Mind you I called days prior and she was also in a hag mood thru the phone I decided to walk in since she was horrible thru the phone and I wanted to be taken seriously As I walked in she was on her phone , AirPods in and all. She sounded frustrated talking to someone. She kinda shushed me and tried to play it off as if it was a customer. She then tried to pass on calls to someone else in the back Seeing her "busy" I walked to the bathroom . Came back , I could already automatically tell she was not in a good mood by her face, body language and tone of voice I understood there was an appointment already booked at the time I was walking in, but her way of handling an appointment book is horrible. She made the whole experience unbearable. She had this nasty attitude and the bitterness in her voice when she'd respond back with an undermining tone and body language. She could have simply scheduled me for another moment , but she just needed to win she asked "what year is your vehicle?" I told her the year and she quickly shot me down, her body language changed to her saying "op well now we can't help you. Sorry" shrugged it off with a smirk and sat down , as if showing "you're done, bye". It was my first time ever in this business, quickly and immediately hated it I asked to speak with someone else other than her and this lady just , slides out her chair and STORMS off like a little kid going up some stairs and said "fine". It was hilarious . If it weren't for me talking down for some guy who was literally ignoring the whole situation, leaving thru a back door . What I hate is so many of my clients recommended GERBER collision, not the location but the service. They repaired my car after an accident. The communication and the service were great! Geico sent me to them and I'm very happy they did. And a couple of months later, some sort of shield between the from tires seemed likely to fall off (completely unrelated to the repair, which was to the back end of the car). So I drove it in, and a young man spent about 10 minutes fixing it. They didn't charge me, and he wouldn't accept a tip. That just blew me away. I strongly recommend them! read more

I won't go into details, but we ended up with roof damage. If you have USAA insurance, this is one of their preferred shops. So that's where we took it. They provided an estimate, and pretty much handled everything on the insurance side. They gave regular updates (mostly via text) about the status of the car. They didn't seem to rush, either. They had the car for over three weeks, but it takes time to do something right. I accept that, and even expect it. They fixed the damage, and then even sent it to the dealer to deal with some "codes" during the final check-out of the vehicle. I just picked it up, and it's like new. You would never know something happened. So far I haven't noticed any issues. No rattling, no funky issues with the electronics (the antenna was damaged, which also has the GPS in it), etc. They seemed to do a good job, and they guarantee it for life. This is my second time over the years coming here. The first time was years ago when someone side swiped my car in a parking lot and took off. They did a great job with the repair. Communication is excellent! Now here I just had my catalytic converter stolen off my car. I had a higher deductible and was stressing due to the holidays being 2 wks away. So I finally took the plunge to change my insurance to AZ, so I decided I might as well take advantage of paying more by getting the mysterious scratch that ran along the entire driver's side of my car fixed. I've had this exact same problem before (which makes me wonder if someone is after me), so I knew the protocol: call Geico, find a repair shop that's Geico-affiliated, get a rental. My last experience dealing with this scratch business was really easy, and this time was no different. I'm not sure how Geico decides what repair shops to work with, but the checklist must go something like this: -Friendly employees - check. -Clean facilities - check. -Geico Adjuster on location to explain everything to you in layman's terms honestly - check. -Enterprise Rent-A-Car on location with a car ready and waiting - check. -Cute boys working at Enterprise - check. -Fastest turn-around time ever - check. -Great communication skills with phone calls and updates - check. -Free bottles of water - check. -Can provide a painless experience to the customer - check. Not to mention, when I got there, the adjuster looked over my car and thought I could get away with just getting it buffed so I wouldn't have to pay. My experience with Gerber Collision & Glass was kind of a mixed bag. I called to try and schedule an appointment for a windshield replacement 3 times and only got through to someone once. I submitted a quote online and received an email with the details and a 1-800 number to call and confirm. I called and was connected to someone apparently at the corporate office. After a brief conversation we scheduled a time last Friday to drop off my car for the replacement at this location. I showed up at the time we set up on the phone. They had no record of an appointment and there wasn't a glass van there to do the replacement. The folks at the front desk called the main office to try and figure it out. I was put on the phone with a customer service person at the corporate office who looked up my call logs and seemed confused. After collecting my info and trying to track down the person I talked to we rescheduled the replacement for Saturday morning at my house. I got a confirmation for the appointment and the technician gave me a call the next morning to let me know he was on his way which I really appreciated. He showed up, started setting up and got to work. 5 minutes later he came to the door to inform me that the new windshield was loaded into his van wrong and hit a metal bar during transit and had cracked. Once again we rescheduled the appointment for Monday. He showed up extra early to get it done and everything went according to plan. SUCCESS! He was very polite and they gave me some kind of promotional pricing for the troubles which was nice to see. After the technician left I got a phone call from the corporate office asking when I wanted to reschedule my appointment since my latest install had ended up cracking. I was shocked and told the gal on the phone that I had just looked at it and it was fine, but I went outside to check it again just to be sure while she was still on the line. Everything was fine, so I let her know and she said that the work order from Saturday must have come through late and she would fix it in her system. Well this morning, Billy the technician comes by my house to Check because apparently he got another work order today saying the windshield had broken. I explained to him that I was sure they fixed the system issue yesterday and that the windshield was fine. I was impressed that he'd drive all the way over to Check, but I felt bad they their computer system had wasted his time. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work they did and the professional nature of each person I talked to (when I could finally get ahold of someone) but they have some serious process control issues and apparently faulty backend software. Maybe just a lot of human error. I can be sure which. They minimized the inconvenience for me so it didn't matter much because I work from home, but if you want a quick windshield replacement maybe call someone else. If everything went off perfectly Gerber would definitely be 5 stars just because everyone was so nice and professional. read more

Admittedly, I didn't have time to shop around and when my insurance provider informed me their preferred shops guarantee their work for as long as you own the vehicle, I figured it was worth a shot to go with their recommendation. At first glance, Gerber makes a good impression with well-kept grounds, a clean and modestly furnished lobby, and accessible staff in pressed uniforms. A coffee pot brews in the waiting area for guests and bottled water is available upon request. My adjuster conveniently worked out of this shop and I was in and out for my estimate in about 3o minutes. I appreciate the relationship Gerber has established with a variety of insurers to bring ease to an already frustrating experience. I was told the parts for my vehicle would be ordered ahead of time and I could bring my SUV back when they arrived to avoid unnecessary downtime. I do not carry rental car insurance, but Gerber stepped up to the plate and paid up to $20/day for a rental with Enterprise, whom they also have an established relationship. On the day I brought my vehicle in for an expected 5-7 day repair, Enterprise met me at the shop and drove me to their lot to pick-up a car. 4 days later, my car was ready. A slight shimmy in the wheel brought me back to the shop. Gerber picked up the tab for another rental so I wouldn't be car-less for the few hours it took them to correct the issue. I primarily dealt with Brian Hinton, who followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure all was well. Awesome customer service, fair pricing, fast turnaround, and professional from start to finish. This place knows how to earn and retain customers, including this one. read more

I was very frustrated because I was not at fault in this incident, had numerous agents and adjusters fail to call me when they said they would, and was embroiled in insurance issues. Joe however, called me back every time, was extremely courteous, very communicative, and went above and beyond with my repairs. I've had repairs done in other places where they get you in and out and couldn't care less about your experience. Joe was empathetic and professional, and when I told him during our initial phone call that it was a mess of a situation, he actually asked me to explain to him what was going on so he could possibly help. My car was ready when it was promised. And when I saw it I couldn't believe it - the job the team did on my car made it look better than new. Joe took the time afterward to explain every detail on my final work receipt so that I would understand what they had done. I asked "Hi, can I bring my car in for a bumper repair?". She said that she was new and would have to check...(why even have her answer the phone). Spoke to a Claims Adjuster and asked same question. He laughed and said "no, you can't bring it in on a weekend, Insurance don't pay for car over the weekend". First off, it's Friday morning. would have been a full day they could have been working on it, second, I called Met Life back and they told me the shop was dead wrong. Met Life rep said they would contact the shop and apologized for the problem. I ended up taking it to Chandler Auto Body. They had it done for me the following Monday Morning.... without the drama. I had my truck tow to Gerber Collision & Glass almost 8 weeks ago. I was told it would take 2-3 days to repair frame damage. After about 1 week I called them inquiring about my truck. I was told that Brent (shop manager) was out due to a family emergency till the following Monday and would give me a call. That call never came. I called the again and was finally able to talk to Brent. He told me the CPU was out on the frame machine and they have one on order and it should be in in a day or two. Another week goes by and I call again inquiring about my truck. I was told Brent was out but that Jim would give me a call. That call never came. Several calls later I finally did get a call back from Jim and back ally all he told me was the part still hasn't come in but should be in soon. A week or so later I get a call from Brent telling me the part is in and should have the frame machine up and running in the next couple of days.more time goes by and still nothing. At this point they are getting up set because I am calling inquiring about my truck. This past Monday I get a call from Brent telling me what it's going to cost and it will be done in a day or two. I called this morning and talked Jim and he told me he didn't like the complaint I filed with his corporate office and he wasn't fixing it and to come and get it no charge. I recommend no take their truck/car here. They lack leadership. I intend to picket there store on Monday and notify every insurance company I can think of. I paid to have my truck tow there and now I have to pay again to have it tow someplace else! No one tried to contact me period! It would appear you value insurance claims over cash repairs. I asked them to just give me a quote on what it would cost to replace the light because I already knew what it cost to get shipped to me. Not only did they fix the car in super fast time, they also replaced my tail light and took the dent out of my bumper at no additional cost! I am extremely disappointed how Gerber gave me my Scion TC back which is crazy because the first time they fixed my car from my first accident they did SUCH a good job, the manager was even nice enough to cover my rental both times I had them fix it. Unfortunately I was in a second accident 3 weeks later, rear ended and I am BAFFLED with how they gave me my car back! DIRTY, WIRED THINGS THEY SHOULDN'T OF WIRED, COVERED WIRES WITH ELECTRICAL TAPE INSTEAD OF PROPER COVERS, MY AFTERMARKET SUBWOOFER DIDN'T WORK, RUINED MY TINT ON THE BACK GLASS, HATCH BACK WAS COMPLETELY CROOKED, BUMPER CROOKED AND LOOKED LIKE IT WAS FORCED ON, PUT 30 MILES ON THE CAR AND MADE 3 CHIPS IN THE WINDSHIELD THAT WERE NOT THERE PRIOR.. and on top of that when I went back to complain the guy who took pics of all this to "show his boss" he reeked of alcohol. NOT OK. And this is the short version of this. *UPDATE* so now after having my audio get take all the bad wiring they did apart from my aftermarket back up camera, amplifier and subwoofer it turns out Gerber fried my amplifier and I now have to spend $350 on a new one! He explained everything that was going to happen with my "wounded car" and that he would call me with updates... AND HE DID...he did exactly what he said he would do. And they got it done ahead of schedule...when I picked the car up, he had it out front, it was washed and shiny. He showed me the work they did and even explained to a limited extent, how they did the work. I really appreciated that personal touch. This shop was referred by Geico...my new insurance provider. I might add, my dealings with Geico were just phenomenal. They were equally responsive and proactive throughout all of this. I uploaded the info from my accident on my phone with the Geico AP while I was waiting for the police and had a response from them with in minutes after the police report was filed. My car was in their shop the next day to begin repairs. An extensive estimate of the repairs and duration of time required to make them was sent to me the following day. I was given a rental vehicle when I dropped of my truck. The turn around was 9 days and I received a call from the shop the day I was to pick it up and was told a parts issue had pushed the delivery back to the next day. When I picked it up, the quality of the repair was top shelf. I experienced a problem with a fender clip popping loose the next day and took it by the shop and was on he road again in 20 Minutes. An outstanding group of people, instilled a feeling of confidence the the job was being done right, which it was. I'd highly recommend GCG to anyone requiring body work.
