I have a 2020 wrangler sport. few weeks back I got a steering stabilizer installed at the Chapman dealership. After getting new tires and rims 2 weeks ago, (also installed at the dealership) I started to have a much worse death wobble, the ESC light had been on, and the dealership tried to charge me 3200 to fix their error. After a back and fourth they are going to refund me for their install job of the sway bar- say they can't fix it. They had my jeep and didn't tighten anything, they left my tie rods completely out of place, and basically told me to GFY. Jeff was able to identify the problem the dealer left me in 10 minutes and fix it after another 15 minutes. Jeff is awesome, Jodi is very knowledgeable in the office as well. 11/10 Will only go back to Jeff for future balance issues. Thank you both !!! read more

I just had new tires put on my f250. I brought it in to George's because they specialize in lifted and lowered vehicles. It took Jeff about 20 mins to align my truck and drive it a few times to make it right. Love the fact there is nothing electronic or digital there. While I waited at their shop for my alignment on my truck (and not for long - service was timely), I loved the genuine "auto shop feel" as I looked at their family photos and the kitschy decor that I appreciate. It reminded me of how mom and pop businesses used to be, which I feel Vegas lacks. This place is not a cold, fancy and polished shop with a Keurig machine....but that's what I liked about it. Wow. That's all I can say about this business. Real old school customer service that you definitely don't find in this town. Wanted my alignment checked and Jodi told me on the phone that it was probably tires that needed to be balanced. I took it in and anyway and in 5 minutes they said the alignment was fine and have the tires checked, no charge. I should have listened to her but I'm glad I went because I was able to meet two great people that are honest and a business I can absolutely recommend to friends and family without fear of being disappointed. Took my '67 Camaro here for an alignment, after seeing some positive comments on a Corvette forum about George's. There is no computerized alignment rack here, just alignment plates you drive onto and the eyeballs of whoever is performing the alignment. In no more than 3 minutes, the tech made 2-3 adjustments and told me to 'go drive it' and I did. To my surprise, the overall driveability was improved, and the car seemed to track straight. To my disappointment, there was still a high speed vibration over 60mph (which I had described to the tech) and I knew it wasn't a wheel balance issue because I just had that done. While I was impressed in the short-term with what George's accomplished in 3 minutes with a ratchet and a wrench, I would recommend going somewhere with a more modern and computerized approach. My front wheels were never lifted in the air during the 3 minute process, which is a red-flag that the alignment at George's is probably not as thorough as your car deserves. George's also failed to find a loose (by 7 whole turns) lower ball joint which was missing it's cotter pin. And because of the loose ball joint, the alignment had to be redone (I chose another shop to redo it). George's might have found the loose ball joint if the tires actually left the ground... 'Old-school alignment' = too cheap to invest in a computerized alignment rack. Today's highway speeds require more accurate alignments, which George's simply can't provide. Cost for the 3-minute alignment at George's? $80 - cash only. Ouch! So much for trusting the Corvette guys... read more

Drove home feeling like "FINALLY" this is how my car should drive and feel. Guys this is a dying business. If we lose our real, old school alignments, we're going to miss them and never be able to get them back. The new laser technology is a fad but not the true way to align your vehicle. You need your tires square and flat to the road, a machine is only going to tell you the specs for that year, make and model. Everything matters when it comes to that! If you have one variant, you now have given your car a bad alignment. The technician using these laser techniques can't make these adjustments in most of all cases. Don't let this old school alignment die friends! read more

Amazing !!! When making appointment I was interviewed to make sure my problem was not due to tire issues, it was possible since I had a new tire put on my front right side. They advised me to have my tires roatated to see if that was the cause of my car pulling to left. Had Big "0' rotate and balance my tires. Problem persisted and brought my car in here for Allignment. They took car for a road test first. Then started alignment. I was told the front end was already in good alignment. He decided to switch my front wheels and then took car for road test. For some reason THAT fixed the issue. The charge was $0.00. Thats right, he refused to charge me any money since he never had to align the front end. How is that for honesty. read more

Jeff has been doing alignments/suspension work for 40 years. His father passed on the business to him. They did such a good job on the alignment on my car that my dad brought in his Van the very next day. They discovered that there was an issue in one of the parts on the alignment and promptly fixed it. Your car is your legs in the city, so they've practically prevented an accident/trouble in the future for my dad. We appreciate the work and effort being put into their expertise. Came in no appointment, got a very good quote and was out less than 2 hours.These guys will show you the bad parts and explain everything and answer all questions, no problem, no worries. A while ago I had my front brakes and rotors replaced as well as a brake flush for a little under $500. The service could not be better. I have called them with car questions and they are very honest and super helpful. Reliability - I watched the mechanic and he worked on the car quickly and with precision. Affordability - Slightly below average prices. Timeframe - I was there for less time than predicted. Pricing: Fair in pricing on service, they don't push unnecessary repairs or services. This is the absolute best place to get your alignment or brake work done. I just had my lifted 92 Jeep done and it is driving like new now. I have brought all of my vehicles I've owned over the last 10 years into George's and have never been disappointed. Don't be discouraged by the "appointments only" thing as they have plenty of openings for alignment and brake work in this down economy. I verified that today with the office manager. "Bobby Y" mentions that they don't have the fancy computers to check the alignments. I've never seen any computers there while I was waiting for work to be done, but then again, I have NEVER had an issue to be concerned about it. I have had lots of issues left over by shops that have all of the digital equipment. That's the whole reason I had to bring my 92 Jeep to George's Alignment & Brake Service in the first place. The Jeep had been previously totaled with extensive frame damage. They fixed the frame but botched the alignment. After about 40 minutes on my Jeep and a quick test drive, it was given their seal of approval. That's good enough for me knowing their work and sure enough it is driving like new again. Went to Georges for a alignment on my truck. Turns out my tire was about to blow which discount tire some how missed. I was advised not to take my truck on the freeway let alone drive very far at all because of how bad my tire is/was. Thanks to Georges Alignment and Brakes I was able to avoid what could of been a horrible accident. If I have questions regarding my tires now I will go to Georges Alignment and Brakes before I go to the Discount Tire shop on Blue Diamond rd since the assistant manager there some how missed how bad my tire was and just wanted to sell me new tires or rims and tires instead of letting me know I only have 1 bad tire that is ready to blow and could get me killed on the freeway if I continue to drive on it. Georges also had my truck for a hour and I know it took up space for them and they did have to look at it but they did not charge me anything either. They were much more concerned that I got it taken care of asap and even directed me to a tire shop close by as well as some advice on how to possibly save some money on the replacement. read more

I've been working on a 69 LeMans for awhile now and finally decided to get the front end alignment done. I found that some shops don't mess with the older vehicles so it was nice to find a shop that appreciates a little age on a vehicle. I believe they deal with appointments only which is nice because you'll chat directly with the individual doing the work. Jeff had the job done in 30-40 minutes, spun it around to make sure the steering wheel was straight and alignment was good, and off I went. George's does anything suspension and brakes.
