Jersey Mike's owners and operators are celebrating "Day of Giving" where they will donate every single dollar that comes in to local charities. And, during the month of March, customers will have the option to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate $1, $3, or $5 when placing their order. Charities include hospitals, youth organizations, food banks and more. This Walnut Creek Jersey Mike's is supporting the Special Olympics Northern California. Now to the good part. I ordered a Mike's Famous Philly Grilled onions, peppers & white American cheese and a BLT Bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Now I haven't been to Geno's Steaks or Pat's King of Steaks in Philadelphia, but I have to believe both establishments would be proud of the Jersey Mike's Philly. Perfectly cooked - tender steak with browned sweet onions, sweet peppers and really gooey cheese. I was in heaven. The BLT is a typical sandwich but good. It's my favorite so far. Fresh lettuce, ripe tomato's and bacon ---- ooohhh the bacon Like Danny DeVito says "Jersey Mike's is my happy place!" I don't often frequent anywhere except for my house, so that speaks to how much I love this place. Highly recommend any iced matcha (especially seasonal options) or coffee and the Fancy Bagel. I mean, sunflower seed cream cheese? Who knew it could be so good. The Market is clearly my favorite place for matcha/coffee, bagels, and now dole whip (obviously). But what I love most is that they are innovators--they do not sit around and let the menu get dusty, they are always doing something new. New drinks, new cold foams, adding an ice cream machine. And not in a way that feels like whiplash, but just like menu drops that make sense. This is how you run a place that is good to locals and people visiting for the first time... You keep it interesting and that's what they do. So many local spots fall into the same old thing with zero changes and I genuinely LOVE that The Market isn't doing that!! 10/10. Also, the staff are just lovely x1000. Grace, Josh, Carla, McKenna, Izzy, (sorry if I spelled someone's name wrong!) and everyone else are true gems. They are consistently kind, upbeat, and engaging, and they are consistently good at producing drinks/food that don't change based on the day of the week and the weather. My matchas always taste the same, which is a big selling point for me. Anyway, all that to say--amazing place, amazing people, amazing matcha, and sorry that y'all have to deal with me 24/7.

Fortunately, the food inside lives up to the '80's music. This place is a little Eastern-European treasure chest. The meat selection alone is worth the trip: excellent veal sausages, proper kabanosy (both American-made and the legit European imports), and enough smoked and cured options to make you reconsider every bland sandwich you've ever eaten. Then there's the sweets. Not just a few shelves: an impressively deep lineup of Eastern European treats, both loose and packaged. The kind where you walk in thinking you'll grab one thing and leave with three mysterious chocolates and something wrapped in gold foil. It's also my most reliable solution for a sudden Żywiec beer craving. And if that's not the mood, there's always a jar of pickled mushrooms waiting patiently. This time, though, I wanted to try something different, so I went with the chicken and mushroom filling. It was also very tasty. One thing I really like is that they focus more on the filling, and the bread is not too thick. It always has that slightly greasy goodness in the best way. So yummy. As much as I enjoyed the food, my interaction with the woman working there this time was not great. When I arrived, she was unpacking a box. She saw me but did not greet me or ask if I was ready to order. I stood there awkwardly for a few minutes before she finally asked. It would have been nice to be acknowledged right away. I ordered two different fillings, and when she was packing them, I asked if she could please label them so I would know which one was which. She responded by saying, "I wasn't going to make you guess." I did not find that very friendly. In fact, I thought it was borderline rude. I still really enjoyed the food, but that interaction took away from the overall experience a little bit. I wish the customer service had been a bit warmer.
