Ordered on DoorDash recently and I have to say I LOVE these donuts!! I'm a huge donut fan but only if I really love the donut (I'm a little particular), so I'm always looking for new favorites places. My friends have ordered from kitschy themed places around OC that are just dry and not good (but shape it like a zombie and ppl bite I guess), this is one of the best donut places I've found. Sorry Georgie, you're getting a downgrade in stars. We were having a hankering for sugar and knew that this place was open 24-hours, so that's where we went. I've been during the day and they've had an abundant to choose from. They were pretty and tasted good - even better, on the cheap side, too. On this cold night we entered an empty shop with a completely bare display case. A lady came out and asked if she could help us. Why yes, we would like some donuts... are you still open? She said they were and only had these two plain donuts left. We were perplexed... Why stay open if you have no product to sell. This immediately caused me to ask, "are you making more?" Which the lady behind the counter said, "No, sorry." So I guess they're open at night and only sell whatever didn't sell that day... Ms. Donuts is down the street, they are open 24-hours and they always seem to be making fresh stuff. I guess that's where I'll be spending my late night sugar binges. read more

Picked up a few dozen for my crews this morning. Like many times before they were all fresh and all good. Plus they toss in a few extra for good measure. I love the old fashioned buttermilk plain donuts, bear claws, and apple fritters. YUM! Good coffee too. Been here many times and never had a bad donut, bad coffee, or bad service. I've been coming to Georgie's donuts for years. Since the days I was going to church on Wednesdays and we all went to hang out at Georgie's afterward - this place hasn't let us down. I've tried some pretty amazing donuts from some pretty fancy places but you won't have that experience here. If you're looking for your normal donuts: glaze, chocolate, sugar bars etc then this is the place to be! The lady behind the counter is courteous and helpful. She smiled warmly when I was there. The only thing I will tell everyone to take precaution of are the random homeless and weird men just loitering in the area. It's just uncomfortable so watch out! read more

The old owner was amazing, but recently passed away. My dad has been taking me here since I was a kid and he and his friends have been regular customers who would enjoy a bite to eat, coffee and play cards. They've been coming for decades. The new owner pushed them out. Half of the group has passed away and what remains are stroke & cancer survivors as well as a widow. They suck. I'll never give them another dime. read more

This shop is located close to my job and they are open 24 hours, so I decided to stop by last Friday Night around 10:30 PM. There was a young couple picking out their choices as I walked in next. Soon after a family walked in after me. I was impressed with the elderly woman clerk behind the counter as she admonished the family that wormed their way ahead of me thinking they were going to get served before me. She advised this family that I was before them and she would help them after me. I appreciated that she recognized a line jumper but I advised her that I would defer to the family as I was going to be purchasing 2 dozen doughnuts. When my turn came up, I ordered a varied selection of both yeast and cake type donuts, with various coatings: sugar, glazed, glazed with sprinkles. I alos observed a tray of all types of doughnuts stacked together guessing that they were the day olds or doughnuts made much earlier in the day. On one of the dozen doughnuts I selected the clerk threw in an extra one...the baker's dozen. I had decided to separate the dozen cake doughnuts from the dozen yeast doughnuts, each type in their own box. However when I got home and opened the boxes, the clerk had thrown in a bunch of donut holes of different coatings which was a nice surprise. The price was $16 for 2 dozen donuts. I saw their signage that seemed to indicate $7.50/dozen, but I'm surmising that I ordered doughnuts that were not included in that pricing structure. I tried both types of doughnuts. They were really tasty,light and airy for the yeast types. They sugar donuts were good and the glazed ones had decent amount of glaze that was not sickening sweet (think Krispy Kreme). I selected a couple of the lemon filled doughnuts that had a generous portion of pretty tasty lemon flavored filling. It had a more natural lemon taste than some of the other lemon fillings I have tasted over the years. Their cake type doughnuts were tasty and not too dense as some of them can be. I would definitely go back here to purchase their doughnuts again. The only issue I had with this shop was as I was leaving, I observed a fly inside the doughnut display case. I'm pretty confident that there have been other places that have flies in their kitchens that you just haven't been able to observe........ If you are using a CC or maybe even a debit card, it sounded like the shop adds a surcharge for using one. You might want to confirm before you order. read more

I bought a couple dozen donuts here on the way to work one day. I asked for a variety and was given a great selection of glazed and sprinkled donuts with more than a couple tiger tails, maple bars, buttermilk and other "premium" options. They were fairly inexpensive and I had no complaints about the taste or quality. I'll definitely come back next time I need another dozen donuts (or two). read more

WOW ! The donuts are amazing! I got half a dozen, I like to heat them up for 5 seconds they would melt in my mouth I tried so far the original glazed twist and the maple glazed one. This is my new go to donut place. Its less than a mile from my house, Its 24 hours, and the donuts are good. I don't really eat donuts, but I like to treat my co workers to some sugar high during the early morning grind. Everyone seems to like it. They even have blueberries donut! Georgie's 24 hour a day Donuts - I think I love you! Whose brilliant idea was it for most of the donut shops in Anaheim to close at noon? As an out of towner needing her sugary donut fix, I did not find it at all amusing. I read Yelper Roy B.'s review which stated that Georgie's was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and made a beeline for it! The two ladies behind the counter were very friendly as I paced back and forth inspecting the vast array of donuts like a victim trying to identify their perpetrator in a police lineup. Who would be the lucky winner today? Even the one other customer in the store, a large Hispanic man covered in tattoos, smiled at me as I apologized to everyone and no one in particular "I'm sorry, I just can't make up my mind. A quick spin of my mental roulette wheel and - bam - chocolate iced raised donut - I choose you. At only $.80, this seems much cheaper than the donuts back home in Bakersfield. They were large and not too shiny (Not that weird overly shiny look grocery store donuts get when they overglaze them and let them sit in the case for too long). The donut texture was light and fluffy, compressing slightly at the edges of each bite. The chocolate frosting was sweet and chocolatey without being cloyingly sweet. There was a good frosting to dough ratio and it just seemed like everything was on point. I've had my sugar fix, at least for now, and the smile on my face is just a little bit brighter. read more

I was initially going to go with a two star rating, as "meh, I've experienced better" is a more accurate representation of my thoughts more so than the "A-OK" that accompanies the three star option. But they deserve at least three stars seeing as I happened to wander in well after midnight, and everything there appeared to be fairly fresh, as opposed to sitting around hardening throughout the day. I sampled a chocolate bar and a cinnamon coated offering at the suggestion of a local fireman who was on his way out upon my arrival. Both were not as good as the reviews which led me here suggested they would or should be. They were simply regular donuts...nothing more, nothing less. They weren't stale at all, but they didn't taste particularly special, either. Just very run of the mill. And no establishment should receive more than three stars simply because their offerings aren't fresh. To their credit, they're open 24 hours....though the atmosphere felt a bit sketchy. It didn't feel safe to stick around, hence my order was to go. For something special, head to Donut Man in Glendora. They too are also open 24/7, and for good reason. There's a reason their line seldom dies. This particular establishment sufficed to satisfy a late night craving in a pinch, but not to any impressive degree indicative of the reviews here. But the three stars I'll give them are solid, as I've sampled fare from other average places that I didn't even bother finishing. If nothing else, I did finish the two I picked up here.
